Tremendous way to open the show. Three of the company's best young talent. Thorn winning over Jeff is fine since Thorn has been pushed greatly in this sim. Face Big Show is fine by me. Just aslong as you push him as a monster heel soon. Shocked that Punk/HHH was lower than the tag match, but it's fine by me since how earlier the WWE Title match was at Night of Champions last night. I was surprised it was so early on. Main event was solid. Kennedy taking the pinfall was the correct decision since the ECW Title isn't as prestigious as the WWE and WHC.

I love the opening contest and it is a terrific tri-branded match. I love that Evan Bourne was able to secure the victory. I love Edge finding the loophole in his suspension. I love the Randy Orton, John Cena and Mr. Kennedy segment. Their match alter should be good. A highly shocking victory for Kevin Thorne over Jeff Hardy. C.M Punk versus triple H should be a great match. I was kind of pulling for JBL and Shelton Benjamin to pull out with the victory; however, The Big Show and MVP winning is good. I love the no contest finish to the divas match. C.M Punk winning via disqualification was smart booking. I love Orton attacking Punk and Batista chasing off Triple H. The New Hart Foundation winning was brilliant. Randy Orton winning was brilliant and the right choice.

ECW 7/14/09 Preview
-Tonight we will witness the present taking on the future. Last week, Tyler Black of The Brood challenged ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy to a match. Kennedy accepted to get him prepared to face the leader of The Brood, Kevin Thorn at The Bash. Tonight, can the ECW Champion hold off the rising star? Black has certainly impressed fans, but can he finally impress Kevin Thorn and his Brood mates?
-A few weeks back an alliance seemed to have formed between Mark Henry and Ezekiel Jackson. Then, Jackson turned his back on Henry saying that his time to shine alone is now. Henry made a shocking return two weeks ago and has battled with Jackson since then. Tonight will mark their first official in ring meeting between these two monsters. What will go down when they meet? Can a ring hold these two beasts?
-Also last week, The All-American American Jack Swagger made his claim for a run at the ECW Championship. He went on to defeat DJ Gabriel and this week he takes on one of ECW's newest Superstars, Sheamus O'Shaunessy. Despite Sheamus' recent success in tag team action with his uncle, Finlay, he is out to prove that he can handle himself in singles action. Swagger meanwhile, looks to dominate on his way to the top.
Look for all of this and more tonight on the Sci-Fi Network at 9:00PM!

- Liked the opening contest with three young champions doing battle. Bourne going over was the right call as he has the most skill in my opinion. - Happy to see Kennedy standing stall out of that segment involving the champs. - a huge win for Thorne. Nice to see that. - Tag match was solid but nothing too special. - The finish to Punk/HHH was fine. Orton has the advantage after that punt, so if Punk where to win at the PPV, that would be impressive. - Harts going over was good. - I would have loved to see Kennedy go over, but Orton is better than Cena going over so I can’t complain.

