What would you rate the product on a scale of 1-10? Everything included (matches, storylines, roster, etc).
Me - 8.

I'm going to go with a 6...
When the Main Event Mafia debuted, i'd have given it a 7... but since then, the product has been a little bit inferior to that. However, not 5 worthy, since their still heading towards tha right track.

As much as I try to support it, I'd give it a 4. That is mainly due to the fact that they have so many good wrestlers. There are just so many things that they continue to fix. Off the top of my head:
1. Overuse of gimmick matches 2. Repetitive weapons to win matches (see Beer Money) 3. Massive brawls 4. Overuse of comedy 5. Cutting to breaks/to the back so quickly after something eventful happens 6. Mentioning WWF/WWE/WCW/ECW every single week
I'm sure there are more, but little things like this can ruin a whole show.

You have got to love people who waste so much of their time commenting on things they hate so much. If you think TNA is that bad why are you commenting on it? Do you watch it? If you do, then please explain why. I for one don't watch things I hate. I consider it a waste of my time. For everyone who complains about too many gimmick matches, weapons, etc., etc., blah blah blah. You don't even watch TNA. Or you haven't in months because they have not been using too many gimmick matches for quite some time. Beer Money uses pretty much one weapon in particular most of the time. A beer bottle. Hmmm...Beer Money...Beer Bottle. That makes some sense some how. You probably bashed the Million Dollar Man when he was winning every match with a briefcase shot too. It is part of the teams gimmick. I could go on forever with this but I won't. Again that would be a waste of my time. I'm just sick of seeing uneducated bashing of TNA. I don't care if they get bashed for the idiotic things they do. That is something i've done from time to time myself. However it looks like TNA is trying really hard to turn the corner. They have cut way back on the comedy garbage and the general tone is starting to get more serious. Sorry for rambling but this is just wearing me out. If you don't like TNA there is a very simple solution. Stop watching and paying attention to it. If you do like it. Come in here with educated criticism. Not rehashed crap that doesn't even make sense anymore. On topic: I for one gave the current product an 8. If there were half points available it would have probably been a 7.5. I think everything is getting on the right track in TNA. Everyone has really stepped up their game and it shows. I just hope they keep the train on the tracks.

I'll be perfectly honest, I am not a regular viewer of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. Granted, while my opinion may count less to some people because I do not view the product, I still somewhat keep tabs on the prodcut by reading spoilers, asking questions to TNA marks, and looking over their booking decisions.
The first thing that really does not reel me in is the 'Main Event Mafia.' Out of all of those guys who compose the Mafia, I am only a fan of Kurt Angle. Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, Sting, and Booker T do not interest me in the slightest.
Another big factor for me is how terribly TNA has dropped the ball with Samoa Joe. If TNA truly wants to be an alternative to the WWE, I would have thought them to be a more edgie product. If I were in charge of booking, I'd have Joe become the ultimate heel, destory ANYONE in his path if they piss him off. Make him a savage like competitor (without making him seem lame).
The gimmick matches hurt as well (Insert object) on a pole matches always stink (the only 'on a pole' match I ever enjoyed was the Pinkslip on a pole match between The Rock and Mankind).
So, until TNA improves, I can't bare myself to view their product.

I give it a 6. The are better than average. But there are a few things they need to do..
1- Cut the comedy sketches...they aren't funny and make the program look elementary.
2- Use the ladies only as eye-candy. They IMO have women that are so much better looking than the divas in the WWE. But they continue to let these girls speak and wrestle...when clearly they can barely do both. The exceptions to that of course is awesome Kong..but she is pretty much it.
3- As someone else mentioned they need to cut the using weapons to win a match trend they have going on. I can't remember the last time I have seen a straight wrestling match from start to finish without a damn interference or someone using a chair to win the match. It gets old. It used to be on special occasions that we would see wrestles stoop to such levels..but now it happens every damn week.
4- Give the spotlight to the originals. Aj Styles and Samoa Joe could carry TNA on their back. Bring Christopher Daniels back and that is pretty much all you need. TNA was great to watch because they had straight wrestling..but slowly but surely it is starting to look more and more like the WWE/WCW.

