Hey, cool, Owen is going to the Hall of Fame. Nice having Natalya s the Divas champion and winning with the Sharpshooter! Pretty Interesting bit with Gail there.
Everything else was pretty good... or at least that's all my ADD would stay with at 3 in the AM.

Good win to get the HF over. Nice with Kane there. He always used to do stuff like that, and the heels run away. I like that you keep trying to give Shelton a push. Good somewhat squash for Umaga. MVP winning was fine; hopefully he continues to go somewhere. Nice, Kennedy/MVP would be solid. Good point as to why Gail chose Sd over Raw. Surprised Kennedy lost, especially since he has a feud upcoming and TBK doesn't, at least to my knowledge. Good main event, glad the heels win. Solid ending after to a solid show.

Great to see the New Hart Foundation getting the win, I'm really hoping you put the tag titles on them sometime in the future. I didn't like the Kane segment, just seemed a little odd, and made your tag champs look really weak. I dont understand why Benjamin is involved in the main event, but at least its a main event featuring Benjamin. Good to see Umaga going over, hoping for a big push for him. I'm hoping for a Helms/ Kendrick title match down the line. Nice to see MVP getting another win. I'm looking forward to the Kim/ Natayla match. I'm really surprised Kendrick went over Kennedy, I'm finding it hard to see where your going with some of the midcarders. I enjoyed the main event, and the segment afterwards makes me thing that Benjamin could be in for a main event push, make it happen.

I didn't want to read from page 1 (it's 2am!) but I read from No Way Out and classic Kane, MVP being a badass, and an unpredictable Raw main event scene make this a must read from now on. Plus, NHF own all on Smackdown, hell yeah