July 14th, 2009 Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey Attendance: 17,040
ECW kicks off with a promo highlighting Kevin Thorn winning the Fatal Four Way match last week to determine a new number one contender for Mr. Kennedy’s ECW Championship. It then shows Thorn defeat Jeff Hardy last night, Kennedy’s involvement in last night’s main event against John Cena & Randy Orton. The video ends with Tyler Black’s challenge to Mr. Kennedy last week. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to an extreme edition of ECW. They hype up tonight’s main event pitting ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy against the up and coming Tyler Black. Plus we will see the battle of the behemoths when Mark Henry takes on Ezekiel Jackson! We are welcomed by The Brood to open the show. Thorn, whose mic skills have greatly improved over time, says that in less than two weeks he will win the ECW Title and his mission will be complete. He and the Brood will completely run ECW and officially take it over. Before he can finish, he is cut off by Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy says that Thorn is sadly mistaken if he believes the era of Kennedy will be over so soon. He says that it’s only beginning and that he plans on dominating ECW for a long time. Thorn went to say something back, but Black took the microphone from him and promised to shut up Kennedy tonight. Kennedy laughed it off and promises to get the last laugh. Thorn looked upset with Black for taking the microphone. Commercial Break. We return to see Elijah Burke in the back. He has his trademark towel in his hand and he’s standing in a boxing ring. He said that he shouldn’t have been in last week’s Fatal Four way match because as the former Champion he is guaranteed a rematch. He says he will evoke that rematch clause the Tuesday night after The Bash against whoever the Champion is. In the mean time, he will be training to get better. Or as he put it, he’s training to get better, if that’s even possible.Singles Match Sheamus O’ Shaunessy w/ Finlay & Hornswoggle vs. Jack SwaggerSheamus showed potential here as he managed to hang tough with Swagger. He used his power to have the upper hand early on, but a rake to the eyes turned the match around in Swagger’s favor. He would then connect with some shoulder thrusts in the corner and after a few; he finished it off with a gutwrench power bomb onto the big man. Winner: Jack Swagger (7:07) **¼The cameras go to the back where we see Theodore Long in his office. He looks directly into the camera and tells the audience that he has loved everything about the Television Title division since its inception back in February. He’s going to make it more intriguing next week, when we will see a first on WWE TV. There will be a number one contender’s match for the TV Title and that match will be an Extreme Rules 10 Minutes Time Limit Scramble Match featuring five of ECW’s brightest stars. It will include Dolph Ziggler, Tyler Black, Hade Vansen, The Hurricane and DJ Gabriel! Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Dolph Ziggler & The Miz w/ Alicia Fox vs. DJ Gabriel & The HurricaneBefore the match, it was clear that Miz was upset with Ziggler that he wasn’t selected for next week’s Scramble Match and he was. Onto the match though, it was a solid preview of sorts for that match next week and Ziggler and Miz worked as a great team again. Miz put away Gabriel with the Reality Check as Ziggler kept Hurricane at bay. Winners: Dolph Ziggler & The Miz (6:28) **½Josh Matthews is standing by with Finlay and Sheamus after Sheamus’ loss earlier. Finlay says that Sheamus will brush that off for now because they have something else on their mind. This Friday they are coming to Smackdown, and they want those WWE Tag Team Championships!Commercial Break. We return to see a promo hyping up the return of Rey Mysterio! He’s been out of action since June 15th but will be returning in a few short weeks!Singles Match Ezekiel Jackson vs. Mark HenryAs expected, this wasn’t the most impressive match in ring wise, but it kept the crowd involved. It began with each man trying to overpower the other and it was very even throughout. After some back and forth action, Jackson seemed to have the win in hand, but Henry kicked out of the Uranagi. That left Jackson in shock and he hit him with another but again Henry got a shoulder up. That caused Jackson to get mad at the referee and nail him with one, getting disqualified. Winner by DQ: Mark Henry (6:51) **After the match, Henry got up and nailed Jackson with the World’s Strongest Slam and he stood tall to the crowd’s delight.
Then we cut to see Mr. Kennedy and Tyler Black walking to the ring area on a split screen as our main event is next! Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy vs. Tyler BlackSurprisingly, Black was out there alone without the rest of the Brood. Black continues to impress and put on another great match here. He came out hot and had the early advantage. After stomping the ground to get the crowd involved, a rarity for a heel, he charged at Kennedy and nailed him with a running forearm. They battled back and forth until Black nailed him with a stiff super kick to the face, but he only got a two count. He then hit God’s Last Gift, only to have Kennedy somehow manage to kick out. Black was in shock and the crowd was really into it. He picked up Kennedy and hit the turnbuckle power bomb. He went for the cover, but Kennedy wrapped him in a small package for a two count. When they got up, Kennedy ducked a punch and nailed him with the Mic Check for the victory. Winner: ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy (10:28) ***¼After the match, Kennedy offered his hand to Black, who really has the crowd behind him with his style of wrestling. Black is very hesitant, but gives a quick handshake, so quick it was basically just a smack. Kennedy posed with the title as the show went off the air.© WWE 2009

