Just wanted to say that this is one of the best sims diaries I have ever read. I know it's been a while since you've updated it, but I just wanted to pass that along. I'm really looking forward to how the storyline with Best in the World plays out. It really does seem like something that can shake the WWE to its very foundation. It sucks though that Kofi Kingston lost when he cashed in his Money-in-the-Bank briefcase. But still, great job thus far.

Joey Styles and Byron Saxton welcome us to this week’s edition of ECW which will have some pretty big fallout from King of the Ring two nights ago. They remind us that Ezekiel Jackson defeated John Morrison in a great ECW Title match and that Bryan Danielson fought valiantly but came up short in the King of the Ring Tournament.
Speaking of Bryan Danielson, he comes to the ring to open this week’s ECW. He has a very serious look on his face and he immediately grabs a microphone. He says that two weeks ago he promised Drew McIntyre that once he was done in the King of the Ring Tournament he was going to come for him. After coming within an inch of beating The Miz and going to the finals of a Tournament that could’ve granted him a World Title match, Drew McIntyre came out and cost him his dream. Not only has he cost him his dream but Danielson hasn’t forgotten that Drew attempted to end his career over a month ago. He demands that Drew come out here right now. Drew McIntyre’s theme hits as he comes out to the stage with the ECW Champion, Ezekiel Jackson. Drew says that Bryan needs to understand that there are more important things than his dreams. Things like the “Best in the World” coming together and the fact that Danielson is going to be nothing more than a stepping stone in his career. McIntyre tells Bryan to stay in the ring if he doesn’t want to deal with him and Ezekiel. Danielson tells him that he doesn’t care if he has Ezekiel or any member of the Best in the World with him, he will take him out. McIntyre and Jackson have walked down to ringside now and Danielson meets them with a huge suicide dive! The crowd goes nuts but the numbers game ends up hurting Danielson until John Morrison rushes down to even things out. Security comes down and breaks up the brawl. Theodore Long’s music hits as our General Manager is back from injury! He comes to the stage and annnouces that tonight’s main event will be a tag team match pitting Jackson and McIntyre against Danielson and Morrison!
Commercial Break
Alex Riley vs. The Hurricane | Riley managed to draw some good heat against The Hurricane tonight, as Hurricane is still one of the more popular stars on the ECW roster. Riley’s push for the Television Championship hit a bump in the road here though as he suffered a tough loss. The Hurricane put him down after hitting the Eye of the Storm. | Winner: The Hurricane [6:28] ** |
Our Television Champion Joe Hennig is shown watching on a monitor backstage when he is attacked from behind by Chris Masters, who locks him in the Masterlock. Hennig falls out and drops to the ground as Masters leaves with a smirk on his face.
Commercial Break
Ashley Valance is backstage with Zack Ryder and Courtney when we return. She asks Zack about getting back into the Television Title picture. Zack says that being the Television Champion was the most successful time of his career and he wants to get back to that place. He promises to fist pump his way back where he belongs.
Kaval vs. Paul Burchill w/ Katie Lea Burchill | These two have been at each other’s throats since they moved over to ECW in the draft, and in actuality this goes back to Kaval’s debut on Raw a year ago. Due to that time together they showed some pretty good chemistry and put on a good contest. Kaval was in control and went to the top for the Warrior’s Way but Katie Lea got on the apron, which distracted Kaval. That allowed Burchill to shake the ropes, knock Kaval to into a seated position on the top turnbuckle, climb up himself and connect with an awesome top rope C4 for the win. | Winner: Paul Burchill [7:17] **¾ |
Commercial Break We return to see the setup for the Abraham Washington Show. Aksana introduces out host, Abraham Washington. He comes out to some decent heat and introduces tonight’s special guest, Wade Barrett. Barrett comes to the stage and sits on a couch. Washington first asks Barrett about suffering his first loss two weeks ago in a number one contender’s match. Barrett says that it was a fluke because John Morrison is in no way better than him, but it did allow him to rest last week and figure out a way to prevent that from ever happening again. Washington then moves onto the big question on everyone’s mind, which is how Barrett feels about what he did to Theodore Long a few weeks back. We are taken to a video of Barrett hitting Long with the Wasteland. The cameras cut back to see Barrett with a huge grin on his face. He says that was one of the greatest feelings in his life because Long deserved it completely. He had the nerve to try and stand in the way of Wade Barrett’s personal takeover of ECW and he got what was coming to him. Teddy Long’s music hits as he comes to the stage. He tells Barrett that he had no right to give him the Wasteland and he’s going to suspend Barrett for one month! Barrett is livid at this announcement, but Long does say that Barrett has a chance to avoid this. If he can beat the special guest star that will be at ECW next week, he will not be suspended. Barrett quickly agrees and says it doesn’t matter who the guest is. Long is glad he feels that way because the guest is none other than John Cena! The crowd goes crazy and Barrett is furious. Commercial Break Bryan Danielson & John Morrison vs. Drew McIntyre & ECW Champion Ezekiel Jackson |