February 23rd, 2009 San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California Attendance: 13, 896
Raw kicks off with a video package recapping last week’s show. It shows Mr. McMahon’s return and him putting Randy Orton’s ‘Mania title shot on the line against Batista and Chris Jericho in a Triple Threat match. It then shows highlights of the main event and it ending with a time limit draw.
The opening pyro goes off and Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole introduce us to Raw. They remind us of the ending to last week’s Triple Threat main event and that tonight, our World Champion John Cena will return to in ring action.
Right off the bat, we are greeted by “No Chance in Hell” as Mr. McMahon and his daughter, Stephanie come to ring. Vince grabs a microphone and begins to talk. He said that last week, Raw once again couldn’t find a single number one contender for John Cena at WrestleMania. At the Royal Rumble, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton & Batista were all eliminated at the same time. At No Way Out, Orton won but Jericho and Batista were screwed out of their fair chance. Last week on Raw, those three men fought to a time limit draw. He says that they are done trying to make one number one contender from these men. Stephanie gets on the mic and says that now at WrestleMania 25; World Champion John Cena will defend against Orton, Jericho & Batista in a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match. She then announces that over the next six weeks, each of the four men will face off in different variations of singles matches against each other. Batista is not here tonight for personal reasons but we will see World Champion John Cena take on Chris Jericho.
Commercial Break.
Legacy is shown backstage and Cody Rhodes and Manu are congratulating Orton on his spot in the WrestleMania main event. He says that it’s nice to be in the main event, but it should still be just him and Cena. He then congratulates Rhodes on advancing to the Money in the Bank ladder match at ‘Mania and says that he talked with the McMahons and they agreed to let Manu in tonight’s Money in the Bank qualifier. It’ll be him against Rey Mysterio and The Miz in a Triple Threat match. Manu looks happy as we go to our first match.
Tag Team Match Cryme Tyme vs. The Second City Saints
Goldman and Steel vaulted into World Tag Team Title contention with their victory last week and tonight, they shined just as much. They took it to Cryme Tyme, who have been in a slump as of late. Steel looked the best he has in a WWE ring thus far as he worked over JTG early on. Shad dominated when he was tagged in, as he used his size to his advantage. Goldman and JTG played the comedy act to the crowd during the match but the finish came when Steel dropped JTG with the Steel Spike.
Winners: The Second City Saints (6:11) **¼
The next inductee into the 2009 Hall of Fame is announced as the former 2 time WWE Champion, Bob Backlund! He will join Owen Hart and Steve Austin as part of this year’s class and he will be inducted by the man he won Tag Team gold with and current Hall of Famer, Pedro Morales!
Commercial Break.
An ad is shown to inform us that joining Saliva as part of WrestleMania 25’s celebrity appearances will be a man who is a part of WrestleMania history, having been at WrestleMania 1 & 2. None other than Mr. T! He will serve as a special guest time keeper during one of the matches on the show.
After the ad finishes, we see The Technicians and Kelly Kelly talking backstage. Noble still seems down about their losses at No Way Out and last week on Raw. Haas tells him that they need to regroup as a team and get back on track. He says that they are going to take a few weeks off and train and get better than ever. Noble agrees but still looks down.
Triple Threat Money in the Bank Qualifying Match Manu w/ Cody Rhodes vs. The Miz w/ John Morrison vs. Rey Mysterio
Mysterio was way over tonight due to the show being in his home town of San Diego. At first, the heels in this match had the advantage. Most of that was due to Rhodes and Morrison making a difference on the outside, whether it was Morrison tripping up Rey or Rhodes distracting the referee so Manu can use a low blow. After a few minutes of this, Mysterio took over. He hit Miz with a hurricanrana and nailed Manu with a missile dropkick. The finish of this came when Rey hit both of his opponents with the 619 and nailed the springboard splash on the Miz for the win.
Winner: Rey Mysterio (8:08) **½
Backstage, we see John Bradshaw Layfield making his way towards the ring area. He will join us, next!
Commercial Break.
JBL makes his way to the ring, in a suit, and grabs a microphone. He begins to say that we are now just six weeks away from the end of Shawn Michaels’ long, illustrious career, because at WrestleMania 25 he will defeat the Heartbreak Kid and retire him. He then says that, like last week, he will put Shawn Michaels in a match tonight because he’s still under contract to JBL. Last week he put Michaels to face a ring general in William Regal, but Michaels still won. Tonight, he’ll have to face a monster of a man in Mike Knox!
Singles Match Mike Knox vs. Shawn Michaels
JBL stayed at ringside for this match. Although Knox is a monster, HBK went right at him and started quickly. Knox wasn’t prepared for this and Michaels took advantage. He worked on the big man’s legs to keep him grounded. After a little bit of that, Knox got on the offensive and hit some powerful moves like a powerslam and a backbreaker. He whipped Michaels hard into the corner, where Michaels did his trademark flip and landed on the apron. Knox went to hit him but HBK blocked it and hit a sunset flip but only got a two count. Right out of the sunset flip though, Michaels kept holding Knox’s legs and locked on his modified Figure Four. Knox managed to reach the ropes though, but once he got up, Michaels dropped him with the Sweet Chin Music.
Winner: Shawn Michaels (7:14) **
Once the match finished, JBL got in the ring and took out Shawn Michaels with a Clothesline from Hell. He stood tall over him as we cut to commercial.
Commercial Break.
Divas Match Katie Lea Burchill vs. Melina
Beth Phoenix and Santino were on commentary for this match. Katie Lea and Melina turned in a great match, as both women showed why they are two of best. Melina hit some kicks in the corner and used a foot choke early on. Katie Lea fought back with some offense that worked on Melina’s back. The match was over when Katie Lea went for her hair-pull backbreaker, but Melina elbowed her way out of it and hit the Last Call.
Winner: Melina (4:19) **½
We now see Paul Burchill walk into the McMahons’ office. He asks when he is going to get his Intercontinental Title shot. Stephanie look at her father, who decides that Burchill should name a time and date. He says right now, but Stephanie tells him no because he has a match tonight. She then says that maybe he & Punk can settle the score at WrestleMania 25. Mr. McMahon likes the idea and says its official; CM Punk will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Paul “The Ripper” Burchill at WrestleMania!
Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Intercontinental Champion CM Punk & Kofi Kingston vs. Paul Burchill & William Regal w/ Layla
This was a solid tag team contest. Punk and Kofi, being former Tag Team Champions, worked very well together and surprisingly, so did Regal & Burchill. The heels worked over Kofi and cut the ring in half. They made sure he wasn’t going to make the hot tag, although he did come close on two occasions. Finally, on his third attempt, Kofi managed to make the tag and Punk came in and cleaned house. He gave Burchill a stiff knee to the face and a bulldog. Then he took the legal man, Regal, and ended the match with a Go 2 Sleep.
Winners: Intercontinental Champion CM Punk & Kofi Kingston (9:43) ***
CM Punk and Kofi Kingston walk up the ramp and Punk is holding his Title high in the air, while Burchill looked on, pissed off.
Backstage, we see Chris Jericho walking towards the arena. He takes on John Cena, next!
Commercial Break.
Before our main event, we are shown a video package of the beating John Cena suffered a few weeks back at the hands of Randy Orton and Chris Jericho.
Non-Title Singles Match Chris Jericho vs. World Heavyweight Champion John Cena
Cena and Jericho put on the type of match you’d expect from them. Jericho was dominating early on as he seemed to be going after Cena’s head. He stomped on it and kept elbowing it, knowing Cena just recovered from a concussion. Cena attempted to get back on the offensive, but Jericho nailed him with an enziguri, which took the Champ back down. Eventually, Cena did get back on track and downed Jericho with the FU, but Randy Orton made his way to ringside. Cena made the cover but Orton distracted the referee. Cena got mad and knocked Orton off the apron, which allowed Jericho to roll up the champ and get a handful of tights in the process to pick up the win.
Winner: Chris Jericho (10:19) **¾
Randy Orton got in the ring and began to fist fight with Cena, while Jericho rolled outside. Jericho got a chair, rolled back in the ring and nailed Cena in the back. Orton got prepared to punt the Champ, but Jericho hit him with the Codebreaker. Jericho stood tall as Raw went off the air.