The opening contest was solid and a tremendous way to set up Ken Kennedy versus Tyler Black. I love Elijah Burke using his rematch clause after The Bash Sheamus O’ Shaunessy versus Jack Swagger sounds like a great match up. Either man could have used the solid victory but Jack Swagger winning makes more sense. The Extreme Rules 10 Minutes Time Limit Scramble Match should be intense, but will be a clutter. I am pulling for Dolph Ziggler to win. I love Dolph Ziggler and The Miz pulling through with the victory over The Hurricane and DJ Gabriel. Finlay and Sheamus aiming for the tag titles is brilliant. Mark Henry winning his match against Jackson via disqualification is great. Main event was terrific and obviously Kennedy winning makes sense.

Kennedy/Black should be tight man. Some conflict within the brood I see with Black/Thorn. Solid action opener with Swagger going over Sheamus. Don't see the potential in the really really white Finlay. Nice match set up for next week man! Damn, I wanted to see Gabriel/Hurricane get the win. I'm okay with it as long as Dolph keeps winning! Henry over in a DQ makes sense to further these bouts. Woah, Black taking the handshake was really unexpected. Definitely something going on in the Brood. Decent ECW my friend!

Nice opening and begins tension between Thorn and Black is great maybe for an eventual split, SOS doing well against Swagger was nice, hopefully he gets a nice push in the future just not too fast, Swagger needs to be in the ME scene in my opinion, Scramble match is awsome might be a great way to put the title on Black but it may be too early up to you, I wouldn't have put SOS in a earler match if he was building up for the tag title, good that the Henry/zeke feud continues I like Henry as face, ME was everything I expected good job, BUCKLE BOMB FTW! so glad you included that, the Black turn continues, nice show keep this up!

Smackdown 7/17/09 Preview-This past Monday on Raw, World Champion Randy Orton viciously punted CM Punk in the skull. We are just over a week away from their huge Ironman Match at The Bash. We will have an update on Punk's condition, but Orton will be in action. He will face the "World's Largest Athlete" Big Show in a non-title match. Can Show pick up his biggest win since his return? Or can the One Man Dynasty continue his reign of terror? -Two weeks ago, Chris Jericho assaulted The Undertaker's leg with a steel chair. The Undertaker hasn't been seen since and tonight, Jericho has promised to hold a funeral for 'Taker's career. Jericho claims to have ended the near two decade run of the Phenom, and he just may be right. Will Jericho's funeral be for real? Or will The Deadman rise again? -At The Bash, Jeff Hardy is set to face off against The Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga. Meanwhile, The New Hart Foundation have staked their claim for a shot at singles gold to go along with their WWE Tag Team Championships. Tonight, we will witness, for the first time ever, Jeff Hardy taking on TJ Wilson! Can Wilson get a win in his push for a title shot? Will Jeff gain more momentum heading into his clash with Umaga at The Bash? What part will ECW's Finlay & Sheamus play, as they have promised to visit Smackdown with the WWE Tag Team Titles on their mind? Find out all of this and a whole lot more by tuning into MyNetwork TV tonight at 8:00PM!

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 14th July, 2009…Decent way to start off this edition of ECW with The Brood starting things off, I like that Kevin Thorn’s microphone skills and charisma have fixed up in the past few months on the ECW brand. Liked Mr Kennedy coming out and saying that wouldn’t happen, and he should have a beast of a match with Tyler Black. Was surprised to see Sheamus O’Shaunessy lose to Jack Swagger, but I’m glad seeing Swagger gradually regaining moment from the past. Hmm, poor Hurricane, he’s trapped in a dead-end team with DJ Gabriel, whom I hate. Please push Hurricane, he’s wasted here. Dolph Ziggler and The Miz on the other hand are a good combination, should hopefully get a WWE Tag Team Championships reign in the next year. Mark Henry beating Ezekiel Jackson is okay, not the best match, really. A lacklustre match here. Win for Mr Kennedy in the main event was predictable, but would have been a good main event. Decent show overall, just lacking a little bit.