The top of the ECW food chain continues to put on good matches as this tag team main event was great. After starting out on a level playing field, McIntyre and Jackson began to wear down Danielson. They cut the ring in half and used frequent tags to really dominate this portion. Luckily, Danielson managed to escape McIntyre and make the tag to Morrison who came in like a house on fire. He looked like he had the win ready when he went for Starship Pain, but Jackson pulled McIntyre out of the ring and Morrison crashed and burned. Danielson then took out Jackson with a suicide dive, but McIntyre managed to escape into the ring and plant Morrison with the Scot Drop to get the 1-2-3.

Winners: Drew McIntyre & ECW Champion Ezekiel Jackson [10:19] ***

Danielson managed to get back into the ring about a split second too late. McIntyre and him began to trade shots in the ring and Danielson began to get the better of him. Jackson came from behind and clubbed him in the back, followed by putting him in the Torture Rack. The final shot of ECW is McIntyre shouting at Danielson as he’s locked in the painful hold.© WWE 2010

Hell to the yeah! Kev's back, bitchezzzz! Ahem...
A great opening segment with two members of the 'Best in the World' attacking Bryan Danielson. John Morrison for the save makes sense and a good tag team match scheduled for the Main Event. Good victory for The Hurricane, stumping Riley's push, but Riley will be back on his feet, I'm sure. Joe Hennig attacked by Chris Masters? Interesting. I'd love to see Chris Masters in with a shot. Huge win for Paul Burchill against Kaval, hopefully Kaval amounts to something soon on ECW. A very interesting Abraham Washington Show with Wade Barrett, and I love that John Cena will be on ECW next week, however I see Barrett pulling out the victory and remaining un-suspended. A victory for Drew McIntyre and the ECW Champion, Ezekiel Jackson makes perfect sense as the 'Best in the World' needs to be pushed to be a main feature of the WWE. To close on a shot of Bryan Danielson in the Torture Rack just shows the dominance. A great returning episode of ECW, can't wait to see more from you, my man.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 22nd June 2010...Alright, nice to see you back again. Bryan Danielosn kicking off the show was a fine way to start things off, liked his promo about the King of the Ring tournament and his tenacity. I could easily see him as ECW Champion by year's end. Drew McIntyre being the one to cost him the tournament was a great idea, as it gave Danielson and McIntyre something to feud about. Ezekiel Jackson helping McIntyre out eh? I like it. John Morrison making the save was a fine idea, and the tag team match sounds pretty decent. Alex Riley in his early days...ah. The Hurricane picking up the win was the right decision though. Up next, Paul Burchill and Kaval would have had a great match, but it didn't do a great deal for me, Burchill pickingu p the win was the best part. And up next, great Abraham Washington Show episode, with Abraham Washington introducing Wade Barrett. I forgot that Barrett attacked Theodore Long, and I liked Long's ultimatum towards Barrett; beating John Cena though? That's pretty mad huge. And lastly, a good tag team main event with Drew McIntyre and Ezekiel Jackson beating Bryan Danielson and John Morrison. Little to complain about really, Zeke is being pushed as a great ECW Champion. Overall, a pretty decent show, looking forward to seeing where this heads as approach the Bash next month.

