Raw: I love kavel as a heel, i'd like to see him take the belt but RB looks like he could get a good push. I like beth picking up the win,i hope she goes back in the title pic, but i'm not a fan of Lea. Hmm a Batista Vs Kane feud seems like it would be boring to me, but i think you can make it good. Shocked to see Cena lose but thank god. Can't wait for HHH to take his sledge on him. I'm a fan a Paul Burchill, i wished WWE would push him, give the belts to that team. Batista winning was disapointing because i wished you could have Kane vs Batista , but i could see Kane getting in to the match somehow. Cena vs HHH is booked now, hope to see Mvp walk out with the belt.

August 25th, 2009 World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado Attendance: 7,701
ECW opens with a video package showing Kevin Thorn walk out of SummerSlam as the new ECW Champion after defeating Mr. Kennedy and Elijah Burke in a Triple Threat match.Matt Striker and Todd Grisham welcome us to tonight’s big edition of ECW. It marks the start of a new era as Kevin Thorn is now the ECW Champion. Plus, we will witness two of the four qualifying matches needed to round out the ECW Championship Scramble match at Unforgiven! The Brood’s theme hits as Kevin Thorn, Hade Vansen & Gangrel make their way to the ring. Thorn cuts a very good promo about how he has achieved what he set out to do the day he formed the Brood and that was to take over ECW. He mentions that he had some bumps in the road, namely their resident turncoat, Tyler Black, but nothing was able to stop the inevitable. Now that he’s ECW Champion, nobody can stop the Brood! He is cut off by the theme music of Mr. Kennedy! Kennedy comes out and says that his run atop ECW is not over; it just has hit an small hitch. He promises to win his Scramble Match qualifier next week and win back his belt at Unforgiven, but not before taking Thorn out in tonight’s main event. Commercial Break.
Scramble Match Qualifier Ezekiel Jackson vs. Rey Mysterio The crowd was really into this one and one hundred percent behind Mysterio. He used his speed to elude Jackson’s bruiser style offense early on. After eluding it, Mysterio used that to gather some offense. He ducked a clothesline, springboarded off the ropes and nailed a drop kick. Mysterio continued this until Jackson caught him in a cross body attempt and slammed him down. Jackson began to dominate until Rey delivered a drop toe hold and was set for the 619. Rey nailed it and then went for the West Coast Pop, but Jackson caught him and hit a huge power bomb. He lifted him up and drilled the Uranagi for the surprise clean victory Winner: Ezekiel Jackson (10:06) ***¼
Commercial Break. We return to see Jack Swagger enter Teddy Long’s office. He thanks Teddy for the opportunity to be in the ECW Championship Scramble at Unforgiven and promises to win his first ECW Title on that night. Long asks him about calling out Rey Mysterio last week. Swagger says that Rey is next in his crosshairs, but after what we just saw, they won’t be meeting in the Scramble match.Singles Match Dolph Ziggler w/ Alicia Fox, The Miz & Miranda Rodriguez vs. The HurricaneThis was a solid contest, as both men are in the hunt for the Television Title even though Ziggler and Miz have their sights set on Tag Team gold as well. The match featured some back and forth action, but in the end, Rodriguez distracted the referee, which allowed Miz to hit the Reality Check and place Ziggler’s arm over Hurricane for the win. Winner: Dolph Ziggler (7:08) **½
Commercial Break. The cameras show an ad for the upcoming debut of “The Puerto Rican Nightmare” Eric Escobar, which will happen in a few weeks.
Next, the ECW announcers put over this Friday’s 3 Hour Smackdown X Special, with a huge main event of CM Punk going one on one with The Undertaker!
We are now shown Tyler Black getting prepared in his locker room for his Championship Scramble qualifier. In comes Tommy Dreamer, who tells Black that the way he was ousted from the Brood wasn’t good, but getting out of there was the best thing for his career. He tells Black that now he can be his own man and possibly even get an ECW Title shot just six months into his career. Dreamer says that he sees a bright future for our Television Champion. Black thanks him for his words and he plans on putting them to good use, next.Commercial Break.
Championship Scramble Qualifier Jack Swagger vs. Television Champion Tyler BlackWow is all that can be used to describe this match. These two sure fire future ECW Champions put on a classic and showed why they’re considered the future. Swagger’s power gave the early upper hand as he tossed Black around and then they took it to the mat. Black held his own, but Swagger was the man on the mat. Black looked to be trouble as he couldn’t beat Swagger at anything it seemed, until reversed the Gutwrench Power Bomb into a hurricanrana for a near fall. Black took control from there on in as he took to the skies. He would hit a springboard clothesline and Death Valley Driver, but Swagger kicked out. Black was going for the Buckle Bomb, but Swagger reversed it into a back body drop, but Black landed on his feet. Swagger turned around and Black hit him with a Pele kick. Swagger stumbled, but didn’t fall and Black drilled him with God’s Last Gift for the victory! Winner: Television Champion Tyler Black (13:44) ****Just like last week, Hade Vansen ran out and attacked Black after the match. He would again drill him with the Spike DDT and leave him lying.Commercial Break. The cameras return to the back, instead of to our main event, as Jack Swagger is walking to his locker room, holding his neck and looking disappointed. Rey Mysterio walks up to him and asks him what his problem is. Swagger tells him that Rey will be a stepping stone for him to reach the ECW Title. Rey tells him to meet him in the ring next week and we’ll see who the stepping stone is. Swagger accepts.Tag Team Match Hade Vansen & ECW Champion Kevin Thorn w/ Gangrel vs. Mr. Kennedy & Matt HardyThis wasn’t as good as the previous match, but it was still solid. The faces worked very well together and surprisingly, this match didn’t follow the usual tag formula. One of the faces wasn’t dominated and forced to make the hot tag. That made this a back and forth encounter and in the end, Hardy pinned Vansen with a Twist of Fate. Winners: Matt Hardy & Mr. Kennedy (8:29) **¾Matt Hardy and Mr. Kennedy celebrate as The Brood leaves up the ramp. As they reach the halfway point, Theodore Long appears on screen. He says that next week on ECW, we will see our final two Championship Scramble match qualifiers. First though, he announced that Tyler Black had requested to defend his Television Title against Hade Vansen and it will happen next week! Now, on to the Scramble qualifiers. In one match, it will be Matt Hardy going one on one with Tommy Dreamer and in the other it will be Mr. Kennedy taking on his rival, Elijah Burke! The crowd and announcers are pumped for next week's stacked show!© WWE 2009

