I finally was able to get to a toys r us(thanks to a kind friend of mine) and exchange my extra koloff set for the rock and rolls... i have agreed with plenty on the hair color mistake by jakks and the point that the bandannas they did include were nice but didnt really capture the rock and rolls circa 1985... so finally(sorry for the shiny blurryness) my long awaited fix up on them... stripped them down to just the black tights(which they actully did wear more times then not) and as they did in real life,i went bandanna crazy! god bless the 1980s! and yes... these guys are looking forward to the dream rematch of a life time.... comments are always appreciated...rock on all! - Ben

Rock and Roll!!! Rock and Roll!!! They look pretty good. Nice work with the bandannas. I've been trying to find something to use for the silver boot covers they wore all the time. I also think they look better without the vests -- I don't think they ever wore black vests with the black tights.

Really great fix ups here! I have thought about getting those figures for my collection, but just haven't really liked how wrong they did them. They also never gave Robert Gibson his true off set eye. I really like how you portrayed them..

Love the R & R fix-up. Looks much better than what Jakks released.

WoW! YOu did an awesome job on those!! I was gonna do the same thing but i didnt quite know what id use for the shiny bags they wore on the boots..ill see what wal mart has in fabric stuff..
On a funny side note about Robert's offset eyes...My friends had an indy promotion here in MS in the same town RObert's AAPW company was a few years ago..ANd he said Robert had an unfare advantage over everyone in the ring cuz he could keep both eyes on everything all at once...I thought it was funny.

Another thing...Looking at your pics the zebra stripes got me thinking that these would be awesome bases for some Midnight Rocker customs...WOW again to you sir.

I have to admit that I have never done any serious fix-ups before. What type of paint and what colors should I use to make this switch? Thanks for your help. I really want to add these figs to my collection but i can't leave them the way they are.

Bobby Eaton and Lex Luger are looking forward to a dream rematch? WTF?
Seriously though, I like the colors, I just hate the Jakks Stan Lane head that looks more like Luger than Lane. Hell, it looks more like Luger than the Luger head they use on the non DA CS as well.
