I'm really liking how you are doing this, man. Really organized. Your use of Tyler Black is really good. I hope you gradually push JoMo to the moon, lol. I'll keep replying man.

August 7th, 2009 Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois Attendance: 20,917
Smackdown opens with a video showing Edge, Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy all vying for the shot at CM Punk at SummerSlam. It then shows Punk retain his belt against TJ Wilson in an instant classic.[ALL SUPERSTARS' NAMES ARE STILL CLICKABLE AND WILL LINK YOU TO THEIR TITANTRON/THEME MUSIC]After the opening pyrotechnics display, Jim Ross and Tazz welcome us to tonight’s huge edition of Friday Night Smackdown. They remind us of our huge double main event tonight, which includes CM Punk defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Umaga and Edge going one on one with Jeff Hardy in a WrestleMania XXV rematch, with the winner going on to face CM Punk and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat match at SummerSlam! They also point out that for some peculiar reason, there’s a big Hell in a Cell hanging from atop the arena. We are going to kick things off with a major tag team match.Tag Team Match Big Show & United States Champion Kofi Kingston vs. John Morrison & Shelton BenjaminShow really was the downside of this match as the other three stars kept it at a quick fast paced style. It worked out because Benjamin and Morrison worked over Kofi for the majority of the match. As one would expect, Kofi would manage to turn it around and he did so after jumping clean over Morrison and diving to Show for the tag. He came in and dominated his opponents but eventually Kofi got the tag back in. He nailed Benjamin with Trouble in Paradise but Morrison had blind tagged in. Kofi went to cover Shelton, but Morrison kicked him in the head and nailed the Moonlight Drive for the win. Winners: John Morrison & Shelton Benjamin (10:51) **¾The announcers put over how has just pinned the United States Champion in the middle of this ring. Benjamin got up and got his briefcase. He went to attack Show with it, but he was ready and he caught Benjamin with a stiff knockout punch to the jaw.Commercial Break.Chris Jericho makes his way down the ring as we return from commercial. He begins to talk about last week when The Undertaker got so upset about him speaking the truth that he had to sneak attack him. He says that after beating ‘Taker at The Bash he’s afraid of him. For the first time ever, The Undertaker is afraid of somebody. That’s why he wouldn’t just come after Jericho last week and it’s why he was forced have the lights go out and appear in front of him. He says that The Undertaker can’t stand to face him man to man. A gong goes off and The Undertaker slowly makes his way to the ring. The Hell in a Cell at the top of the arena slowly begins to lower on the ring. ‘Taker gets in and gets right in Jericho’s face. He says he’s never been scared of any man and that won’t change just because he lost a match. He then tells Jericho to prove just how good he is by stepping into Hell in a Cell with him at SummerSlam. Jericho isn’t backing down and tells him that he has nothing left to prove. ‘Taker tells him that he’s going to send him to hell one way or another, either inside this Cell like he did to Edge last year, or right here tonight. Jericho stares a hole through The Undertaker and surprisingly accepts. He tells him that he will officially end it all for him at SummerSlam and tells ‘Taker that he will rest in peace. The lights go out and when they come back on, The Undertaker is gone and Jericho is left standing in the middle of the ring. Commercial Break.
Divas Championship Natalya Neidhart (c) vs. Gail KimThese two have certainly had the best rivalry among divas this year, as they’ve had great matches on Smackdown and a fantastic one at Backlash. This was no different. Kim used her speed advantage early and often to gain a great upper hand. Natalya fought back after hitting a huge power slam, much like the one Harry Smith utilizes. Natalya controlled the rest of the match, until she went to lock in the Sharpshooter. Before she could turn it, Kim wrapped her up into a small package and picked up the huge victory. Winner and NEW Divas Champion: Gail Kim (6:27) **½Kim celebrated with her title as Natalya looked on in horror. She realized that eliminating Kim from The Bash battle royal has backfired on her.