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 25th August 2009...A decent way to kick off this edition of ECW on SyFy with The Brood entering, which is logical because Kevin Thorn is our new ECW Champion, but I can't really see him making too grand a champion. Mr Kennedy I understand will still be in the title hunt and can predict you plan on building Tyler Black up to feud with Thorn in the future, also. Surprised about how great Ezekiel Jackson against Rey Mysterio was, I really think Rey should have gotten into the ECW Championship Scramble match for Unforgiven, but there's still a chance. I really feel he's been treated pretty badly since his return last week. He needs more momentum, he needs to be in the main event picture after that big of a hype for his return. Was pretty pointless for Rey to have all that hype just to job out here in my opinion. Dolph Ziggler beating The Hurricane is fine, wasn't too great a match, I just hope that Hurricane gets a storyline though, rather than just doing next to nothing forever. Yeah, I predicted ECW Television Champion, Tyler Black getting into the ECW Championship Scramble, but I wish Jack Swagger had gotten in. Black is already Television Champion. Swagger and Matt Hardy should be getting proper treatment also, in my opinion. Swagger, Matt and Rey are pretty lost on the ECW brand. Great tag team main event to close down the show with Matt Hardy and Mr Kennedy winning. Decent show, just feel the directions of some superstars is unfortunate.

Smackdown 8/28/09 Preview-Ten years ago, WWE debuted a new show entitled Smackdown! Tonight, we celebrate that very show with a special 3 hour event. All former Smackdown brand members are invited to the celebration. This show needs a major main event and boy, does it have one. The Undertaker has been such a stalwart on Smackdown for the past few years, that he has become the face of the Blue Brand. The other current face of the brand would be its World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk. Punk retained the title in a Fatal Four Way match at SummerSlam, but will face off against The Undertaker tonight in a huge non-title main event! If 'Taker wins, will it put him in a position for a title shot? Or will Punk overcome the odds once again? -Also tonight, Smackdown's guests will be in action. A huge tag team match has been signed between four of Smackdown's all-time biggest Superstars! On one team you have the longest reigning Champions in Smackdown history, Triple H & John "Bradshaw" Layfield! On the other side you have two former World Champions while they were on Smackdown, John Cena & Batista! Cena & Batista are former World Tag Team Champions, while Triple H & JBL have teamed together before. What will go down when these four mega stars collide? -Of course, we can't forget about the current Smackdown roster. The Championship Scramble matches at Unforgiven are coming up in just a few weeks and all four Smackdown qualifiers will be tonight! One qualifier will pit former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy up against Mr. Money in the Bank, Shelton Benjamin, fresh off a huge win over Big Show. Speaking of Show, he will face the "Rated R Superstar", Edge! Our United States Champion Kofi Kingston gets a shot at glory as he faces former World and WWE Champion Randy Orton in a qualifier! No word on what the fourth and final qualifier is, but it's sure to be huge! Tune into MyNetwork TV tonight at 8:00PM for all the action, excitment & drama that is Smackdown!

Kevin Thorn and The Brood opening was expected since Thorn won the ECW Title at SummerSlam. I can see Tyler Black dethroning him. Ezekiel Jackson getting into the Scramble and Rey not really shocked me. Ziggler over The Hurricane is fine, but like Dan said: give The Hurricane a storyline. Tyler Black over Jack Swagger? Would have preferred Black went over someone else, tbh. Main event was solid. I'm just glad Thorn wasn't pinned.