Mixed feelings on a Wrestlemania 4-way. I feel like since last year was a triple threat, it should have been 1-on-1 this time around. SCS winning is good. I was praying that Manu wouldn't actually qualify. Putting Mysterio in the MITB match is a nice idea. Good win for HBK, and then JBL getting the upper hand made sense. Punk-Burchill at Mania? Meh.........Punk & Kofi winning the tag match was good. Nice victory for Jericho to get him more legitimate. I like how Orton went for the punt but got attacked before he could pull it off.

WrestleMania 4 way is cool, though I would have loved for it to be a 1-on-1 contest. Mysterio going in the MITB match is awesome. Good victory for Michaels, damn JBL! Punk vs Burchill? Eh, its different, though at Mania seems werid. Punk and Kofi winning the tag team match was decent. Jericho winning the main event is cool, and when Orton was stopped before he went for the punt.

i don't mind the WrestleMania main event, should be entertaining even though bore-tista is in there. the build up for it's been good though, rather Miz quality for the MITB but Rey will thrive in that match. like the second city saints tag team too.

- I like a fatal four way match at WM for the World Championship. As long as Cena gets pinned, I’ll be happy. - Good main event, but I’m sensing that Cena will not lose in his return match. - I really like the Second City Saints getting pushed. Especially beating Cryme Tyme. - Is Noble going to turn on Haas? I can see it happening. - Obviously Rey was going to go over. Manu in a MITB wouldn’t work. The Miz just isn’t at that level yet. - Good win for HBK. HBK/JBL should be a good match. - Not big on diva’s matches, but the right women went over. - I don’t see Burchill winning the title at Mania, but its good to see him getting used in this diary. - Holy crap I love it. Jericho winning is awesome. Wasn’t expecting that at all. I like the distraction by Orton to continue the story. - Good show. Main Event with Jericho winning was my highlight.

-Last week on ECW, Elijah Burke showed no respect for veterans like Matt Hardy & Finlay. This week, he'll take on another vet, the ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer!
-TV Champion Evan Bourne will team with Finlay this week to take on "The All-American American" Jack Swagger and DJ Gabriel!
-Also last week, we witnessed the return of Kevin Thorn and he'll be in action again this week.
Tune into Sci-Fi this Tuesday at 9 PM for all this and more!