We cut to the back where Vickie Guerrero and Edge are hyping up Umaga. They tell him that he needs to go in there tonight and finally become what he’s destined to be and that’s a champion. Umaga shouts before exiting the room. Vickie then tells Edge that she thinks she can convince Umaga to drop the belt to Edge at SummerSlam if all goes to plan. Edge likes this and they kiss.Commercial Break.
Singles Match; Final Spot in SummerSlam World Title Match on the Line Edge vs. Jeff HardyOf course, this was nowhere near as good as their WrestleMania XXV encounter where they got almost twenty minutes but it was still probably the best match of the night. Edge began by using some shady tactics like raking Jeff in the eyes once he got momentum going. Eventually, their battle spilled to the outside, where Jeff hit a plancha and then ran across the guardrail and splashed Edge. He seemed to have the match well in hand so he rolled Edge back in the ring. They battled some more and when Jeff went for the Whisper in the Winds, Edge somehow caught him with an awesome looking Spear. He covered, but Jeff got his foot on the rope. After some more action, Edge ended up hitting a second Spear, this one while Jeff was on the apron and it sent both men to the outisde. The referee counted to ten before either man could get back in the ring. Double Count Out (13:59) ***½The crowd looked in and wondered what the decision was going to be now that this match ended in a draw.Commercial Break. We return to see Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero arguing over what should be done for SummerSlam. Stephanie seems to want to do something fair, but Vickie just wants to give Edge the shot. They continue to argue as we go to the ring.Fatal Four Way Number One Contender Tag Team Match Carlito & Primo Colon vs. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder vs. Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy w/ Hornswoggle vs. The Second City SaintsWith two wrestlers allowed in the ring at a time, this wasn’t too cluttered. The Saints were very impressive throughout, but surprisingly, Hawkins & Ryder held control as they used great tag team strategy. That all stopped after Hawkins fell victim to a Back Cracker from Carlito, but in the end, it was the fighting Irishmen who prevailed after Finlay nailed Primo with the Celtic Cross for the win. Winners: Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy (9:16) **½The New Hart Foundation is shown watching this on the monitor as they will now face Finlay and Sheamus at SummerSlam in just a few weeks. We then cut to see Josh Matthews standing by with CM Punk. He asks Punk about his upcoming title defense and SummerSlam. Punk says that he has a tough challenge ahead of him tonight but he’s confident that he can beat Umaga. He says that it doesn’t matter what happens in the World Title picture at SummerSlam because he will do everything to keep his title this time around. Commercial Break.
World Heavyweight Championship CM Punk (c) vs. UmagaPunk can have a great match with just about anyone, whether it’s a small superstar like TJ Wilson or a monster like Umaga. Umaga dominated the early stages coming at Punk with everything he’s got. After about six minutes of this, Punk retaliated when he dodged Umaga’s Samoan Wrecking Ball in the corner. He then ran in and hit his trademark knee strike/bulldog combination. The rest of the match was based around Punk not being able to pick up Umaga for the GTS. After two failed GTS attempts, Umaga was back in control. He was set for the Samoan Spike but Punk ducked it, hoisted him up and dropped him with the GTS to retain the title. Winner and Still World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk (14:02) ***¾Punk and the crowd celebrated his huge victory when it’s cut off by the theme music of Stephanie McMahon. She comes to the ramp and announces that she & Vickie have come to an agreement on the SummerSlam main event. It will be CM Punk defending against Randy Orton, Edge and Jeff Hardy in a Fatal Four Way match! Punk smiles at this, when Orton sneaks into the ring behind him. He turns him around for the RKO like last week, but Punk shoved him off. He comes back off the ropes and Punk drills him with a GTS!© WWE 2009

The first tag match sounded really good, nice way to kick off the show. The 'Taker and Jericho segment seemed really good. You capture Jericho's character pretty well. Gail and Natalya seemed like they put on a good match, with a realistic finish. Surprised to see the title change hands on TV. Edge and Hardy put on a great match, the Whisper in the Wind into a spear is ing crazy. Orton getting the GTS in the end makes me wonder how he would sell one in real life. Lol, keep it up, this is good.