August 28th, 2009 Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington Attendance: 17,105
This special edition of Smackdown opens with a video package showing the history of Smackdown, starting with the first ever episode and moving on throughout the years. It all leads up to showing every World or WWE Champion in the brand’s history in order, ending with a shot of CM Punk standing with the World Title raised after his victory at SummerSlam! [ALL SUPERSTARS' NAMES ARE STILL CLICKABLE AND WILL LINK YOU TO THEIR TITANTRON/THEME MUSIC]After a huge fireworks display, we go to our announce team of Tazz and Jim Ross. They hype up tonight’s show and remind us that it will be an extravaganza of epic proportions. Tonight, we will witness CM Punk go one on one with The Undertaker for the first time ever. We will also see all four Championship Scramble match qualifiers for the World Title. First though, we will hear from a surprise Smackdown icon! The Rock’s theme hits for the first time in years as the People’s Champ comes out to an enormous ovation from the crowd, quite possibly the loudest all year. He gets in the ring and does his usual “Finally, the Rock has come back to Smackdown!” stuff. He mentions that it’s good to be back and that he had to show up tonight, it was him in fact, who coined the phrase “Smackdown”. He goes through a rundown of the history of Smackdown and then talks about how 2009 is possibly the greatest year in its history. He says that this show has produced some incredible matches this year and he applauds the entire locker room for that. He is cut off by the theme of Triple H. Once The Game gets in the ring, Rock says that some things never change. Almost a decade later and HHH still interrupts him and still has a huge nose. HHH is dead serious though, and tells Rock that he shouldn’t be out here stealing his thunder, because he should be the guy who opened this show. He reigned atop Friday Nights for almost all of 2008. He says a few more things about his accomplishments and the Rock tells him that he forgot one thing. That one thing is that he’s the biggest a**hole walking god’s green Earth. HHH gets mad and Rock tells him to calm down because he has a huge tag team match tonight. Rock decides that since this is still his show, he puts himself in that tag team match as the Special Referee and ends the promo with “If ya smelllll…what The Rock is cooking!” Commercial Break. The cameras return and catch Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero in their office. There’s a knock on the door and in comes ECW General Manager Theodore Long. They ask why he is there and Long tells them that he was the longest reigning GM in Smackdown history, so he’s here to sit back, relax and enjoy the festivities. Stephanie welcomes him and then tells him that as a former GM, he should make a match for tonight. There are only three Scramble Match qualifiers set so far, so he should make the fourth. Vickie doesn’t like this, but Long goes on and makes a Battle Royal with the winner advancing.Championship Scramble Match Qualifier United States Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Randy OrtonThe crowd pretty much knew Orton would walk out of here as the winner, but these two did a very good job of making it seem like Kofi would win. He came close on several occasions and had Orton reeling. Kofi got a near fall after his leg drop and then he even connected with Trouble in Paradise. Orton managed to somehow get a shoulder up though. Kofi prepped to nail it again, but Orton ducked it and caught him with a sweet RKO to end it. Winner: Randy Orton (9:12) ***¼Smackdown Moment: The first ever Smackdown episode, in which Triple H met The Rock in one on one action, with Shawn Michaels as Special Guest Referee.Commercial Break.Again, we return to the General Managers office. The New Hart Foundation enters and demands to know why they aren’t on tonight’s card when they’re the most dominant tag team in Smackdown history. Stephanie says that it is wrong for the WWE Tag Team Champions to not be on the show, so tonight they will face former WWE Tag Team Champions in Matt Hardy and WWE Champion MVP!Divas Tag Team Match Divas Champion Gail Kim & Melina vs. Layla London & Natalya NeidhartThese four women put on your basic Divas tag match, although the match did suffer from London’s lack of experience. London was without Katie Lea, due to Katie having never been part of the Smackdown brand. Anyway, Kim racked up the win for her team after nailing London with the Happy Ending. Winners: Divas Champion Gail Kim & Melina (5:27) **Matt Hardy is shown in the back, when MVP comes in, with the WWE Championship around his waist. They greet each other and seem pretty friendly, although Matt reminds MVP that even though they’re former Champions, they’ve never seen eye-to-eye. MVP agrees but says that it’s all past him now and they’re going to put on a show tonight, to represent Smackdown!Smackdown Moment: This clip shows Mr. McMahon defeat Triple H to win the WWE Championship in shocking fashion.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Tag Team Match Matt Hardy & WWE Champion MVP w/ Eve vs. WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart Foundation w/ NatalyaAs one would expect, this was an awesome choice to main event the first hour of this epic show. The teams went back and forth and the Foundation began to work over Matt in the corner. They cut the ring in half and prevented him from making the hot tag on two occasions. Matt’s third try was a success as MVP cleaned house once he came in. TJ Wilson got nailed with a snap overhead belly-to-belly suplex and then Harry Smith got hit with the “Ballin” elbow drop. The match came to an end when Matt was tagged back in. He went for the Twist of Fate on Smith, but it was reversed into a Northern lights suplex. Wilson then hit his springboard elbow onto Matt, while Smith knocked MVP off the apron for the victory. Winners: WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart Foundation (11:06) ***½
Smackdown Moment: This clip showed highlights of the 9/11 Tribute Episode.Commercial Break. In the back, Josh Matthews is standing by with Edge. Matthews asks him how he feels about being the man who CM Punk pinned at SummerSlam. Edge looks at him as if he’s stupid. Edge admits that Punk pinned him, but he reminds us that he was seconds away from regaining his belt. He says he’s getting closer and closer with each passing show and it’s only a matter of time before he’s on top of the world again.Championship Scramble Match Qualifier Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton BenjaminSo far, this was the match of the night. These two put on a classic at Royal Rumble and another one in the Gold Rush Tournament, with Jeff coming out on top both times. Benjamin was in control of this one though as his mat wrestling abilities paved the way to the upper hand. Benjamin was in complete control until he whipped Jeff into the corner, only to have him hit the Whisper in the Winds. Jeff would then hit his signature spots until he set up Shelton for the Twist of Fate, but Benjamin broke free and nailed Paydirt from out of nowhere. Shelton was too tired to make the cover quickly and that allowed Jeff to kick out at two. Benjamin went to pick him up, but Jeff rolled him into a small package for the win. Winner: Jeff Hardy (13:40) ****
Smackdown Moment: This clip showed Brock Lesnar superplex Big Show and force the ring to collapse under their weight.Commercial Break.Josh Matthews catches up with Shelton Benjamin as he is seen backstage pacing back and forth looking frustrated. Benjamin states that he somehow manages to keep getting locked out of these titles shots. He lost in the King of the Ring, he lost in the Gold Rush tournament and he lost tonight. He stops pacing and grabs his golden briefcase. He reminds us that no matter what happens, he still has one title shot in his back pocket. He just may walk out of Unforgiven as World Champion after all. But he does have an idea of what to do to keep him busy for now. He says that he took out Big Show in his own match type and proved that he can defy the odds. Now, he wants to prove to the world just how much of a World Title caliber Superstar he is, because he is going after the best Smackdown has to offer. Matthews is left standing there, wondering who Benjamin is talking about. Special Referee Tag Team Match Batista & John Cena vs. JBL & Triple H Special Referee: The RockThis turned out to be just what you expected, a straight up brawl. It told a good story as the heels worked over Batista, the man they both have issues with. Eventually, The Animal made the tag to Cena, who came in firing and knocked both of his opponents to the ground. After some more back and forth action, HHH nailed Batista with the Pedigree. He got a two count because Batista got his foot on the rope. HHH got in the Rock’s face and began to argue with him. HHH shoves him, which causes The Rock to drop him with the Rock Bottom. He followed with the People’s Elbow to a huge pop from the crowd. Batista picked up HHH and dropped him with the Batista Bomb for the win. Winners: Batista and John Cena (12:51) ***The Rock raises the hands of the winner and the crowd eats up seeing three of the WWE’s biggest icons in the ring at one time.Smackdown Moment: This time, we see highlights from TLC III, which featured Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit beating the Hardys, Dudleys and Edge & Christian.Commercial Break.
Championship Scramble Match Qualifier Big Show vs. EdgeTwo good workers, but sadly, they turned in a disappointing match tonight. Maybe it was because of the all the other good matches tonight, but this was a letdown. It began with Show controlling the early stages by beating down on Edge and using his power advantage. Edge would take the upper hand after nailing a low blow after the referee was knocked down. Edge then went to the outside, got a chair and nailed Show with it. It took four shots to knock him down. Edge then locked in the Edge-e-cator submission and the referee saw that Show was unconscious so he called for the bell. Winner via Submission: Edge (8:51) **½We cut to the back, where Kofi Kingston is shown with an ice pack on his neck after his loss to Randy Orton earlier. John Morrison walks up to him and tells him that he’s about to go do what Kofi couldn’t and qualify for the Scramble at Unforgiven by winning the upcoming Battle Royal. Kofi, not wanting to talk, just tells him good luck and leaves. Morrison levels him from behind and stomps on him a few times. He then picked him up and threw him into a nearby gate and continues the beating until officials broke it up.Smackdown Moment: This moment showed the creation of the Divas Championship.Commercial Break.
Battle Royal Ace Steel vs. Carlito vs. Chris Jericho vs. Curt Hawkins vs. John Morrison vs. Primo Colon vs. Scotty Goldman vs. The Brian Kendrick vs. Umaga vs. Zack RyderThe crowd was mostly behind Jericho, Morrison, Kendrick and Umaga as they were the only competitors in this who weren’t tag team stars. As it would turn out, the final four were Morrison, Umaga, Jericho and Carlito. The four men battled it out for a short period of time, until Carlito surprised everybody by ducking an attack from Umaga and sending him over the top. Then, the two mid-carders, Carlito and Morrison, brawled until Carilto had him halfway out. Jericho, who was down after getting hit with a Back Cracker, snuck up and flipped both men out. Winner: Chris Jericho (10:13) **¾The announcers put over how incredible the World Title Championship Scramble looks as CM Punk will defend against Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Edge and Chris Jericho!Smackdown Moment: This final moment shown, is a montage of 2009. It showed some of the great matches, highlighted that Smackdown is home to the 2009 Money in the Bank winner and 2009 Royal Rumble winner.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. The UndertakerAs one would expect, this was an awesome contest. Both men gave it their all and it was back and forth throughout. Punk hit a springboard clothesline, locked on a submission while on the ropes and hit a big dropkick. ‘Taker hit the Old School, a choke slam and some punches in the corner. After a long battle, the end was near. ‘Taker hooked Punk for the Tombstone, but Punk tripped up ‘Taker, went to his head and locked on the Anaconda Vise. ‘Taker reached the ropes though. Punk surprisingly hoisted him up for the GTS, but ‘Taker elbowed his way out of it, and then hit the Last Ride. Both men were down and ‘Taker sat up. He called for the Tombstone, but out ran Shelton Benjamin to everyone’s surprise. He ran up to ‘Taker and caught him with a surprise Paydirt! Winner via Disqualification: The Undertaker (16:27) ****¼The crowd was in shock as this must’ve been what Benjamin meant when he said he was coming after Smackdown’s best. Punk began to get up and Benjamin quickly brought him down with a Paydirt as well. He left up the ramp celebrating as he ruined a classic main event. Suddenly, The Undertaker sits up and stares a hole through Benjamin as we go off the air.© WWE 2009

