I think he does deserve to be in the UFC now and 20$ says Dana keeps him. He can draw. Plus Dana gave him like 20 chances so he obviously likes the kid. He will be in the UFC for atleast a small run especially since he just won in his UFC debut....

Yeah, I think he showed respect on the finale. Dave Kaplan was nothing special though. It'll be interesting to see how Junie fares against tougher competition.

I've said it a hundred times. Junie Browning was approached by Dana White. Dana said "Hey in kid, I wanna bring you on my in reality show. I see you're a little in out there and TUF hasn't had great ratings recently. How about you in come on, be a in dick. Talk in crapand piss some in people off. Don't worry about in gettin kicked the off the show, you have a in pass all in season. Just be a complete in douche." ...what? That's how he'd say it. I think it was all planned. I'm not saying Junie is a saint or anything. I think he's a little out there and has some charisma. Dana saw he's a very talented fighter and saw that he's a bit of a show boat and decided to choose a kid that he could market as the next Chris Leben. Last night before the event all you heard was "AND JUNIE BROWNING WILL FIGHT." HOW many times did Goldberg say that as if Browning was the main draw of the show?

Like churchy Said. Bascially everything Junie did on the show was an act. Junie is a great fighter, and his kicks are dead on. Ive seen him fight in person (In august of 2007)

As is usually the case, Chuck encapsulates my feelings in a far more hilarious way than I would ever be able to do. The one-two punch of "dropping the act" and training at Xtreme Couture seems to have really humbled Junie and focused him. He's got a bright future if he keeps that focus. Even if it really was all an act, the fact that he's training at Xtreme Couture serves as a reminder to us that he's taking this MMA thing seriously and a reminder to him that he's a relatively little fish in a gargantuan ocean. If he keeps his wits about him and doesn't go too overboard with the showboating, I'd love to see where he ends up.

No, matches from the show itself do not count on your record.

I think the fights from the shows should count. The fights on the shows are all considered exhibitions because if they were not, the results would have to be made public directly after. Considering that the show is taped well in advance, this would clearly ruin the whole thing. For this reason the fights are exhibitions which do not count towards a fighters record. As far as Junie goes, I like him, and I really don't know why. He is a douche and if he acted like he did on the show towards me, we would have big problems. He looked good against Kaplan though and seems to have straightened out his attitude. I would like to see him have a rematch with Efrain. He has a lot of potential.
