It's amazing that this still going, Kev. Kudos on the length of this, man. ECW was, as usual, stellar. Sucks that Ziggler and The Miz lost, but Finlay and Sheamus are the better team. Henry/Ezekiel? It sounds cool, but really it would be a trainwreck, lol. Spears retaining was expected. I must be the only DJ Gabriel fan so it sucks he's being jobbed out, but Swagger winning was obvious. Kevin Thorn vs. Kennedy for the ECW Title? Normally I wouldn't really like it, but you've built Thorn and The Brood up so well that it works.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 7th July 2009...Decent way to start off the show there, with Finlay and Sheams O'Shaunessy picking up a victory over The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. Shame that Miz and Ziggler are wasted to the Irishmen, but hopefully they begin to get a push on the ECW brand. Both are solid talent. Solid ECW Television Championship defense, yet predictable one at that by Gavin Spears, I fail to see anything too good out of him though, unfortunately. Hopefully Santino Marella gets some momentum, seemed like a squash match in Spears' favor, but it made Santino look bad. Mr Kennedy's promo was nice, liked the Brood interrupting him. Please do not push Tyler Black too quickly, I bet he'd of been awful in this promo if it were real life. He lacks mic abilities. Jack Swagger beating DJ Gabriel is okay, push for Swagger please. Kevin Thorn winning the contenders four way was suprising, was expecting Elijah Burke or Matt Hardy to pick up the win. Ezekiel Jackson and Mark Henry feuding eh? Would end up with a bad match though. Should be interested where you will go with this, good show.

July 10th, 2009 Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota Attendance: 18,271
The opening video package highlights CM Punk’s disqualification victory over Umaga last week, due to interference from Randy Orton. This allows CM Punk to name the stipulation for his World Heavyweight Title match at The Bash. It then cuts to a more gruesome scene and shows Chris Jericho’s vicious attack on The Undertaker’s knee.[ALL SUPERSTARS' NAMES ARE STILL CLICKABLE AND WILL LINK YOU TO THEIR TITANTRON/THEME MUSIC]Jim Ross and Tazz welcome us to Minneapolis and tonight’s huge edition of Friday Night Smackdown! They hype tonight’s main event which features World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton teaming with Umaga to take on CM Punk and Jeff Hardy in tag team action. Speaking of Punk, he comes to the ring to address the fans. The crowd goes nuts when they see Punk as he gets in the ring and grabs a microphone. He talks about the big mistake made by Randy Orton last week. He basically gave Punk a free victory and now Punk has the right to choose a stipulation for their World Title match at The Bash. Punk says he could choose anything. He could choose a Last Man Standing match, a Ladder match or even a Gulf of Mexico match. He laughs at that last choice, but he said that he’s been thinking hard this past week. And he finally came up with the perfect match. At the Bash, Randy Orton will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk in an Ironman match! He knows that he’s better than Orton and he’ll prove it at The Bash by beating him several times in one night. He also plans on beating him in tonight’s main event as well. Punk leaves as we go to commercial. Commercial Break.