WWE SmackDown X: Friday 28th September 2009...Wow, The Rock opening up the show? I really like that, but would he really do that beyond doing a simple pre-recorded skit? Nice to see Triple H get involved since those two fought on the original SmackDown in 1999. You should have had Shawn Michaels return for one night only to face Triple H with The Rock officiating, in a complete reverse of roles between Rock and HBK, but a tag team match tonight is good, though you could have noted who else is going to be in that match. It was pretty easy to predict who as going to win the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble Qualifier, as Randy Orton beat Kofi Kingston. But to be honest, though Kingston had some good offense, his momentum was really lowered by being defeated by the larger Orton. Glad you're doing the SmackDown Moments. Nice divas tag team win for Gail Kim and Melina over Layla and Natalya Neidhart in what would have been a slightly average tag team match. I'd of preferred Layla teaming with WWE Womens Champion, Katie-Lea Burchill to face WWE Divas Champion, Gail Kim and Melina, personally, however I see why you did that. Hah, no SmackDown Moment with Rhyno goring Chris Jericho through the OvalTron? Shame. Nice win for New Hart Foundation over old allies, Montel Vontavious Porter and Matt Hardy. I liked that, and New Hart Foundation winning without MVP the WWE Champion getting pinned. Jeff Hardy and Shelton Benjamin have had countless great matches, and this was no exception with Jeff beating Shelton to get into the Scramble match at Unforgiven. Interesting business with Shelton, but slightly confusing. I just can't see him as World Heavyweight Champion. Batista and John Cena beating John Bradshaw Layfield and Triple H was likely as The Rock was the referee. Liked that he had the People's Elbow in there, but I'd of felt he would hae been better off just hitting the Rock Bottom as what usually preceded the People's Elbow was a spinebuster to set him in position. Can't see WWE showing Chris Benoit, unfortunately with that TLC III match in the SmackDown Moment. Edge winning the Scramble Qualifier over Big Show was predictable. I can't really of seen the creation of the Divas Championship gaining a SmackDown Moment. Surely there's other moments, like Edge and The Undertaker's feud or something. Great but filler battle royal match. This battle royal was a Scramble Qualifier? You should of listed that. Chris Jericho winning was the best decision to make. Lastly, fantastic match between The Undertaker and CM Punk but Shelton Benjamin's interference damaged that. Didn't like Shelton laying out the World Heavyweight Champion in the main event scene of the tenth anniversary of SmackDown, but a feud with 'Taker can elevate Shelton's status. A good nostalgia-based show also featuring storyline-movements.