Having a Fatal Four Way with four of the biggest superstars? Sounds like a Helluva Main Event for WWE Wrestlemania. As long as Batista doesn't win, I'm happy.
I'm quite pleased that Jericho won, and how Orton distracted Cena though.
I really like you a lot because you're using Paul Burchill, and pushing him to the IC Championship, which I'm loving. I don't know if I can see him winning at Wrestlemania, especially against Punk.
Keep up the good work, mang. I'm glad that Manu didn't qualify for the MITB, he would be a boring addition.

A solid Raw show. The 4-Way at Mania sounds kinda cool. 4 huge superstars in the main event of Mania. Only I am more into one on one matches for Mania, this is interesting. Knox/HBK looked pretty good actually. Glad HBK won the match as well. Not sure about the Punk/Burchill feud. I mean sounds good just not Mania good. Main Event looked good and suprised Jericho got the win there. Some good stuff man, keep up the good work.

February 24th, 2009 San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California Attendance: 13, 896
ECW opens this week with a video package showing ECW Champion Matt Hardy saying that Elijah Burke doesn’t respect the veterans who have paid their dues. It then shows Elijah Burke coming out and confirming Matt’s accusations when he said that he, as just a five year pro, is already better than Matt. It then shows Burke’s victory over another veteran, Finlay.
Matt Striker and Todd Grisham welcome us to this week’s edition of ECW. They hype up tonight’s main event, where the young, brash Elijah Burke will take on another veteran who he doesn’t respect, Tommy Dreamer. Striker then cuts off Grisham and tells him that there’s something going on in the back.
We cut to the back where we see EMTs checking on Matt Hardy, who is laid out and bleeding. Tommy Dreamer, Finlay, Evan Bourne and the Second City Saints are there and they all look concerned. Theodore Long is there as well and he too looks concerned, but mad.
Commercial Break.
Singles Match The Boogeyman vs. Kevin Thorn
The announcers were calling this the battle of the freaks of ECW. Thorn is the better wrestler and it showed early on as he controlled the match. He hit a big boot and a spinebuster but Boogeyman kicked out of a pinfall attempt. Boogeyman fought back and hit a chokeslam bomb but surprisingly only got a two. The finish came after Boogeyman was knocked out the ring and got back up to the apron. Thorn nailed him a few times and got him up for the Original Sin, which he ended the match with.
Winner: Kevin Thorn (6:16) **
Theodore Long and Tiffany are shown in his office. Elijah Burke comes in. Long asks him if he had anything to do with Matt Hardy earlier tonight. Burke says that he had nothing to do with it and is innocent. Long says that he is innocent, until proven guilty. Burke just smiles and leaves the office.
Commercial Break.
We are told about Bob Backlund being the next inductee into the 2009 Hall of Fame and that Pedro Morales will be inducting him. We are then shown an ad stating that Mr. T will be a guest time keeper at ‘Mania.
Singles Match Gavin Spears vs. Ricky Ortiz
Last week, Gavin Spears asked for a chance to get his first win and with Ortiz on a seven match losing streak, both men needed wins badly. Ortiz started this match off on the right foot by hitting Spears with some fast paced offense and some quick arm drags. After a while, Spears took back the upper hand and nailed a snap DDT but only got a two count. Spears ended it when he dropped Ortiz with a running death valley driver.
Winner: Gavin Spears (5:28) **
Commercial Break.
We return from commercial to see Gavin Spears enter Theodore Long’s office. He’s very happy about picking up his first win and Long congratulates him. He then says that Spears will have his hands full next week as he will take on ECW’s resident fanged freak, Kevin Thorn. Spears looks concerned about the news.
Tag Team Match TV Champion Evan Bourne & Finlay w/ Hornswoggle vs. Jack Swagger & DJ Gabriel w/ Alicia Fox
Match of the night right here as these four men worked very well together. Gabriel has really come around in the ring lately and it showed here. A funny spot occurred during the match when Fox attempted to cheat and trip Bourne. She was then chased around the ring by Hornswoggle until he caught her and bit her butt. Swagger seemed pissed off at Bourne and nailed him with stiff shots. The finish came when Swagger hit Bourne with the gutwrench power bomb and got the pin.
Winners: Jack Swagger & DJ Gabriel (10:00) **¾
We are shown a split screen with Tommy Dreamer and Elijah Burke. The ECW main event is up next!
Commercial Break.
A promo featuring Mark Henry and Tony Atlas is shown again this week, with them saying that Henry’s reign of terror begins again next week.
Singles Match Elijah Burke vs. Tommy Dreamer
This wasn’t the greatest of main events but it was decent. Burke dominated the early portion and he was trash talking Dreamer at every opportunity. He’d hit a move and trash talk, and do it again and he got a lot of heat like this. Dreamer made the spirited face comeback that always happens but Burke fought it off and ended the match when he tossed Dreamer into the corner and hit the Elijah Express for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Elijah Burke (8:16) **
After the match, Burke got on the microphone and said that beating Finlay last week was step one and beating Dreamer was step three. Step two was earlier tonight when he took out Matt Hardy at the top of the show. He gained more heat than ever for that as the crowd hated it. He finally said that the final step in his plan will be taking the ECW Title at WrestleMania 25!