Non-Title Tag Team Match WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart Foundation w/ Natalya Neidhart vs. The ColonsThese two teams have gone it multiple times in 2009 and this was pretty good, much like their other encounters. The Colons held an early advantage until Smith nailed a big power slam onto Primo. That allowed the Champs to double team the younger Colon brother until he made the hot tag to Carlito. He came in on fire and even nailed Smith with the Back Cracker, but Wilson broke up the count. He finished off Carlito with a Sharpshooter. Winners: WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart Foundation (6:54) **½After the match, we cut to the back where we see Josh Matthews standing by with Chris Jericho. He asks Jericho what is up with his recent grudge with The Undertaker. Jericho says that he has had the most dominant decade in WWE history, not ‘Taker. He also said that he can’t back up his claim to being the best until he beats The Undertaker. He succeeded in taking him out last week and next week Jericho promises to host a funeral for The Undertaker, because his career as we know it…is over.Commercial Break. As we return we see Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero in their office. Stephanie is talking with Gail Kim and tells her that all four General Managers have agreed to something concerning the Divas and Women’s Championships. Stephanie tells her that at The Bash, every Diva on the WWE roster will compete in a Battle Royal. The winner will earn a shot at either the Women’s Title or Divas Title, depending on what show they’re on. If an ECW Diva wins it, they get to choose which title to go after. Kim likes the idea and leaves with a smile.Singles Match John Morrison vs. Scotty Goldman w/ Ace Steel & The Bella TwinsEverybody pretty much knew that Morrison would win considering that Goldman is primarily a tag team wrestler. That didn’t stop this from being a solid match as Goldman showed that he could hang tough in singles action. He hit Morrison with some nice moves and even attempted his Chicago Crab, but Morrison kicked him off. He ended it with the Moonlight Drive a short while later. Winner: John Morrison (7:09) **¾
Commercial Break. The broadcast returns to see Shelton Benjamin backstage, holding his briefcase. He is being interviewed by Josh Matthews, who asks when Shelton will finally cash in his title shot. Shelton looks at him as if he’s stupid and tells him that the only person who knows when is himself and Josh will find out at the same time as the rest of the world. And that’s when it actually happens. He then looks into the camera and says that he’s far from finished with the Big Show.Singles Match Big Show vs. Chris JerichoThis was a very good first hour main event, as both men kept the crowd into it the whole time. Show used his usual arsenal full of power moves. Jericho would attack the knee though and chop the giant down to size. He got him down and kept him there by working the mat. That worked until Show worked his way out of the Walls of Jericho and sent Jericho flying into the corner. Show took control and was ready for his knockout punch until Shelton Benjamin ran down and got on the apron. Show turned and swung at Benjamin, who quickly got off the apron. He turned around and was met with a Codebreaker from Jericho. He covered and picked up the three. Winner: Chris Jericho (10:07) ***After the match, Benjamin got in the ring and waited for Show to get up. He then nailed him with the briefcase and stood tall over him.Commercial Break. When we return we are greeted by seeing our United States Champion Kofi Kingston entering Vickie and Stephanie’s office. Kofi asks why Vickie wanted him. Vickie said that she wants to use the Smackdown/ECW working agreement to its full potential. She wants her nephew, Chavo Guerrero, to get a United States Title shot if Kofi’s man enough. Kofi agrees, but Stephanie steps in and tells Vickie that her nephew hasn’t earned his shot and if he wants an opportunity, he needs to show up here next week and win something. Vickie doesn’t like it, but agrees. Before we head to commercial once again, our announce team runs down the card for The Bash so far, putting emphasis on the World Heavyweight Championship Ironman match.Commercial Break.
Divas Match Gail Kim vs. Michelle McCoolThis was a friendly battle between two of the top contenders for Natalya’s Divas Championship. They both are favorites to win the Divas Battle Royal at The Bash. As expected, this was even throughout until Kim set her up for the Happy Ending. At that point, Natalya ran out and nailed her with the Divas Title. She then hit McCool as well, causing the match to end in a no contest. No Contest (5:55) **Natalya Neidhart stood tall over her fallen victims and hoists the Title high in the air. The cameras then cut to CM Punk and Jeff Hardy meeting up backstage, they team up next!Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match CM Punk & Jeff Hardy vs. World Champion Randy Orton & UmagaAs one would expect, these two teams put on a very good match. Punk held his own at the start of the match, battling evenly with both of his opponents. Jeff managed to do the same, until Umaga caught his cross body attempt and turned it into a big Samoan drop. That led to Umaga and Orton working Jeff over with quick tags and some under handed tactics. Eventually though, Jeff hit the Hardyac arrest after an enziguri and managed to make the tag to Punk. Punk nailed Umaga with a superkick and then began to work on Orton. He hit him with his signature moves, but when he went for the GTS, Umaga ran in and superkicked him back. Jeff then ran in and clotheslined Umaga to the outside. Orton then began to stalk Punk until he got up and he nailed him with the RKO for the win. Winners: World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton & Umaga (13:44) ***½Orton sits in a corner, much like Raven used to and he clutches his World Title as he looks on at Punk’s fallen body. He continues to show no emotion and just looks on with a blank stare. On the outside, Umaga and Jeff Hardy are still brawling. Orton’s face is the last shot we see before we go off the air.© WWE 2009

- Ironman match is a great Idea! Though it will take a while to write. - Nice match there to get the Champs on the card and over. - Nice segement with Jericho, Hosting a funeral sounds cool. - Wow I thought the announcement would be unifieing the titles, this will take a while to write aswell. - Morrison over is great, I'll always like Morrison going overanyone. - Great segment their, they day Benjamin cashes in will be great but I still feel like he's a mid carder. - Nice win for Jericho and It dosent make Big Show look weak, Benjamin vs Show for the Bash? - Chavo vs Kofi could be good, but Kofi would go over. - Nice divas contest, for some reason I lol'ed that it was 5:55 - awesome main event, good that Orton went over. Overall nice show.Thumbs Up.