-Nice begging with the Brood. I liked it when Black took the mic from Thorn. -That Burke promo was ace. - Swagger over is good as I hate Sheamus tbh. - That Scramble should be at the Bash IMO but it should be great. - Mizgler winning is great and the right decision. - Zeke vs Henry wouldve been boring but it was a well booked match. - Kennedy winning was the right descision, I wasn't sure of Kennedy as ECW Champion at first for some reason but now he really feels like the face of ECW.
GREAT SHOW DUDE!

July 17th, 2009 Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey Attendance: 17,040
Smackdown opens with a video package showing CM Punk announce that the stipulation he chose for his World Title match at The Bash was an Ironman Match. It then shows World Champion Randy Orton pin him in last week’s tag team main event. Next it cuts to what happened on Raw this past week, when Orton punted Punk in the head during Punk’s match with Triple H.[ALL SUPERSTARS' NAMES ARE STILL CLICKABLE AND WILL LINK YOU TO THEIR TITANTRON/THEME MUSIC]Jim Ross and Tazz welcome us to tonight’s edition of Smackdown. They tell us that we will have an update on CM Punk, who suffered a concussion at the hands of a Randy Orton punt last week. They also hype up tonight’s main event, a non title match between Randy Orton and the Big Show and Chris Jericho has promised a funeral for The Undertaker’s career. Singles Match Jeff Hardy vs. TJ Wilson w/ Harry Smith and Divas Champion Natalya NeidhartThis is quite possibly the best match on Smackdown in the last few weeks, just as good as Jeff’s match with Punk in the finals of the Gold Rush tournament. This was part of the New Hart Foundation’s push for some singles gold. He started out by working Jeff over on the mat. Wilson held the advantage there until Jeff hit a Whisper in the Wind for a two count. He threw him into the corner but Wilson ducked a punch and then delivered some chops. He nailed a suplex and hit his springboard elbow, yet only got a two count. He then went to lock on the Sharpshooter but Jeff kicks him off into the corner. He nailed the Hardyac Arrest dropkick and eventually finished it off with the Swanton Bomb. Winner: Jeff Hardy (10:17) ****Jeff Hardy offered TJ Wilson his hand in appreciation for the great match, but Wilson would not accept it.Commercial Break. We return to see The New Hart Foundation walking up the ramp after Wilson’s defeat. Finlay & Sheamus’ theme hit as the ECW tandem came down. They stared down the WWE Tag Team Champions before hitting the ring.Tag Team Match Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder vs. Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy w/ HornswoggleFinlay and Sheamus basically squashed Hawkins & Ryder here, as this was put on the card to get the Irishmen over as legit contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. After Sheamus dominated with his power, Finlay nailed a few moves before putting away Hawkins with the Celtic Cross. Winners: Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy (4:46) **The cameras cut to the back, where we see Shelton Benjamin walking towards the arena with his golden briefcase in hand.Commercial Break.Shelton Benjamin’s theme hit as Mr. Money in the Bank made his way to the ring. He gets on the microphone and begins to talk about how Big Show has been a thorn in his side ever since he returned. He thinks he can run around and be a big shot just because he’s seven feet tall. Benjamin says that he has called the shots around here ever since he won Money in the Bank at WrestleMania. He is cut off by Stephanie McMahon, who comes and says that she calls the shots around here, not him. Since Benjamin thinks he’s such a big shot he shouldn’t mind having a match at The Bash. Benjamin says he can take out any chump on the Smackdown roster. She says that’s good because he’ll be going one on one with the Big Show! Benjamin’s smile is wiped away as he looks very nervous. Commercial Break.
Non-Title Singles Match Chavo Guerrero vs. United States Champion Kofi KingstonLast week, Vickie mentioned that she wanted her nephew Chavo to get involved in the US Title scene and a win over the current champion would surely secure him a title shot. It was not to be though because Kofi beat him rather easily despite an early barrage from Chavo. In the end, Kofi hit him with Trouble in Paradise to get the victory. Winner: United States Champion Kofi Kingston (5:50) **½As Kofi’s celebrating his victory, John Morrison’s face comes out on the titantron. He tells Kofi that The Shaman of Sexy is coming for the United States Championship and that he will add to the legacy of the Guru of Greatness.Commercial Break. We return and see an ad for The Bash, focusing on Smackdown’s main event, an Ironman match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Next, we go to the General Managers’ office where Vickie Guerrero is telling Stephanie that Chavo wasn’t fully warmed up and prepared for his match tonight. Stephanie says that she wants no excuses and gave Chavo a fair chance. Big Show walks in and gives Vickie a disgusted look. She just stares him down and he goes to Stephanie and thanks her for making his match with Shelton at The Bash so he can teach him a lesson in respect.