I knew it! The Rock. LOL at the rock syin HHH is an bunghole. Rock as special geust referee is interesting yet awesome. Orton winning is cool, They opened the show? meh. MVP and Matt reunite! Hart Foundation ftw. meh for the divas match, nice ending. Perfect tag match. If Mvp wouldve been pinned that wouldve been terrible. I would mark for Edge to become world champ or jericho. Jeff winning makes sense. I can smella cash in and its building up tension that Benjamin still has that breifcase. Rock Bottom! Great tag team bout. Edge winning is awesome. Morrison for US Champ! How did I know he was talking about Taker? Coz, Im The Miz and Im....never mind. Cool ending to an action packed fantastack show.

8/26/09 Preview-Kane will once again be losing his mask. He thanked the WWE for allowing him to bring it back and the Title run that followed, but it's very difficult to wrestle in as Kane has trouble breathing in it. Most likely, the mask will be stolen from him in the coming weeks and he'll continue on without it. -John "Bradshaw" Layfield will be retiring in the coming weeks as well. Most likely sometime in October. -The WWE has made a few more signings this week. The first is the re-signing of Chris Mordetzky, also known as Chris Masters. He will be joining Raw or Smackdown and getting in the mid-card title hunt. The other is unknown at this time. -Rumors are swirling about possibly moving somebody from Smackdown over to Raw at the end of the year for a shock Title win. That person would most likely hold the belt into WrestleMania XXVI.

Raw 8/31/09 Preview-Last week on Raw, we witnessed the first two Championship Scramble match qualifiers. Batista and Ted Dibiase Jr. were the lucky two who made it through and are guaranteed title shots at Unforgiven. Tonight though, we get a preview of sorts as Ted Dibiase Jr. will go one on one with the WWE Champion, MVP in a non-title battle. These two are sure to be stalwarts at the top of the WWE for many years to come and this could be the first of many battles between them! -Onto Championship Scramble Match qualifiers, there will again be two tonight. In the first, Cabinet leader, John "Bradshaw" Layfield will have his work cut out for him when he takes on Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne. Plus, just like on Smackdown last Friday, there will be a Battle Royal for the final spot! And, to up the ante even more, Triple H, John Cena and Cody Rhodes, who lost their qualifiers last week, will all be in the Battle Royal for a second chance! -Lastly, tonight on Raw we will witness the finding of a new Number One Contender to Katie Lea Burchilll's Women's Championship. Burchill has dominated the Women's Title since winning it back at Night of Champions. She defeated Mickie James at SummerSlam, but Mickie will be involved in tonight's Fatal Four Way Number One Contender's match. The other three Divas will be former Champions Beth Phoenix, and Melina, as well as Kelly Kelly. Who will be able to stop Katie Lea's reign of terror?