- I don’t really like Ironman matches, as they can become quite boring. Hopefully the write up is good. - Alright opening contest, with the better team going over. Hopefully we get a better heel turn than what really happened. - Good way to possibly transition Scotty into singles action down the road. - Jericho/Show was alright, but I really like seeing Benjamin working with upper card guys now. - Good main event, but I don’t like Orton pinning Punk.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 10th July 2009...Hmm, decent opening promo to kick off WWE SmackDown this week, with CM Punk cutting a promo on Randy Orton. I don't like the sound of an Ironman match for The Bash between Punk and Orton, it seems pretty unneccessary in my mind. There's more important matches that an Ironman match stipulation could of been used, really. Decent win for the New Hart Foundation, they pretty much own SmackDown's tag team division. I personally think you should go through with a WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships storyline/angle. Don't like the thought of a divas battle royal after the WrestleMania XXV incident. John Morrison beating Scotty Goldman is fine, didn't do a whole lot for the Second City Saints, though really. Chris Jericho beating Big Show is good, nice interference from Shelton Benjamin there. Kofi Kingston and Chavo Guerrero should have a good bout for the WWE United States Championship, but I find it easy to predict Kingston retaining. Natalya attacking Gail Kim and Michelle McCool is okay. Great tag team main event, with Randy Orton and Umaga beating CM Punk and Jeff Hardy. Good show overall, just some things I dislike.

Raw’s opening video highlights Legacy’s big victory over Batista & John Cena last week and that leads to Cody Rhodes getting a WWE Title shot next week on Raw. Tonight’s Raw main event though, features the three top Champions in WWE in a Triple Threat match! WWE Champion John Cena vs. ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy vs. World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton!Instead of the usual Raw announce team, each of the three brands had an announcer represent their show tonight. Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Matt Striker were on duty tonight and they hyped up tonight’s huge main event. They also hyped up the two Tag Team & Women’s Champions facing off. But we kick off the show with a Triple Threat match featuring three Champions as well.Non-Title Triple Threat Match Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne vs. Television Champion Gavin Spears w/ Tiffany vs. United States Champion Kofi KingstonRaw opened with a fantastic match this week. These three went all out and put on a good show. It began with a three way standoff and Spears showed that he was the best of the three on the mat. Kofi and Bourne adjusted and took to the skies. Each man hit their key spots, like Kofi’s double leg drop, Bourne’s diving knee drop & Spears’ hangman’s neck breaker. Each got a two count with those moves. The finish came after Spears nailed Kofi with a superplex, only to have Bourne drop kick him as he got up. He climbed to the top and finished off Spears with the Shooting Star Press. Winner: Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne (8:54) ***½After the match, the three competitors all shook hands in the middle of the ring.