Lastly, we see The Brian Kendrick in the back. He tells everybody that they better not have forgotten that he’s around. He says that he has kicked Lawrence Knight to the curb and is now going to venture out on his own. He promises to continue to make an impact on Smackdown and nobody will stop him.Commercial Break.
Six Divas Tag Team Match Gail Kim, Michelle McCool & Maria vs. Jillian Hall, Divas Champion Natalya Neidhart & MaryseAs expected, this was a preview of the upcoming Divas battle royal at The Bash, although Natalya will not be a part of that. Natalya dominated the early stages until Kim came in and bested her. When Natalya went to tag out, Jillian and Maryse stepped off the apron. All the Smackdown divas are still upset over Natalya’s dominace of them a few weeks ago. The three on one odds were too much and Kim put away Natalya with the Happy Ending. Winners: Gail Kim, Michelle McCool & Maria (5:06) **We now see Big Show and Randy Orton walking to the ring on a split screen as our main event is up next. Before we go to commercial though, we are given an update on CM Punk’s condition. It is announced that he has suffered a concussion but will return next week on Smackdown and in time for his Ironman match at The Bash.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Singles Match Big Show vs. World Heavyweight Champion Randy OrtonThis turned into a decent main event as Show looked better than he has since his return and seemed to have shaken off the ring rust. As one would expect, Show used his strength to dominate the start, but Orton used his maniacal tactics to take over. He wore down Show with some rest holds and then his trademark rope hung DDT for a two count. He then stalked the big man for the RKO, but Show pushed him off and then started to turn the tide. He then hit a back breaker, sidewalk slam and finally, his Cobra Clutch back breaker. He only got a two count though. He went for the Chokeslam, but Orton wriggled free and left the ring. He grabbed his belt and walked away up the ramp, allowing himself to be counted out. Winner by Count Out: Big Show (10:05) ***Show and the crowd looked on confused, but the announced hinted that this match was tough for Orton and he seemed to want the easy way out before his big match at The Bash.Commercial Break. When the cameras return we see the ring set up like a funeral, much like it was back when The Rock held one for Steve Austin. Jericho makes his way to the ring in a suit. He gets in the ring and begins to talk about how he effectively ended the career of The Undertaker by taking out the Deadman’s legs a few weeks back. He shows us the footage of that moment. He says that he is officially the holder of the Decade of Destruction title and that he defeated the Deadman without ever actually facing him in a match. Now that he’s done with ‘Taker, he can focus on the World Heavyweight Title, which was his other goal. Jericho then says that he wants a ten bell salute for The Undertaker. On the eighth bell the lights go out and a gong is heard. Undertaker’s voice is heard and he tells Jericho that nobody can send him to a funeral as you cannot kill what is already dead. He then tells Jericho that he will see him at The Bash. The lights come back on and the casket in the ring is open. Jericho is in shock as he looks at the titantron, while in the casket, the Undertaker sits up! He was in there the entire time. He gets out and Jericho turns around right into him. ‘Taker grabs him for a chokeslam, but Jericho gets out and scrambles away up the ramp. ‘Taker does the throat cut sign as we go off the air. © WWE 2009 [/center]

Very good opener between two guys that I think would have some chemistry. Rather see Smith win though. Nice squash for the Irishmen and that tag match should be excellent. Benjamin/Big Show at the Bash should be good mannn. Glad to see Kofi go over in some non-title action definitely. meh, 6 diva tag is alright, faces getting the win is good. Not my favorite of the night though. Orton countout is alright, good to see Show win then. Excellent ending to SD definitely, as Taker getting some momentum now. Loved the 10 bell salute also. Nice touch.
Good stuff.