August 31st, 2009 Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming Attendance: 7,221
Raw kicks off by showing a video package, focusing on Batista and Ted Dibiase Jr. qualifying for the Championship Scramble at Unforgiven.Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole welcome us to tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. They promote tonight’s big non-title main event pitting WWE Champion MVP against Ted Dibiase Jr. in a battle of two guys who will be at the top of the WWE for years to come. Also tonight, Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne gets a crack at the Championship Scramble when he takes on John “Bradshaw” Layfield. Also, just like this past Friday on Smackdown, we will witness a Battle Royal to determine the final spot in the Scramble match.“ King of Kings” by Motorhead hits as Triple H makes his way to the ring. He gets on the microphone and looks pissed. He guesses that he got what was coming to him last week. He messed with John Cena and Cena cost him his spot in the Scramble Match. He mentions though, that Cena had no right to get physically involved. Triple H states that his theme music only played during Cena’s match, and he didn’t even make an appearance. That gave Cena no right to attack him the way he did. This, of course, brings out Cena. He gets in the ring and right in Triple H’s face. He tells him that if he wanted some of him all he had to do was ask, but he’s not hard to find if you want to fight. He didn’t have to have his music play to distract him and cost him the match. But Cena mentions that he’s not the type of person to whine over a loss and he knows that he has another shot at the Scramble match in tonight’s Battle Royal. HHH tells him that tonight will be another wasted opportunity because he will be the winner. Before Cena can retort, HHH nails him with the microphone and the two begin to brawl in the middle of the ring. They are cut off by Eric Bischoff’s theme. The General Manager comes to the stage and demands that the two of them stop this. HHH rolls out of the ring. Bischoff tells them that just because they’re big stars; it doesn’t give them the right to do whatever they want. He says that it’s about time he took back some control of his show. As punishment for their actions just now, HHH and Cena will not be participating in the Battle Royal tonight! They are both to be ejected from the building. But, Bischoff is a fair man, so he will give them half of what they want. At Unforgiven, it will be John Cena vs. Triple H in a one on one match! HHH and Cena both look pissed off and stare each other down. Commercial Break.During the break, HHH was shown leaving with security escorting him.Championship Scramble Match Qualifier Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne vs. John “Bradshaw” Layfield w/ Candice MichelleTalk about a styles clash, these two have nothing in common but managed to put on a strong match. JBL was being his usual brute self as he dominated Bourne in the early stages. Of course, the IC Champ battled back using his speed and high risk offense. The risk proved to be too great as JBL caught his cross body attempt and hit a huge fall away slam for a two. JBL sent him off the ropes and went for the Clothesline from Hell, but Bourne ducked and nailed a swift hurricanrana. Bourne climbed to the top for the Air Bourne, but Ryan Braddock ran down and pushed him off. JBL was getting up and as Bourne was coming down, he caught him with a sick Clothesline from Hell for the win. Winner: John “Bradshaw” Layfield (8:18) **¾After the match, Braddock waited for Bourne to get up and he nailed him with a Lariat of his own. He then raised the arm of JBL once more.Commercial Break.During the break, John Cena was now escorted out of the building, like Triple H was earlier. Now, the camera goes to a live feed showing multiple security members running towards the parking lot area. When they get there, John Cena is laid out on the ground and blood covers his face. Everybody figures that this was the work of Triple H.Fatal Four Way Number One Contender’s Match Beth Phoenix vs. Kelly Kelly vs. Mickie James vs. MelinaWhatever you expect from your routine multi Divas match is what you got here. Beth looked dominant throughout, but James and Melina took it upon themselves to team up and knock her to the outside of the ring. Just a side note, Katie Lea was on commentary for this one. Back in the ring it became a battle between James and Melina as Kelly decided to leap to the outside onto Beth. In the ring, Melina planted James with the Last Call for the win. Winner: Melina (6:01) **Melina looked at Katie Lea and motioned that she was going to take the Women’s Title from her. Commercial Break. We return to see Eric Bischoff in his office with Sean Morley. Morley thanked him for the opportunity at the Championship Scramble last week and for another shot in the upcoming Battle Royal. Bischoff tells him that he deserves it after helping him these past few weeks. Morley says that his dream is to take over after Bischoff retires. Bischoff tells him not to count his chickens before they hatch because he isn’t leaving anytime soon. Morley leaves for the match.Battle Royal World Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne vs. Kane vs. Kaval vs. World Tag Team Champion Joe Henning vs. Paul Burchill vs. R-Truth vs. Ryan Braddock vs. Sean Morley vs. William RegalThe crowd basically knew that a heel would be winning this as the only two faces in it were Bourne and Truth. Despite that, they managed to last a while and the final four turned out to be Bourne, Kane, Rhodes and Burchill. Burchill and Bourne were doing battle in the corner, when Kane came over and attacked them. Kane tossed Burchill over, but Bourne gave him trouble. Bourne made a mistake though, by climbing to the top. Kane pushed him off to the outside. Rhodes snuck up and attempted to toss him over, but Kane turned and caught him. He lifted him high in the air and slammed him down with a Chokeslam that sent him to the outside. Winner: Kane (9:01) **¾Instead of Kane’s music hitting once he won, Batista’s hit as The Animal made his way to the ring. He got right in and began to trade fists with Kane. They brawl as the crowd goes crazy. Eventually, Batista catches him with a spine buster. Batista then goes to Kane’s head and takes off his mask. Kane gets up to attack, but Batista hits him with a second spine buster to the crowd’s delight. He leaves with the mask in his hand.Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match Jayson Paul and Shad Gaspard vs. The TechniciansThe Technicians were without Kelly, who was still nursing her wounds from earlier. This was placed here to give the crowd a break between the Battle Royal and the main event. It continued to show that WWE’s tag team division is getting better and better. After some decent back and forth action, Paul and Gaspard picked up the win after hitting their G9 finisher on Noble. Winners: Jayson Paul and Shad Gaspard (6:52) **¼The announcers take over now and tell us that John Cena has been taken to a nearby hospital. They then promote Unforgiven, which is live in just under two weeks.
Now we cut to the back where Josh Matthews is standing by with Ted Dibiase Jr. He asks about his upcoming match with MVP. Dibiase says that tonight, he will make a statement. He’s been making statements a lot lately. He pinned MVP a few weeks back in a six man tag and he beat John Cena last week. Tonight, he will defeat the WWE Champion as well.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match WWE Champion MVP w/ Eve vs. Ted Dibiase Jr.This was the best match of the night by far. These two guys are new main event players on Raw and they put on a very good main event here. It went back and forth and got about ten minutes in and at that point, Dibiase was in control. He had MVP in a sleeper, but the Champion rallied behind the crowd and got out of the move. He would whip Dibiase into the corner and hit a huge big boot in the corner. MVP set up for the Playmaker, but Dibiase reversed it and locked in the Million Dollar Dream. MVP backed him into a corner to break it up. Dibiase fell after hitting the turnbuckle and MVP connected with the Drive-By! Winner: WWE Champion MVP (12:21) ***¼MVP celebrated with Eve and his belt after the match. Surprisingly, there would be no attack or stare downs to end Raw this week as the show went off the air while MVP was celebrating.© WWE 2009