I enjoyed reading Smackdown alot. The opening tag match sounded great and was a good way to kick off the show. The Undertaker/Jericho segment went very realistic and I love how you pointed out it was hanging at the top of the arena at the open instead of it just poping up somehow, haha. A title change on TV?! Lovin' that your doing something diffrent and titles change hands on TV. I think the double count out for Edge/Hardy made no sense until later in the show where you made it make sense which is great. Punk beating Umaga is a smart & realistic move and loved the aftermath with Orton attempting an attack but Punk able to get out of it and lay out Orton. Nice change of pace. Loving the card for for SummerSlam. BTW, Kennedy as ECW makes me happy.

The opening tag team match pitting Big Show & United States Champion Kofi Kingston against John Morrison & Shelton Benjamin was different. AS you pointed out, Show would take down this match from how good it could have possibly been. I love John Morrison defeating Kofi Kingston was great. I was surprised to see Undertaker confront Chris Jericho inside a Hell in a Cell. Their match at SummerSlam will easily be match of the night. Gail Kim as Divas Champion works, she is really talented. The double count out to Edge versus Jeff Hardy is interesting and I didn’t see it coming. I wonder what will happen now. I love Finlay & Sheamus O’Shaunessy winning the right to face for the tag championships. C.M Punk retaining the championship against Umaga was expected. The fatal fourway is great and will be amazing. I like Punk drilling Orton with the GTS.

Raw 8/10/09 Preview-Once again, last week's edition of Raw ended in controversy. After MVP defeated Triple H via disqualification, The Game sought to attack him with a sledgehammer. That's when WWE Champion John Cena intervened and saved MVP, only to be raked in the eyes by HHH. With Cena blinded, he grabbed MVP and nailed him with the FU. Once he regained his sight, he knew he made a mistake. Tonight, they team up again, this time along side "The Animal" Batista to take on Triple H, John "Bradshaw" Layfield and Ted Dibiase Jr. Can Cena & MVP co-exist? What will happen when Triple H and Batista step inside of a ring together? -The competition for the Intercontinental Championship is heating up with multiple competitors vying for a shot. Tonight, the three top challengers will face off with the winner getting his shot at SummerSlam against Evan Bourne. Will R-Truth high step his way to Los Angeles with a shot? Can "The Warrior"'s ways lead him to glory? Or will Ryan Braddock's association with The Cabinet lead him to the promised land? -Quite possibly the biggest Women's Championship match this year, will take place at SummerSlam when Katie Lea Burchill defends against Mickie James. Last week, James got a victory over Burchill's associate, Layla London. Tonight, they will team up to face James and another former Women's Champion, Melina! Tune into the USA Network tonight at 9:00PM for all of this and more!