i Gave it a 6.
if it was the first week of this MEM/Frontline storyline i would have gave it an 8. I mean they were doing so many good things there. MCMg were getting tv time(which is the only part of the storyline that I'm happy with now.) AJ/Joe were the front guys not Rhino/3d. Matches were entertaining(TP08). I mean how entertainment drops in less than a month is just insane

My only problems with TNA right now are the Knockouts getting way too much time, and the X division.
The X division was always the heart of TNA, they should kept the high flying style. I mean that's why the name TNA worked. There was and isn't any wrestling show on mainstream television that has anything like what TNA did with the X division. Yet as soon as they got a two hour weekly show they slowed it down, and just went more towards being WWE style, instead of using the unique stuff they did in the first 4 years.
But other than that I think TNA is quite solid at the moment.

A 7.
Reasons:
Lack of Shark Boy being World Champ Lack Of Shark Boy on the Card Lack Of Shark Boy in the Frontline Lack Of Shark Boy in the main event X-division is horrible Knockouts r somewhat boring.

ok. I gave it a 7 and that's being generous. really generous. I was diggin tna with the whole MEM thing until they started lookin lost with this whole Christian thing. When they added Rhino and 3d the interest has just gone down. For the simple reason that Rhino and 3d are in some ways more like MEM then frontline. I think team 3d shoulda stayed tweeners and got into the weak tag division again. Rhino I'm ok with but they shoulda had more build up as to why he should be in the group...maybe like a trust angles. With these 3 entering now, Joe and Aj are once again pushed to the background and now you're right back at square one basically fighting against people that are like the people in your own group...geez tna!
Now they wanna pull Sting out. Why now? why so early? because AJ got whooped by his daddy? big freakin deal. If all sting wanted was respect then why even join the group..he knows these guys arent like him. the only thing that could save what has been tna's most intriguing storyline is the return of Cage. Granted the feud still has some heat so i'll still watch to see if tna can get this thing righted a little better. Its not completely off course but it's headed that way...again. Where's Al snow when you need him?
Maybe Tna will bring back one of those somethingthat cant possibly fit on a pole, on a pole matches to keep thing interesting...Ding ding ding!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist. You have got to love people who waste so much of their time commenting on things they hate so much. If you think TNA is that bad why are you commenting on it? Do you watch it? If you do, then please explain why. I for one don't watch things I hate. I consider it a waste of my time. You've also got to love people who attack someone's opinion then ask them to explain their opinion. I've often felt that TNA fans are so quick to dismiss any negative view on the product because deep inside they know it's garbage and thus when presented with the truth of the abysmal nature of TNA's program react only due to their subconscious awareness that they're completely wasting their own time. This type of internal conflict often leads to such blatant contradictions and hate mongering. Just look at religion. In another example, note how he automatically defends the excessive use of weapons without the person he quoted saying anything relating to it. Is his quickness to defend something that wasn't brought up simply showing that he realizes the product is guilty of it? Also note the obligatory comparison to an angle that worked using similar circumstances as a means to support his flimsy argument. And sure, hitting someone with a trademark, foreign object has been done for ages in the wrestling business. However if your argument is that because it worked before it works now, why was the near shot-for-shot remake of "Psycho" in 1997 far inferior to the original? Hrm? I'm just sick of seeing uneducated bashing of TNA. I don't care if they get bashed for the idiotic things they do. That is something i've done from time to time myself. However it looks like TNA is trying really hard to turn the corner. They have cut way back on the comedy garbage and the general tone is starting to get more serious. Sorry for rambling but this is just wearing me out. If you don't like TNA there is a very simple solution. Stop watching and paying attention to it. If you do like it. Come in here with educated criticism. Not rehashed crap that doesn't even make sense anymore. Note how anyone who disagrees with his viewpoint is uneducated. It's also funny how TNA's attempt to "turn the corner" looks an awful lot like pushing older wrestlers over the younger crop which, isn't that exactly what TNA's been criticized for doing for years now? And so my conclusion is that TNA sucks and anyone who watches it is either a crazy, blood oath swearing diehard, or someone simply amused with a company that managed to take a great TV deal, one of the best rosters ever put together for a nationally televised wrestling company, and some of the biggest stars from the past and puts on one of the worst wrestling programs that has ever existed.

Thank you Alex, I'm tired of debating against people who refuse to accept fault with the product no matter what they do.
+1 for you Still a -1 for TNA