- Kevin you're back finally, how long has it been though seriously?
- But in all seriousness I just read ECW and I must say that I love what I have seen so far out of it
- I love how Danielson opened the show and how he talked about coming this close to winning King of the Ring only for McIntyre to cost him his dream and how not too long ago it was McIntyre who tried to end his career and then the ECW Champion Ezekiel Jackson coming out with McIntyre and how the Best In The World have come together now and how everyone else are nothing but stepping stones, and then they are about to gang up on Danielson only for Morrison to come out and even the odds and then security breaking up the brawl was great
Hurricane beating Alex Riley was great too
The ECW Television Champion 3rd generation superstar Joe Hennig the son of Mr. Perfect the grandson of Larry The Ax Hennig is backstage watching the match only for Masters to attack him from behind and then lock in The Master Lock was great
Zack Ryder and Courtney interview with Ashley Valance I loved a whole lot too, I hope Ryder turns face and he ends up going for the ECW TV Title and he is back where he belongs
Paul Burchill beating Kaval in a great match-up I thought
Abraham Washington Show was great with Wade Barrett and that ultimatum Teddy Long gave him only for Barrett to go nuts was awesome
Imagine if Barrett does beat Cena, that would be a mega push in the right direction and I hope it happens especially if Cena is going to be on ECW next week
McIntyre and Jackson beating Morrison and Danielson was the main event and it didn't disappoint either

Great to see this back up, Kev! Welcome back!
Loved the opening segment as Danielson/McIntyre is probably the hottest feud going on in ECW at the moment. Great to see Best in the World continue to be pushed hard and see John Morrison come out for the save. I see Best in the World become almost like the nWo and slowly take over all three brands of the WWE. The Hurriane beating Alex Riley was great as it gives the younger Riley something to prove now over the veteran Hurricane. A feud between Joe Hennig and Chris Masters over the Television Championship can do wonders for them both. I'm a Zack Ryder fan and would love to see him get back into the Television Championship chase. Enjoyed the Paul Burchill/Kaval match as they are two athletes who deserve to be showcased on ECW. Looking forward to the John Cena/Wade Barrett match-up, as it can help get Barrett over as the top heel on ECW. The main event with Morrison/Danielson and McIntyre/Jackson was a great way to end the show. I really enjoy your ECW because you know how to showcase underutilized stars. Kudos!

A good opener with Bryan Danielson calling out McIntyre. A feud between the two sounds rather fascinating. The all-out brawl was a nice way to set up the main event. A fine opener with Hurricane going over Riley. I could see this rivalry being an enjoyable one. Chris Masters' attack on Joe Hennig seemed a bit random, but it serves its purpose. A feud to look forward to. The TV Title scene looks very solid at this point. Kaval and Burchill is a fantastic match-up. Both should maintain solid spots on ECW. Burchill going over is a fine call. Barrett/Cena is huge. Have the feeling Wade will pick up his biggest win yet next week. Lastly, a fine main event here. Expected win for Zeke and Drew as Best In The World needs the momentum. Very interested in seeing where this Danielson/McIntyre feud goes. A very good edition of ECW, and eagerly anticipating the further continuation of this diary.