August 10th, 2009 Charles Koch Arena [Wichita States University] in Wichita, Kansas Attendance: 8,888
Raw’s weekly video package kicks off the show as always, this time highlighting last week’s main event between MVP and Triple H. It mainly showed the aftermath where John Cena accidentally nailed MVP with the FU.Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to tonight’s show and pump up the viewers for tonight’s mega main event. Triple H will team with the leader of The Cabinet and the leader of Legacy to take on WWE Champion John Cena, MVP & Batista!MVP’s theme music hits as the number one contender comes down to the ring, accompanied by the lovely Eve Torres and he does not look pleased at all. He gets right on the microphone and begins to talk about last week. He mentions that he was in the middle of a huge match and was set to pin Triple H for the second time this year, only to have him get himself disqualified. While he didn’t like that, he disliked what came next even more. He was hoisted onto John Cena’s shoulders and dropped down with an FU. He calls out Cena to face him, man to man. The WWE Champion obliges and gets right in the ring. Much like MVP told him last week, Cena says that he’s not out here to apologize because he didn’t do anything wrong. He says it was an honest mistake and MVP needs to man up and realize that. MVP tells him that he can chalk up one time to a mistake, but two weeks in a row is hard to believe. Cena gets right in his face and tells him that he’s tired of his accusations and that they may be partners tonight and they may respect each other, but they aren’t friends. MVP says he’s fine with that and he’s sure Cena won’t want to be his friend after he takes the WWE Title at SummerSlam. The two have an epic staredown before we cut to commercial. Commercial Break. When we return, Eric Bischoff is in his office complaining to somebody off camera that his SummerSlam main event just might implode before we get to the big show. The camera pans off to see Val Venis, dressed in casual attire, standing there. He informs Bischoff that it will be ok; they respect each other enough to not let anything happen. Eric hopes he’s right and calls Val Sean. Sean responds by asking if he could please call him Chief Morley once again. Eric says he has to earn the right to be called Chief.Non-Title Match World Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes w/ Joe Henning vs. Intercontinental Champion Evan BourneIt seemed as if Bourne’s mind was on tonight’s number one contender’s match because he just didn’t seem to be ready for Rhodes tonight. Cody had the advantage throughout the contest and used some shady tactics when Bourne seemed like he would possibly get on track. In the end though, Rhodes’ showboating cost him as he posed too long before hitting the Cross Rhodes and Bourne managed to reverse it into a nice looking snap mare driver for the victory. Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne (9:01) ***
Commercial Break. In the back, Rhodes and Henning meet up with Dibiase Jr. Dibiase mentions that Bourne holds a victory over each of them and that’s not acceptable. He promises to prove a point tonight and get the win for his team in tonight’s major main event.Tag Team Match The British Alliance vs. The Technicians w/ Kelly KellyKatie Lea and Layla were absent from ringside, probably getting ready for their match later on. The British Alliance made it clear last week that they wanted the World Tag Team Championship and tonight was their first step in that direction. The Technicians also want to be become two time Champions. As expected, this was a technical clinic and in somewhat of a surprise, Haas made Regal tap out to the Haas of Pain. Winners: The Technicians (6:54) **¾The Technicians just reminded the world that they are still a threat in the tag team division, while the British Alliance stumbles out of the gate in their quest for the gold.
We now see Josh Matthews, who is standing by with the King of Kings, Triple H. He asks him how he feels about causing dissension between Cena and MVP last week. HHH says that wasn’t his plan but it worked out perfectly. He mentions that he proved once again why he is the Cerebral Assassin. He promises to prove it again at SummerSlam, when he takes out Batista, once and for all.Commercial Break. The cameras return and see Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne sitting in his locker room with the title next to him. He’s focused on the monitor as he will be watching the upcoming number one contender’s match for his Championship.
Next, we see Eric Bischoff with Sean Morley in his office, when there’s a knock at the door. WWE Champion John Cena enters and Bischoff tells him that he needs to make sure we don’t see a repeat of last week. He wants to make sure the SummerSlam main event is safe. Cena says he can’t promise anything but he’ll do his best.
Our announce team hypes up SummerSlam, which is in just under two weeks, mainly focusing on the WWE Title match.Commercial Break.