In the back, all four General Managers are shown in an office. They are talking about tonight’s events, when there was a knock at the door. They all turned and in walked Edge. Vickie got excited but Stephanie screamed at him and demanded to know why he was there if he was suspended. Edge told her not to get her panties in a knot and that he’s here because Stephanie suspended him from Smackdown, not Raw. He tells her to relax and that he’s just here to watch the festivities. Stephanie looks pissed off at this, but can’t find a way out of it and just accepts it.Commercial Break. When we return, we are joined by World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton. He begins to cut a very serious promo about tonight’s main event. He says that normally, he wouldn’t take a non-title match too seriously. Especially one so close to a major title defense like the one he has at The Bash. But tonight is special. Tonight, he gets to go out and prove to the entire world that he is the best Champion that the WWE has to offer. After winning tonight and at The Bash, he truly will go down in history as the greatest Champion in WWE history. He is cut off by WWE Champion John Cena. Cena tells Orton that he won’t be winning tonight’s main event because Cena himself is in it and Orton has always had trouble beating him. Orton reminds him that he was the man that he took the World Championship from. Cena reminds him that he had help at WrestleMania XXV and that in their rematch at Backlash, he won by disqualification only. ECW Champion, Mr. Kennedy cuts them off and gets in the ring. He starts to tell them that they better not forget that it’s a Triple Threat match tonight. If they underestimate him or the ECW Title then they will be sadly mistaken and they will watch him leave as the Champion of all Champions. Orton seemed to have enough of this and nailed Kennedy with his belt. He went to hit Cena, but he ducked and they began to trade fists in the ring. Cena got the better and knocked him to the outside. Orton retreated up the ramp slowly and when Cena went to help Kennedy up, but was met with a Mic Check as we headed to commercial. Commercial Break.
Singles Match Jeff Hardy vs. Kevin Thorn w/ The BroodFormer Brood member Jeff Hardy takes on current Brood leader, Kevin Thorn in this one. Thorn came out aggressively, trying to prove that he was in Jeff’s league. He pummeled him with shots in the corner until Jeff ducked one and then fired away at him. After that came some good back and forth action until Thorn hit a spine buster. He called for the finish, but Jeff wriggled free of the Original Sin and nailed him with the Twist of Fate. He went for the cover, but suddenly Umaga’s theme began to play. Jeff looked up the ramp and got distracted by it. Gangrel tossed in his goblet and when Umaga never showed up, Jeff turned to Thorn and was laid out by it. The referee saw none of this and that allowed Thorn to pick up the win. Winner: Kevin Thorn (8:34) ***The Brood celebrated this huge victory for their leader as he picks up some steam heading into his ECW Title match at The Bash!Commercial Break. We return to see CM Punk enter the General Manager’s office. He tells them that Raw is a former home of his and he’d like to have a match tonight. Before anybody can answer, Eric Bischoff steps in and asks him if he would consider returning to Raw. Punk appreciates the offer, but he does have a World Title match coming up over on Smackdown. Bischoff doesn’t like being told no, so he books Punk vs. Triple H tonight! After Punk leaves, Stephanie and Vickie begin to argue with Eric about trying to take a Smackdown superstar.Tag Team Match Big Show & MVP w/ Eve vs. John “Bradshaw” Layfield & Shelton Benjamin w/ The CabinetShelton did his best to stay out of the ring whenever Show was in there and while it was cowardly, it made for a better match. He and MVP, as usual, were excellent in the ring against each other and have great chemistry. JBL and Shelton took turns beating on him, until he tagged in the Big Show. Show came in and finally got his hands on Shelton, who he hit with some big chops in the corner and a huge back breaker. Then, JBL went to nail him, but once he turned Show around he was met with a knockout punch to the face to end it. Winners: Big Show and MVP (7:51) **¾After the match, the other members of the Cabinet pulled MVP out of the ring and began to beat on him. Braddock nailed him with a stiff lariat but Show went outside and ran them off.Commercial Break. In the back, we see MVP and Eve enter the General Manager’s office. MVP tells Eric Bischoff that he wants a piece of JBL and he wants it at The Bash. Bischoff tells him that it sounds like it would be an excellent addition to the show and agrees.Non-Title Divas Match Women’s Champion Katie Lea Burchill w/ Layla London vs. Divas Champion Natalya NeidhartThe crowd was having trouble picking a side here as both Divas are heels. Besides that though, the match itself was very good. These are two of the most talented women on the roster. It was even throughout until Natalya took control with huge power slam. Katie Lea kicked out though, and at that point Gail Kim came running down. She got into a fist fight with Natalya and out came Melina and Mickie James, who began to brawl with Katie Lea. No Contest (5:46) **¼The five women continued to brawl until Michelle McCool came out and got involved as well. Finally, Beth Phoenix made her way out and cleaned house of all the Divas except for Natalya. They’ve teamed up before and got into a stare down in the middle of the ring. Beth then attacked her and knocked her to the outside.