June 25th, 2010 | Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire
Matt Striker and Todd Grisham welcome us to another exciting edition of Friday night Smackdown. They hype up tonight which will include a King of the Ring coronation for The Miz as well as a huge main event! That main event features the returning Rey Mysterio colliding with “The Viper” Randy Orton!
The theme of CM Punk hits as the WWE Champion makes his way down to the ring, flanked by the rest of the Straight Edge Society. They get in the ring and Punk begins to brag about King of the Ring. He says that he has consistently proven, time and time again, that he is better than everyone, especially Jeff Hardy. Jeff keeps trying but keeps failing because people who live Jeff’s lifestyle are never going to get ahead of straight edge warriors. Punk continues to go on a rant about being straight edge until Jeff’s music hits and he comes out to the stage. He admits that Punk has had his number recently, but also says that it has nothing to do with the mistakes he’s made in his past. He wants one more chance at the World Title, but is suddenly cut off by Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin says that with all due respect to Jeff Hardy, it’s about time someone else got a chance at the top of Smackdown and who better than the “Gold Standard” himself. He says that while he used to have great matches with Punk and respected him as a competitor, the change in his attitude and his preaching ways have soiled his image. Punk says that he would love to beat some sense into Shelton and Jeff tonight with Drew Gallows. Hardy says that as much as he would love to get in the ring with them, he’s already booked tonight. Shelton says that he promises to find a partner and take them out. It looks like a big match has been booked for tonight!
Commercial Break
The Miz is now shown arriving at the arena with a very smug look on his face. Josh Matthews caught up to him and asked him what he has planned for tonight. Miz says that tonight we will witness the official coronation of our 2010 King of the Ring. He promised us all the “Year of Awesome” and it’s on the absolute right track right now.
Stephanie McMahon is shown in her office alongside Vickie Guerrero as always. A knock is heard and the Big Show enters the room. He trades pleasantries with Stephanie before cutting to the chase that he wants the same thing as Jeff Hardy and Shelton Benjamin and that’s to be next in line for a shot at the WWE Championship. Stephanie says that she has been getting this talk from all angles and she’s talking it over with Vickie and a decision will be made very soon. Show understands and walks off looking mildly satisfied.
Commercial Break
Cody Rhodes vs. Goldust | The self-proclaimed “Prince of Pro Wrestling” has been doing everything he can to prove that he is the heir to the great Rhodes name and that his brother is a disgrace. These two turned in a good match and the brother chemistry was more than obvious. Rhodes seemed like he would be the one to win as he was in control, but Goldust broke free of the Cross Rhodes and rolled his brother up for the victory. | Winner: Goldust [7:06] **½ |
Cody is in shock and furious that he just lost to his so-called “lesser” brother. Goldust has a smile on his face as he heads up the ramp in victory.
Commercial Break
We return to see the United States Champion Jack Swagger and Gail Kim in the dressing room. As two members of the Best in the World, the WWE Universe has a lot of questions for them. Naturally, Ashley Valance enters and asks them about their agenda for tonight. Swagger says that they will do what they do best and that’s win their match. They will defeat R-Truth and April Lee and continue to be the best in the world. Kim says that she has loved putting Lee in her place over the past few weeks and it will happen again tonight.

WWE World Tag Team Champions The Dudebusters w/ Curt Hawkins & The Jung Dragons w/ Jamie Noble vs. The South Beach Party Boys, Paul London & Brian Kendrick

This was a great way to showcase the tag team division on Smackdown, although the Jung Dragons and the Dudebusters did not get along very well. Despite that this contest featured some very fast paced action and frequent tags. Near the end some arguing between the Dragons and Dudebusters allowed Kendrick to pin Yang after hitting him with the Sliced Bread.

Winners: The South Beach Party Boys, Paul London & Brian Kendrick [7:11] **½

London and Kendrick make a statement in their return to Friday nights. The Dudebusters were not happy that a new team on the horizon has put the first steps into gaining momentum.
We now see Shelton Benjamin walking towards the ring with Christian. It looks like Benjamin has found a great partner for his upcoming match.Commercial BreakWWE Champion CM Punk & Drew Gallows w/ The Straight Edge Society vs. Christian & Shelton Benjamin |

Gallows surprised a lot of people by keeping up with the three amazing other athletes in this contest. He used his size to his advantage and wore down Benjamin. Punk and Gallows used cheating tactics from their partners outside to help them cut the ring in half on Christian later on. He did manage to make the hot tag eventually and Benjamin came in to the match and lit up both Punk and Gallows. In the end, Benjamin got the victory after he put down Gallows with Paydirt.

Winners: Christian & Shelton Benjamin [10:25] **¾

Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero are shown watching on the monitor backstage and Rey Mysterio enters. Stephanie welcomes him back and he says that he knows he’s been gone for a while but he would also like to throw his name in the hat for the WWE Championship. Stephanie tells him that a victory over Randy Orton tonight would go a long way towards a title shot. Rey agrees and says that it will be his pleasure to get revenge on Randy and to defeat him.Commercial Break“Awesome” is heard loudly through the arena as The Miz comes down to the ring, which is set up with a red carpet and has a throne, crown and cape inside. He gets in the ring and begins to speak. He starts by talking about how he went from MTV’s The Real World and being a huge fan of the WWE, to being the runner up on Tough Enough, to being the host of Smackdown to his tag teams with John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler. He says that since the draft he’s been able to finally shine on his own and this past Sunday he proved that the “Year of Awesome” is indeed upon us. Not only did he take down Bryan Danielson, but he defeated “Captain Charisma” and now has a guaranteed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam. He mentions that so many of the blue brand’s stars are vying for a Championship match but he isn’t worried about that because he is the King of the Ring and nobody in the WWE can stop his quest for the WWE Championship. It’s what he’s wanted for his entire life. He puts on the crown and poses for the crowd to end the segment. Jeff Hardy vs. Tyler Black |