Triple Threat Match; Winner Receives Intercontinental Title Shot at SummerSlam Kaval vs. R-Truth vs. Ryan Braddock w/ Candice MichelleThis was another very good match on tonight’s Raw. As expected, the crowd was behind the faces and Braddock used a lot of heel tactics. He raked eyes, used Candice as a distraction and even hit Truth with a low blow. In the end though, he nailed Truth with a Lariat, but before he could get the cover, Kaval nailed him with the Fisherman Driver. He placed their bodies next to each other, climbed to the top and delivered the Warrior’s Way onto both men. He covered both and got the win. Winner: Kaval (11:11) ***
Commercial Break. When we come back, JBL is scolding Ryan Braddock for his loss as he said he disgraced the name of the Cabinet. He said he’s going to show the world what a member of the Cabinet is supposed to do…and that’s winning, when his team wins the main event.Divas Tag Team Match Women’s Champion Katie Lea Burchill & Layla London vs. Melina & Mickie JamesThis was your basic divas tag match; it was kept short and mainly focused on the Katie Lea/James rivalry. They were the main two getting involved in the action, but in the end, Katie Lea managed to nail Melina with the Hair Pull Back Breaker for the victory. Winners: Women’s Champion Katie Lea Burchill & Layla London (5:03) *¾We cut to see Eric Bischoff again in the back with Sean Morley. Eric thanks him for the idea of the number one contender’s Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Title. He said Kaval vs. Evan Bourne will be an excellent addition to Raw’s side of SummerSlam. Morley tells him that if he keeps him around, he’ll give him more idea like that. Eric likes it and tells him that he’ll give him a shot.
We now see John Cena meet up with Batista in the back as they’re ready for the main event. They meet up with MVP and Eve, but MVP doesn’t even look at them and just walks towards the arena ahead of them.Commercial Break.
Six Man Tag Team Match Batista, WWE Champion John Cena & MVP w/ Eve vs. John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Triple H & Ted Dibiase Jr. w/ Legacy & The CabinetHaving all of those people accompany the heels to the ring was an advantage as they got involved early and often. They would cheat at any and every opportunity that they were given. The heels worked over MVP throughout, but he made the hot tag to Batista, who cleaned house. MVP and Cena weren’t on good terms throughout the match. After Batista cooled off, the match became even and MVP was back in. He threw Dibiase into the corner and ran for his Playa’s Boot, but Dibiase ducked and MVP nailed Cena instead. Dibiase quickly rolled him up with a handful of tights and got the victory. Winners:John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Triple H & Ted Dibiase Jr. (11:42) ***Dibiase and the rest of Legacy got out of the ring quickly and celebrated his huge pinfall victory over the number one contender. Triple H left up the ramp as well and Batista was staring him down, while Cena got up and right into MVP’s face. MVP stayed cool as Cena was upset with him and just said “now you know how it feels.” He walks out of the ring as the show cuts off.© WWE 2009

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 4th August 2009...A fantastic way too open up this edition of ECW, with a rematch from last week. Jack Swagger and Matt Hardy always put on top-calibre matches and this one would of been no exception. Glad Swagger picked up the win, and hopefully he doesn't care for the ECW Television Championship and targets the ECW Championship instead. The Hurricane and Gavin Spears beating Hade Vansen and Tyler Black is surprising, I like that Spears and Hurricane aren't there for enhancement, but I feel since Tyler Black won the title and the Brood are meant to look grand, they should have had this match won. Did like their beatdown afterwards, however. Would of been a weak as hell main event with Ezekiel Jackson and Mark Henry fighting, but the opener and midcard made up for that in my opinion. Nice idea for Mr Kennedy to defend against Elijah Burke and Kevin Thorn, though I see Kennedy or Burke walking out victorious. Good way to end the show, but I wonder where Thorn was. Good show.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 7th August 2009...Aha, good idea to have the World Heavyweight Champion hometown boy, CM Punk defend against Umaga and Edge in his home of Chicago, Illinois. Great opening tag team match with John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin going over Kofi Kingston and Big Show. I can see Morrison becoming WWE United States Champion in time, but to be honest, I don't like Show being in this scene. He should be higher than this. The United States division is mainly for the youthier stars. Show is over enough to work in the main event scene in my opinion. Great announcement for SummerSlam, but this would be the second year in a row in which there was The Undertaker facing a dastardly heel in a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam. Maybe you should have saved HIAC for the feud to progress even more, I can't of seen it being like HIAC worthy after three or four months of buildup. And it seems like Taker will own Chris Jericho; would be amazing to have Jericho go over him, though. Gail Kim winning the WWE Divas Championship is fine, seemed like one of the beter womens matches of the year, just keep Natalya chasing the title or with her nose in. Edge and Jeff Hardy was a great rivalry, but don't like it being given for free on the midcard on cable television. Really think that Sheamus and Finlay winning was pretty bad if honest. Primo and Carlito or Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder or even Second-City Saints would of been preferable. The New Hart Foundation facing Finlay and Sheamus for the WWE Tag Team Championships doesn't cut 'SummerSlam worthy' in my head. Great and predictable defense by fighting champion, CM Punk in our main event. Great idea to have a fatal-four-way match at SummerSlam. A great pulled off show, show of the week again here.