We are now shown Dolph Ziggler and The Miz in the back with Alicia Fox. The Miz says that he’s the Real Deal Sex Appeal, and yet he doesn’t have a pretty lady on his arm. He says he’s on a quest to find one.Commercial Break.
Singles Match CM Punk vs. Triple HAs expected, this first time ever match stole the show tonight. Triple H has been on his game, no pun intended, ever since his heel turn and he was really on tonight. He worked Punk’s neck throughout the match until the Straight Edged superstar made a comeback after hitting HHH with a flurry of slaps and kicks. Punk then tossed him into the corner and hit him with his knee strike/bulldog combination. He only got a two count though. He picked up HHH for the GTS, but he elbowed his way out of it. He then set him up for the Pedigree, but Punk blocked it and hoisted him up for the GTS again. He nailed it this time. Before he could get the cover though Randy Orton ran out. When Punk went to cover, Orton snuck in and punted him in the head to cause the DQ. Winner by DQ: CM Punk (14:02) ****The crowd and announcers were stunned at Orton’s actions as Punk lay there lifeless. Triple H rolled out of the ring and went to leave but Batista’s theme music hit. He came out and went after Triple H, but he ran away through the crowd. Orton stood in the ring staring down at Punk.Commercial Break. We return to see Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero arguing about what Orton just did. Vickie says that Punk deserved it, and Stephanie says that he just may have ruined Smackdown’s main event for The Bash. Vickie says that she could always have Edge take his place. Edge likes the sound of it, but Stephanie shoots it down quickly. Non-Title Tag Team Match World Tag Team Champions Legacy w/ Ted Dibiase Jr. vs. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart FoundationMuch like the Women’s match earlier, the crowd wasn’t sure who to side with in this heel/heel battle. They seemed to rally behind the Foundation though. They looked like the better team throughout, although the match was kept rather short. In the end, TJ Wilson got the win for his team after a springboard elbow. The crowd wasn’t into it and didn’t like the abrupt, clean finish. Winners: WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart Foundation (6:26) **½We now see the three heavyweight Champions walking on a triple split screen as the main event is up next!Commercial Break.
Non-Title Triple Threat Match WWE Champion John Cena vs. ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy vs. World Heavyweight Champion Randy OrtonThis turned out to be a great main event as all three champions were on their game tonight and out to prove who truly is the best. It got plenty of time and had a commercial break midway. When it returned from commercial, Orton had Kennedy in a headlock and Cena was hurt on the outside. He continued to work over Kennedy until a hip toss got the ECW Champion the upper hand. He was on fire and hit Orton with the Green Bay Plunge. At that point, Cena got back in the ring and hit Kennedy with a shoulder block. He then hit a belly to back suplex and the Five Knuckle Shuffle. He was setting up for the FU, but Orton ran from behind and knocked him to the outside. He then stalked Kennedy as he got up and drilled him with an RKO. Winner: World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton (16:39) ***½The crowd hated Orton picking up the victory here and he slithered out of the ring as Cena got back in. Orton has taken out his opponent for The Bash and beat the WWE and ECW Champion in one night!© WWE 2009

- Bourne over is great, maybe a little more detail in this one would've been great. - Nice segment with the Champs, surprised to see Kennedy give Cena a Mic Check. - Thorn over is good and it doesnt make Hardy look weak. - Punk vs Trips should be great. - Show and MVP over is cool, not sure on a face Show. - Divas match seemed good, glad neither went over. - Triple H vs Punk was great as expected. Orton punting Punk is cool, but punt are ment to put Superstars out for months. - Glad the Harts went over, Clearly the better team. - Ace Main Event, given enough time, and a great result, made Kennedy look like a legit main eventer.