I like that you brought back Velocity. Each show getting a match is good. I hope Burke wins at Mania. He really deserved a title when he was with WWE. Hornswoggle's a lucky leprechaun to bite Alicia's butt. Please repackage Thorn. I never really liked the vampire crap. That, or bring in Gangrel and Ariel to form a vampire stable. Overall, a nice ECW. Have Backlund go crazy and Chicken Wing Morales. That'd make my day.

Interesting choice for an opening match. Digging it although it makes Boogey look weak. Can't really comment on Spears/Ortiz since I've never seen them. Swagger pinning Bourne made sense to show that Swagger is capable of pinning him. Good win for Burke in the main event. You're building him up nicely into a credible threat. Probably the best guy you've built up in this diary, aside from Shelton maybe.

- Boogeyman losing is great. i've always liked Thorn's look. Hope he gets a good push. - I'll have to research on Spears, but he can't be worse than Ricky Ortiz - Good tag team match and gives Swagger creditability by pinning Bourne. Liked that - Good win for Burke. Having him be the attacker from the beginning of the show was nice. That just shows he is a great heel. - Overall, nice buildup to Wrestle Mania. Far better than what WWE is putting on recently. Good stuff.

I am liking the sound of WrestleMania XXV at the present moment. Firstly, I am loving that you didn't put CM Punk in the Money In The Bank match again and that the WWE Intercontinental Championship is actually being defended. Him and Paul Burchill should have a solid match. Not big on Cody Rhodes being in Money In The Bank really, Rey Mysterio I understand. I bet Ted Dibiase Jr will enter the match soon. John Bradshaw Layfield vs Shawn Michaels is unfortunately going to happen, HBK will probably win that. Really, I wish something better than Edge vs Jeff Hardy would happen, like Christian getting involved, but heck, there's more than a month away till the show. Love the sound of that RAW main event, I picture that match happening sans Chris Jericho (ya know, if Batista weren't hurt) in real life.
Nice impacting way to kick off ECW on Sci-Fi, Matt Hardy being laid out. Hmm, bleeding I am unsure of since WWE are PG. Kevin Thorn beating The Boogeyman is greatness, get rid of Boogeyman, he's true filler. Eh, Gavin Spears and Ricky Ortiz is filler-worthy. Spears winning is good too. Once again, hehe. Please get rid of Ortiz, he's a waste of space. Somewhat like the team of Jack Swagger and DJ Gabriel, could improve my opinion of Gabriel since I find him green as hell. Good tag match beating Finlay and Hornswoggle. Elijah Burke beating Tommy Dreamer is fine, didn't seem like a good ECW but it was okay I guess.