WWE RAW: Monday 10th August 2009...Nice way to open up RAW this week with Montel Vontavious Porter remaining babyface in his feud with John Cena heading into their WWE Championship collision at SummerSlam. I see MVP turning heel tonight though, to be honest. Eve I don't feel MVP needs her anymore. She's pretty useless, just following Porter around when he's charismatic and got the look to do anything he can by himself. Sean Morley is back? Great stuff. Nice win for the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Evan Bourne over Cody Rhodes of Legacy. Please, like I said last week, change Ted Dibiase's future from pointing in the midcard ranks to the uppercard and main event area, as that is what losing the title to Bourne should have led to. The Technicians beating The British Alliance is a tragedy since William Regal and Paul Burchill have been on a roll lately, but the win for Technicians is okay I suppose, as it propells them to a possible future feud aganst Legacy, the World Tag Team Champions. I think Kaval is honestly getting set up for a WWE Intercontinental Championship shot way too soon. Kaval and Evan Bourne would have a good match, but at SummerSlam? I can't see it, and with Kaval being on WWE television for two months makes it more blah. Was a predictable triple threat match anyway, never in a million years could I see Ryan Braddock challenge for that title the way you've used Cabinet. Or R-Truth after his push in the past eight game months. Win for the females of the British Alliance is good, beating Melina and Mickie James is sweet. Sean Morley joining that Kaval/Bourne match makes things a little more acceptable, still not sure as you're using SummerSlam's card almost as though it is an average pay-per-view. Great six-man tag team blowoff to the show, wrapped up three feuds in one. I'd personally love a Legacy vs Cabinet warfare, and that could propell Ted Dibiase and Legacy to higher standards and a big push, if Dibiase feuded a guy like John Bradshaw Layfield. Nice ending with MVP getting his own back on John Cena, even though he didn't physically attack him too heelishly. Good show overall, best this game month so far.

MVP and Cena is a very interesting feud. Bourne and Cody seemed to have a really good match, and the finish seemed great. Loving Bourne with the title. Kaval getting the title shot is amazing, and that is a match that I would definetly want to see. Loving how you are using all the new, young guys. The ending to RAW was really good, it builds the feud up absolutely perfectly. Keep it up, man. Really good diary.

ECW 8/11/09 Preview-The ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy had a rough time last week. After it was announced that he would face Elijah Burke and Kevin Thorn in a Triple Threat match at SummerSlam, he was attacked by Burke. He has his hands full this week as well as he will go one on one with Ezekiel Jackson. Jackson defeated Mark Henry last week in an Extreme Rules match. A win tonight could propel him to an ECW Title shot! -Jack Swagger and Matt Hardy have a rivalry going, with Matt taking the first match and Swagger evening up the score last week. Tonight we will witness the tie breaker. Winning a rivalry against a former ECW Champion will put Swagger into ECW Title contention, which is what he craves. A win for Hardy will show that he's still at the top of the ECW food chain. Who will pull out of the important W? -Also last week, Television Champion Tyler Black and teammate Hade Vansen suffered a tag team loss. After the match, the rest of The Brood joined in and beatdown on Black, effectively kicking him out of the group. We will hear from Black tonight and everybody wants to know what's on his mind! Will he call out The Brood? Or will he go running back to them? Tune into the Sci-Fi Network tonight at 9:00PM for all of this and more!