Two of the top faces on Smackdown collided here and they put on a fantastic match. It seems like it may go down as one of those forgotten classics in the future, but man was it good. They went back and forth and it really showcased how Black can be a new generation version of Jeff Hardy in just a few years. He seemed on the verge of one of the year’s biggest upsets but he missed his patented Phoenix Splash. That allowed Jeff to climb to the top himself and connect to the Swanton Bomb for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Jeff Hardy [10:47] ***½

After the match, Jeff and Tyler shook hands in the middle of the ring in a great show of sportsmanship. The cameras cut to the back to catch the Straight Edge Society backstage looking extremely upset with how their night has gone. Punk is yelling at them because it was supposed to be a joyous night celebrating his win over Jeff Hardy but instead they lost a tag match and he has more challengers than ever before. He storms out of the room looking highly agitated.Commercial BreakOnce again we see Stephanie and Vickie’s office when Randy Orton enters. Stephanie already presumes that he wants a WWE Title match. He admits that’s what he wants. She tells him the same thing she told Rey Mysterio and that’s that a win in tonight’s main event will do him wonders. Orton smirks and leaves, as Stephanie and Vickie seem stressed about the title situation.April Lee & R-Truth vs. Gail Kim & United States Champion Jack Swagger | As with most mixed tag team contests, this wasn’t given that much time, but provided some quality entertainment. The Best in the World combination of Swagger and Kim showed great chemistry, which continues the group’s good showing in their first week together. Lee continues to show improvement every week, but in the end, Swagger put down Truth with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. | Winner: Gail Kim & United States Champion Jack Swagger [5:01] ** |
Commercial BreakRandy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio |

These two met back at Extreme Rules in the middle of Randy Orton’s losing streak and after the match, Orton delivered a vicious punt to his skull. That set Orton off the deep end as he punted even more Superstars on a weekly basis after. The match itself was very good, not up to par with Extreme Rules though. After some great back and forth, Orton hit his trademark rope hung DDT and began to stalk Rey for the RKO. Rey dodged it though and set up for the 619. He was looking to go 3-0 against Orton this year, but Orton dodged the 619 and went for the DDT again. Rey broke free and went for the West Coast Pop but Orton caught him with a mid-air RKO and sealed the win.

Winner: Randy Orton [10:24] ***

Orton didn’t even celebrate before he began to square up for the punt kick again. Shelton Benjamin rushed down to the ring and intercepted him. As they brawled, out came the Straight Edge Society, Big Show and Jeff Hardy and the ring just turned into a giant rumble. Stephanie McMahon’s music hit and she came to the stage while everything began to calm. She announced that she and Vickie have come up with a solution for the WWE Championship. On that night, CM Punk will defend his WWE Championship against Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio & Shelton Benjamin in a Six Pack Challenge match! Everyone is in shock and CM Punk is absolutely furious about this announcement.© WWE 2010