Overall great show, I want to see JBL vs MVP at the bash!

huge triple threat for the 3 hour raw! should be good. Very interesting triple threat to start us off; glad to see Bourne get the victory. btw, I love the announce team choice definitely! Excellent Edge segment! It would be excellent to see Kennedy get a victory tonight man. Ah, good to see Thorn beat Hardy; give Thorn the belt ! Punk/Triple H is off the hook! Hooray for Big Show/MVP win; glad to see them beat the Cabinet as I am not a fan of the Cabinet. BIG DIVA BRAWL = HAPPY GUY! Now only if they were naked man...Holy PUNT Batman! Interesting twist on things; will he be able to compete now? Good thing the better tag team won here; love the NHF. Wow, Orton winning is what I saw, but I wanted Kennedy here haha. Nice ending to a great Raw man!

WWE RAW: Monday 13th July 2009...Great way to kick off WWE RAW this week, with a triple threat match contesting the three undercard championships on all three brands, but Evan Bourne of RAW beating Kofi Kingston and Gavin Spears is about right and good. But problem is, all three men are faces, which I am unsure about. Edge returning is sweet, he should turn face in my mind. Actually good to have that big promo with the World Heavyweight Champion, WWE Champion and ECW Champion to set up for the big match in the main event between Randy Orton, John Cena and Mr Kennedy. Hehe, old-school Brood against new-school Brood, good that Kein Thorn picked up the win, just think it may of damaged Jeff Hardy a tiny bit, really. But then again, Umaga's distraction was nice. Solid tag team match there, with Big Show and Montel Vontavious Porter going over John Bradshaw Layfield and Shetlon Benjamin, that would of been a filler in my eyes, though. Katie-Lea Burchill and Natalya Neidhart facing off is okay, actually the highest rated match I've seen in a long time, haha. Don't like that it was heel vs heel, sure, one of these matches is fine, but it should only occur once, in my opinion. CM Punk beating Triple H even by disqualification would never happen, but Randy Orton's interference is fine I suppose. Ugh, heels vs heels in the WWE Tag Team Champion vs World Tag Team Championships match, New Hart Foundation beating Legacy I'm not a fan of, as Legacy seriously needs to step up somehow. Great main event with the three main event champions colliding, glad that Randy Orton picked up the win actually. Good show overall, but in my mind could of used one more match and there was also some things I don't quite agree with.

I know this isn't a big reply but Congrats on the 40 page diary. I regret not following this Same here, its truley and amazing diary with so much time put into it from the write up, colours, hyperlinks and pictures. An iron man match between Orton and Punk would be epically good, its strange to see two ex-WWE'ers fighting it out over the ECW title but I'm hoping that Ken wins or if he loses he'll move onto better things, still not a fan of the cabinet sorry but I am of the Brood and I'm so glad you didn't just push Black to the moon like many (including me) would do, good luck and I would say cheers to another 40 pages but I doubt that...well

July 14th, 2009 Edition-The reason for Victoria not being included in The Bash's Divas Battle Royal is because she has officially announced her retirement. Her final match was the Fatal Four Way Women's Title match at Night of Champions and she's satisfied with how she went out. -The poster for Unforgiven has officially been made, but like the one for SummerSlam, it won't be released to the public for spoiler reasons. The poster is said to focus on the World Heavyweight Title Scramble Match, which will main event the card. -Kevin Thorn surprised many people with his major victory over Jeff Hardy last night on Raw. The reason for that is because it makes Thorn look legit and gives him momentum going into his ECW Title match at The Bash. -So far, Kaval has gotten good reactions from the crowd and it is expected that he could grab an Intercontinental Championship run late in the year.

It's been a long ass time since I've checked out this diary. I totally love that you brought back Kevin Thorn and I'm really hoping you put the ECW title on him. Punk Vs. Orton in an Ironman Match should be really cool too.