The opening match was really solid, Kev. I know it doesn't mean much but it's some what akward seeing Jeff Hardy with the WWE title for so long then opening the show, but hey, a solid match none the less. Loving the team of Finlay and Sheamus, that theme is kick ass. Glad to see the Irish go over Hawkins n Ryder. A squash doesn't sound to great but it does put Finlay and Sheamus over. Diva's match was what it was, there has to be one on the card somewhere. Kingston vs Chavo comes across as a great match, Kingston winning makes sense. The countout finish in the main event works for Orton, especially because he was facing The Big Show. Benjamin/Big Show is a solid match for The Bash but Shelton really has to go over if he's the Money in the Bank holder. The closing segment was awesome, loved it. Taker sitting up from the coffin then trying the chokeslam was totaly him. Great finish to the show.

Smackdown…July 17th, 2009. Tonight’s event is taking place in my neck of the woods so let’s hope it is a good one. The opening contest involving Jeff Hardy and TJ Wilson was immense. I would have marked for TY Wilson to pull through with a victory but that would have been poor booking. I do love TJ Wilson refusing to shake Jeff Hardy’s hand. Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy staring down The Hart Foundation was great and their victory over Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins was brilliant. Shelton Benjamin getting a push is still great and his match against the Big Show will be rough. Kofi Kingston defeating Chavo Guerrero was obviously the right call. I hope Brian Kendrick does get a solid push. I love The Big Show defeating Randy Orton via countout as it displays smart booking. I find the closing segment was too predictable, but still solid.

- Jeff going over is obvious but I have mixed feeling about having him in the opener. - Hawkins and Ryder need to do something because I can not stand them being squashed. - Benjamin vs Big Show was a good call for the bash. Benjamin needs to be on PPV. - Kofi going over is awesome. - If Morrison takes the belt that would be awesome. - I hope Kendrick does something useful - Im face went over, Kim getting the pin on Natalya is surprising. - Big Show vs Orton was ok,I don't like the ending but it makes sense. - The Funeral was awesome, Taker being in the casket the whole time was awesome aswell.

this is still going great, that was a typical classic segment with Taker at the end of Smackdown. I'm actually hoping Jericho beats him at the Bash, then they have a rematch at SummerSlam in a gimmick match of some sort. I like how your actually using the tag team division to good effect, and the team of Finlay and Sheamus is great. I hope you do good things with Kendrick and don't release him like the WWE did lol. I gotta say, if Orton doesn't win i riot! keep it up.

Raw 7/20/09 Preview
-Just six days away from The Bash Pay-Per-View and WWE Champion John Cena has to defend his title. Before facing Triple H & Batista in a Triple Threat match, he must face the man who pinned him in a tag team match two weeks ago, Cody Rhodes. The "Prince of Pro Wrestling" is one half of the World Tag Team Champions, but has victories over Rey Mysterio and Batista this year and he participated in No Way Out's Elimination Chamber so he's no slouch. Can Cena retain heading into the PPV? Or will Rhodes pick up the biggest upset of the year?
-A huge tag team match has been signed for Raw tonight! Montel Vontavious Porter will team up with "The Animal" Batista to take on John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Triple H. Triple H and Batista have had issues since Batista's return in early June, while MVP & JBL have been at each other's throats as of late. Rumor has it that MVP has asked for a one on one match with JBL at The Bash. Only Eric Bischoff can grant him it. Will he get his wish? And who will come out on top of this major tag match?
-Two weeks ago, Ted Dibiase Jr. defended his Intercontinental Championship against Evan Bourne and dropped the gold. Now, tonight, he gets his rematch as these two meet for the third time. Who will get the tie breaking victory? Will the other members of Legacy get involved in this one?
Tune into the USA Network tonight at 9:00PM for all of this a whole lot more!