Smackdown Review
CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society opening the show off talking about Jeff Hardy and how he failed at King of the Ring to get the WWE Championship away from him, and that time and time again because of his druggie past that he will never amount to anything and that being straight edge is the way to go until Jeff Hardy himself comes out and interrupts CM Punk basically asking for another shot and that this time with the gold on the line, he will beat Punk until Shelton Benjamin interrupts and then basically says no disrespect to Jeff but it is about time that someone else gets a chance at the gold and that someone being Shelton and that even Shelton used to have respect for Punk until he basically adopted this holier than thou attitude and trying to be a savior
The Miz backstage acting cocky, he has every right to be considering he won King of the Ring and that he is coming out for his coronation
Stephanie McMahon backstage also and Big Show comes in and says he wants the WWE Championship much like Jeff and Shelton, that can only mean one thing, Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Title
Goldust the older brother beats Cody Rhodes the younger brother, I hope that these 2 have a rivalry and what would make it even more personal is if they include their WWE Hall of Fame father Dusty Rhodes The American Dream in this feud between these 2 brothers, and which side would Dusty be on? Would he side with Cody over Goldust? Or would he side with Goldust over Cody?
WWE United States Champion Jack Swagger & Kim 2 members of Best In The World on Smackdown talking about their match-up later on with Truth and April Lee, and how they are going to prove without a shadow of a doubt that they are the best
The South Beach Party Boys and London & Kendrick beating The Dudebusters & The Jung Dragons in the Eight Man Tag Team Match, I love that, and I hope you build up the Tag Team Division because there are a lot of teams like Dudebusters, Jung Dragons, South Beach Party Boys, London & Kendrick, Hart Dynasty, The Usos should you have them make their debuts, you can really revitalize the Tag Division
Christian is Shelton's partner, this is going to be awesome
Christian & Benjamin beating Punk and Gallows, awesome
Miz's coronation on Smackdown, that whole segment, I really love how you are building up Miz to be a threat on Smackdown and that since everyone is vying for the WWE Title, Miz doesn't even need to worry, he is in the main event at SummerSlam against whoever the WWE Champion ends up being
Jeff Hardy vs Tyler Black first time ever match-up on Smackdown, this is like a dream match, 2 of perhaps Smackdown's biggest faces on the roster facing each other and it was a back and forth match-up the whole way through but Jeff comes out on top and in a true example of sportsmanship they shake hands after the match
My man Randy Orton showing up backstage in Stephanie's office and Stephanie saying she knows why Randy is here, he wants the WWE Title as well and he says he does and Stephanie telling him that if he wins his match tonight, getting a shot will be in my man Orton's future
Rey also wants the WWE Title and Stephanie telling him that if he wins, that he will get a shot as well
Gail Kim and Swagger beating Truth and April Lee is great
Randy Orton my man beating Rey Mysterio in a great match-up, I thought, and it was back and forth the whole way throughout, and Randy my man was about to punt Rey in the skull yet again until Shelton sticks his big fat nose into something that is none of his concern, and then they brawl, and then Punk comes out and then Big Show and then Jeff and all hell breaks loose between all of these guys
And then Stephanie makes the announcement that Punk will defend his WWE Championship against Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, my man Randy Orton, and Shelton Benjamin in a Six Pack Challenge
And I guess the Six Pack Challenge Match will be at The Bash and if it is, then Punk's days as WWE Champion are numbered especially since he has to defend his title against 5 other guys
And if Punk can retain here, then he has to face Miz at SummerSlam and I can't see him beating Miz

I've always enjoyed the feud with CM Punk and Jeff Hardy. Considering they are polar opposites of one another, it just clicks. A nice little surprise to have Shelton Benjamin throw his hat in the ring now and challenge Punk for the WWE Championship. I must say you did a tremendous job turning the Gold Standard into a main event player. Great feud between Cody Rhodes and Goldust to see who is the better man to carry on the Rhodes legacy. It would be nice to see "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes get involved. Great 8-man tag team match featuring four tag teams and great to see a potential Londrick/Dudebusters rivalry. Having Christian and Benjamin win over the Straight Edge Society was a great call to help raise their stock in going after the WWE Championship. The King of the Ring concept is perfect for someone like the Miz as it helps elevate him even more. It will be interesting to see who he will challenge at SummerSlam though. Great match-up between Hardy and Tyler Black. Seeing Black hang with Hardy really helps him out. Like I said with my ECW review, I'm enjoying seeing Best in the World getting pushed with another win with Jack Swagger and Gail Kim. They could very well take over all of the WWE. Like usual, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio put on another great match with Orton picking up the victory. Great call for a six-pack challenge featuring the SmackDown elite. Anyone of them could walk away with the title. Another great show!