Let me just say that the SummerSlam card looks great. MVP/Cena sounds good, and i like the 4-way. Tista/HHH and Taker/Jericho makes the undercard super stacked. Raw was good, very solid. Nice to see Kaval take the win in the Triple Threat, also liked the main event, glad the heels took the win. Looking forward to SummerSlam, which should be a great write up.

If you don’t give MVP the title at SummerSlam, I will be done with this diary. Evan Bourne defeating Cody Rhodes makes sense. I love Technicians and The British Alliance is also a great team. You have rebuilt the tag division well and for that I love you.Kaval getting an Intercontinental Title Shot at SummerSlam is great. You have built Kaval up well and I hope he gets the title. Morley sticking around works for me. I love the heels winning the great main event and the altercation between John Cena and MVP was great.

ECW opens with a video package showcasing Ezekiel Jackson’s victory over Mark Henry in an Extreme Rules match last week. Then it shows the announcement that Mr. Kennedy would be defending the ECW Championship at SummerSlam against Elijah Burke and Kevin Thorn in a Triple Threat match! After the opening fireworks display, Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to tonight’s edition of ECW. They promote the non-title main event involving Mr. Kennedy and Ezekiel Jackson, Television Champion Tyler Black speaking with all of us, and the rubber match between Jack Swagger and Matt Hardy. We are joined immediately by Kevin Thorn and the Brood. Once he gets in the ring he talks about why he didn’t get involved when Elijah Burke attacked Mr. Kennedy last week. Thorn says that it’s because he enjoys seeing his prey in action. They are too scared of him to attack him, so they hunt each other. He’s fine with allowing that to happen because when the time is right, he will strike and take the ECW Title. The time will be right at SummerSlam. He passes the microphone over to Hade Vansen. Before he can even speak, we are joined by Tyler Black. He stays at the top of the ramp and begins to cut a passionate promo about how he believed in the Brood’s cause and that they were going to rule ECW. He said that Thorn wanted to be ECW Champion and rule from within. Holding the Television Championship was also very important, but now they lost the Champion that they had. He promises to take down each and every member of the Brood and he wants to start with Gangrel tonight. Thorn goes to deny the match, but Gangrel cuts him off and accepts. He tells him that nobody should ever turn their back on the Brood. Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match Gangrel w/ The Brood vs. Television Champion Tyler BlackMuch like his match with Mr. Kennedy last week, Gangrel wasn’t too good in the ring. The crowd was firmly behind Black in this one as he’s becoming very popular. After some cheating tactics from Gangrel, Black obviously got back in control and finished off the match with the Buckle Bomb/Superkick combination. Winner: Television Champion Tyler Black (6:11) **¼Black escaped the ring before the Brood could get to him and as he walked up the ramp he pointed at his head as if to say he’s smarter than that.Commercial Break. We return to see Teddy Long in his office. A knock is heard and in steps Elijah Burke. Long says that he has nothing to say to him after the way he sneak attacked the ECW Champion last week. Burke says he just wanted to thank him for the night off, but he wants action next week. He needs a tune up before SummerSlam and he’d like to go one on one with his favorite punching bag, Matt Hardy. Long likes the sound of it and books it.Tag Team Match Dolph Ziggler & The Miz w/ Miranda Rodriguez & Alicia Fox vs. Gavin Spears & Jimmy Wang Yang w/ TiffanyAs expected, this was just used to get Ziggler and Miz more over and push them up the tag team ranks. Spears seemed to have fallen out of favor quickly. He got in the majority of the offense for his team, but after some back and forth action, Miz pinned Yang with the Reality Check. Winners: Dolph Ziggler & The Miz (5:56) **The cameras now cut straight to a video promoting the return of Rey Mysterio to ECW next week!Commercial Break. We are now shown the first commercial hyping up Smackdown’s 10th anniversary show! It will be in two week’s time and will be a three hour extravaganza!Singles Match Matt Hardy vs. Jack SwaggerThis was the most even of their three battles. Matt will have his hands full next week with Elijah Burke but he did not look past tonight. He hit Swagger with everything he had, including his second rope leg drop and the Side Effect, but Swagger managed to kick out of both moves. Swagger would nail a huge belly to belly suplex and he unveiled a brand new tiger suplex for a very close two count. In the end though, Swagger managed to spin out of the Twist of Fate and nail the Gutwrench Power Bomb for a second straight win over the former ECW Champion. Winner: Jack Swagger (12:02) ***½
Commercial Break. An ad is shown to hype up the debut of “The Puerto Rican Nightmare” Eric Escobar. In the video, Spanish music is playing in the background and he talked about fighting for his native Puerto Rico.