Unforgiven card looks stacked. Im hoping both Champs retain, but if you were to want one of them to drop the belt without losing any momentum, then the scramble would be good. But, i hope both retain. RAW was solid, liking the MVP graphic. Liked the opening promo, Cena vs. HHH is meh, but a good match to add to the PPV i suppose. Kane winning the Battle Royal was good, glad MVP picked up the win in the Main Event as well.

WWE RAW: Monday 31st August 2009...Alright, you're just getting to the point, aren't you. Haha. Good opening promo to start off RAW with Triple H cutting a promo. I'm not too fond of the ease in which Triple H went through to go from feuding Batista to getting into a program with John Cena. A singles match between Cena and Triple H is okay for Unforgiven, I just wish it had been dragged out maybe a little. John Bradshaw Layfield winning the WWE Championship Scramble Qualifier is wise as WWE Intercontinental Champion, Evan Bourne doesn't have the personality to be of that ranking. Please give Evan some air time to talk and get over himself as having a character, rather than a stick-in-the-mud fun babyface. Melina winning the fatal-four-way match is good, was a solid match considering the talent in there. Nice battle royal there, Evan Bourne fighting two matches back to back? Not liking that at all. Think you made the battle royal a bit standout that Kane would win, none of the other talent look like they're going to advance against Kane in there. I just don't think the battle royal was worth holding. A feud between Kane and Batista is fine, however. Decent win for The Cabinet with Jayson Paul and Shad Gaspard defeating Jamie Noble and Charlie Haas, wasn't too special of a match, however. John Cena attacked? Cliffhanger. I dig it. Good win for the WWE Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter over Ted Dibiase, think it was a slightly lacklustre ending to RAW as I feel some involvement with the Scramble contenders would of suited good. A decent show overall. Reply to TNA iMPACT?

ECW 9/1/09 Preview-The first WWE show of September should be an instant classic as ECW has four very good matches lined up. The first two would be ECW Championship Scramble match qualifiers. Last week, Ezekiel Jackson and Television Champion Tyler Black both qualified. Tonight, four former ECW Champions will get their opportunity as Matt Hardy will go one on one with the ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer. In the other qualifier, Elijah Burke will face off with one of his biggest rivals this year, Mr. Kennedy! -Speaking of Championships, we will see one defended on tonight's broadcast. Television Champion Tyler Black has had his issues with The Brood ever since they violently kicked him out of the group. He's been attacked lately by his former tag team partner and the two will collide with the belt on the line tonight! That's right, Tyler Black defends against Hade Vansen in what should be an awesome contest! -Lastly, Rey Mysterio returned to give ECW an injection of high flying action. He was interuppted after winning by "The All-American American" Jack Swagger. Swagger proclaimed that he's going to run through every top guy in ECW on his way to the belt and Rey is next on his list. Tonight, they will meet in a first time ever match. Will Swagger back up his brash claim? Or can Mysterio shut up the cocky youngster? Find out by tuning into the Sci-Fi Network tonight at 9:00PM!

I love this fair Eric Bischoff and kicking Triple H and John Cena out of the building was unexpected. Their match at Unforgiven should be a good one. I am pumped that JBL won the right to compete in the scrabble. Please push JBL because if you do I will love you forever. I was pretty shocked to see Kane win the battle royal. There was a lot of great talent in that match and I really didn’t think Kane would be victorious. I love Batista attacking Kane from behind and stealing his mask. The Technicians need to start winning so matches and regain their momentum. MVP winning so cool and I love that Ted is in the main event…that is simply amazing!

September 1st, 2009 MetraPark Arena in Billings, Montana Attendance: 12,458
ECW opens with a video package showing Tyler Black and Ezekiel Jackson advance to the Championship Scramble match at Unforgiven. After the opening fireworks display, Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to tonight’s broadcast and hype up the four big matches on tonight’s card. They mainly focus on Mr. Kennedy vs. Elijah Burke, which will main event tonight’s show.Championship Scramble Match Qualifier Matt Hardy vs. Tommy DreamerA good, clean match here to kick off things as these two faces went at it. The crowd was behind both men, but behind Matt more so. They battled back and forth for a short while until Dreamer nailed the Dreamer Driver. He covered, but Matt managed to kick out. Dreamer signaled for the DDT, but Matt spun out of it and hit the Side Effect to pick up the victory. Winner: Matt Hardy (8:55) **½The announcers put over that this is Matt Hardy’s first crack at the ECW Championship since Backlash. The cameras then cut to Theodore Long’s office where he’s sitting down enjoying tonight’s action. Dolph Ziggler and The Miz enter the office, along with Alicia Fox and Miranda Rodriguez. They tell Teddy that they’re tired of running over the tag team competition here on ECW and they want to move onto the World or WWE Tag Team Championships. Long tells them that he likes the enthusiasm, but there’s one tag team on ECW that they haven’t beat and they should take up their problems with them first. That tag team is Finlay and Sheamus and they will meet next week! Commercial Break. We return to see The Hurricane standing over a city. He’s looking down on it saying that the world of ECW needs protecting in the worst possible way. He says that there are villains out there, corrupting the land of Extreme and it’s his civil duty to stop them all. He promises to begin with the most evil and vile of all here in ECW, and that’s The Brood.Singles Match Jack Swagger vs. Rey MysterioRey came down to the ring first, to a chorus of cheers from the crowd. Suddenly, though, he’s attacked from behind by Jack Swagger. Swagger continued the assault and ended it with a brutal Gutwrench Power Bomb onto the steel rampway. No Contest (0:00)The match never officially got started as Teddy Long made his way to the top of the entrance way. Long tells Swagger that he won’t get away with that here on ECW. If he wants to become an impact player here, he must win matches and not attack people beforehand. Long announces that at the next Pay-Per-View event, Unforgiven, it will be Jack Swagger taking on Rey Mysterio!Commercial Break.
Television Championship Tyler Black (c) vs. Hade Vansen w/ Gangrel & ECW Champion Kevin ThornYou could tell this match was important to the Brood as the entire team, including ECW Champion Kevin Thorn was in attendance for this one. The match itself was very good as the former teammates had each other well scouted. They had a counter and reversal for almost everything the other one did. After some great back and forth action, Black hit the Buckle Bomb. Before he could cover, Gangrel got on the apron to distract the referee. Thorn slid in and went to nail Black with the ECW Title, but Black ducked it and hit the Pele kick to the crowd’s delight. Suddenly, a woman who the WWE Universe has never seen ran down the ramp and got on the apron. Black must’ve recognized her as he went to talk to her. Once he got close enough though, she spit green mist into his face. Black turned around into a Spike DDT from Vansen to end it. Winner and NEW Television Champion: Hade Vansen (10:21) ***¼The Brood celebrated their victory along with their new female by their side. She is very pale, is wearing black and green and has green streaks in her hair. Commercial Break.Another ad is shown to promote the debut of “The Puerto Rican Nightmare” Eric Escobar.
In the back, The Brood are shown in a dark room. Hade Vansen is sitting in a corner just staring at his Television Title, while Kevin Thorn, Gangrel and the new woman are standing front and center. Thorn says that he has taken this girl under his wing as he wants the Brood to conquer all aspects of the WWE Universe, including the Women’s Division. He introduces her as Paradox, and calls her the future of Women’s wrestling.
Mr. Kennedy and Elijah Burke are shown walking to the ring on a split screen, their main event battle is next!Commercial Break.
Championship Scramble Qualifier Elijah Burke vs. Mr. KennedyMuch like their encounters back at Judgment Day, King of the Ring and Night of Champions, this was a back and forth battle. Burke took the upper hand after using some underhanded tactics. Kennedy fought back behind the crowd’s rally and hit a big shoulder block. The two were even after that until the end came. Burke had the Elijah Express set up, but as he ran, Kennedy turned and caught him with a big jumping clothesline. He then picked up Burke and hit the Green Bay Plunge for the victory. Winner: Mr. Kennedy (9:29) **¾Kennedy left up the ramp celebrating, while Burke was in the ring frustrated. He grabbed a microphone and yelled into it that he’s frustrated here on ECW. He realizes at that moment why he’s been struggling. He said that he’s not as focused as he was earlier in 2009, because he’s done everything there is to do on ECW this year. He dominated as ECW Champion and he wants a new challenge. So he finally just says “I quit ECW!” into the microphone and leaves the crowd wondering what’s going on.© WWE 2009