The cameras cut to The Hurricane, in what looks like a fake city backdrop. He begins to talk about the evil villains that run through ECW and that it is his duty to clean it up when citizen Long is unavailable. He promises to begin his quest for justice very soon.
The last segment we see before a return to commercial is an advertisement for SummerSlam, where our announcers run down the card and focus on the Triple Threat match for the ECW Championship.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match Ezekiel Jackson vs. ECW Champion Mr. KennedyThese two had a match a few months back, but this one was actually much better. Jackson seemed to have improved in the ring as of late and it showed here. He dominated the early stages and came very close on a few occasions. Kennedy managed to duck a huge clothesline though, and he came back with a dropkick. He took some control after that and hit the Mic Check but still only got a two count. Before he could continue, Elijah Burke ran down and attacked him again. Winner by DQ: ECW Champion Mr. Kennedy (9:38) **¾Burke continued his assault until Ezekiel Jackson got up. He was upset with Burke for costing him the match and he nailed him with the Uranagi. He stood tall, but then the lights went out. When they came back on, Kennedy and Burke were covered in a blood bath, but Jackson remained untouched.© WWE 2009

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 11th August 2009...Interesting way to start off this edition of ECW with The Brood kicking things off, cutting a promo to hype up Tyler Black as ECW Television Champion and becoming a singles star? Nice, and also gets over Kevin Thorn's being so desperate of wanting the ECW Championship for himself, but I can't see him getting it in the triple threat match at SummerSlam. Good idea to keep Tyler Black's match with Gangrel short, but it was a fairly decent way to keep the uprising star, Black over. He'll need alot of help, being not too good on the stick and now being a solo star aswell as ECW Television Champion. Win for Dolph Ziggler and The Miz over Gavin Spears and Jimmy Wang Yang is fine, I am liking the combination of Ziggler and Miz. Hopefully they get a future opportunity at the WWE or World Tag Team Championships, maybe come January. Gavin's push is officially over, considering he was champion two months ago, now he's in a dead-end spot teaming with Jimmy Wang Yang. Solid win for Jack Swagger in their third encounter on ECW on Sci-Fi, beating Matt Hardy. Wondering where this is going. I bet they'll get into a Championship Scramble match come Unforgiven. Eric Escobar debuting sounds cool. The Hurricane's hype video I think sort of killed Escobar's a bit. I mean Hurricane's would of overshadowed the new Escobar because WWE fans are already familiar with him, unlike Eric. Not the best main event but good win for Mr Kennedy despite disqualification. Nice continuation with Thron, Kennedy and Elijah Burke's feud aswell. A good show.

The opening segment was great. Tyler Black running solo will work excellent and his feud with the Brood will be gold. His victory over Gangrel was shocking as I thought the Brood would interfere, but smart nonetheless. Elijah Burke versus Matt Hardy will be excellent for next week. Dolph Ziggler and Miz are a better team than Gavin Spears and Jimmy Wang Yang so them winning is good. I don’t like how Spears is being depushed lately. Jack Swagger defeating Matt Hardy is good. I love Jack Swagger and I hope you make him a mega star. Elijah Burke causing a disqualification was good and it keeps Jackson looking strong. Overall, an excellent show.