WWE SmackDown: Friday 25th June 2010...I feel like you have gotten your groove back with these shows personally speaking, Kev. CM Punk kicking off the show was nice, I'm glad to see the Straight Edge Society dominating the SmackDown brand. Great promo on Jeff Hardy, and I see you're going ahead with the program he had with Jeff Hardy in the Summer of 2009 that you never got around to doing. I'm interested in what The Miz will have to say tonight. Cody Rhodes and Goldust is a solid way to kick off the show in the ring, good exchange and I do like the "Prince of Pro Wrestling" monicker, although it does sound like something from Ring of Honor. Goldust with the win was a surprise, but I liked the roll-up finish. I see revenge in Cody's eyes. I could see them meeting at The Bash in July. Up next, great way to showcase the tag team division with the South Beach Party Boys (God I hate that name so much), Paul London and Brian Kendrick managing to knock a victory off of the Dudebusters and the Jung Dragons. I like the Dudebusters being intimidated by London and Kendrick's arrival though. Our first hour main event was quite good, with Christian and Shelton Benjamin managing to defeat CM Punk and Luke Gallows, never really liked Gallows in this role though, I hope you give him some actual personality. You've made Benjamin uppercard material, and I'm glad. Bringing us into the second hour is The Miz's promo, and it was quite good, glad to see his coronation as the King of the Ring. I'm looking forward to seeing what is next for him. I was just surprised that nobody interrupted him to propell him into an actual feud headed for the Bash in a few weeks. I imagine we'll see something next week anyway. Jeff Hardy and Tyler Black is in an odd position on the card, I'd have placed this match before the promo but nevermind, great match here and Hardy with the win was the right decision. Don't rush Black up the card too soon please. I do see him as a next generation Jeff Hardy though. The handshake was nice, but I do like Punk and the Society not being pleased with Black's actions. Up next, an interesting blend of talent with the mixed tag team match, but Jack Swagger putting R-Truth down was the right decision. I imagine Gail Kim and April Lee are feuding, I can't remember correctly. And lastly, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio meeting up one more time in the main event was quite a good decision. Great to see Orton with the impressive counter finish to get the win. Wow, I'm looking forward to this Six Pack Challenge match at the Bash (although that wasn't made clear really). It proves the top talent on the SmackDown brand, anyway. A pretty good show.

A good opening segment, good to see The Straight Edge Society in control of SmackDown and that's a big match made for later. Goldust over Cody Rhodes was a shocker, and I'm sure we'll be seeing Cody get some revenge soon. Huge victory for the faces in that Eight-Man Tag Team Match, but as Dan mentioned, I hate that name 'The South Beach Party Boys'... eugh. Christian and Shelton Benjamin going over was the right call here, it makes them look like strong contenders for CM Punk's WWE Championship. Interesting segment with The Miz there. A good win for Jeff Hardy, keeping him strong. Definitely happy to see Jack Swagger and Gail Kim with a victory here, but it would be interesting to see R-Truth become the United States Champion somewhere down the line. Lastly, a Main Event that I'm sure would be great, and Randy Orton going over was a good call. The Six Pack Challenge is the only way to get these six men involved in the WWE Championship situation which they all deserve, but I see CM Punk leaving with the gold either way.

But if CM Punk leaves with the gold, think about this though if Punk retains the WWE Championship, he would have to face The Miz at SummerSlam and I am sure Kev wouldn't want a heel vs heel match-up at SummerSlam in the main event unless you plan on turning Miz face or you plan on turning Punk face altogether, so either way it wouldn't work
That is why a face needs to walk out WWE Champion at The Bash, which is why I think it will either be Jeff Hardy, Big Show, Rey Mysterio or Shelton Benjamin that will walk out champion because then that way Punk can get his rematch clause at SummerSlam and then Miz with his guaranteed shot, makes it a Triple-Threat Match for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam
But either one of these scenarios I don't see happening, my man Orton is walking out WWE Champion at The Bash and then he will face Miz and Punk in a Triple-Threat for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam
And for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, Jericho who is The Best In The World leader will defend his title against whoever, I will go out on a limb and say that it will be The Undertaker

Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the longest running episodic show in television history. They remind us that the “Best in the World” has formed and had a successful first week in the WWE. They face a tough test tonight when Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio take on Edge and Kickoff Kingston! They remind us that Kingston attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank contract last week, but Del Rio ruined what would’ve been the biggest night in his career.
John Cena’s theme music hits as the man who embodies “hustle, loyalty, and respect” comes down to the ring to open our broadcast. He gets in the ring and begins by reminding everyone that he will be at ECW tomorrow night to go one on one with Wade Barrett. He promised Theodore Long that he will help teach Barrett some respect and he plans on doing just that. He then shifts focus to the ECW Champion himself, Ezekiel Jackson. Last week he wanted to take out a member of the Best in the World and he was given Jackson, but thanks to a timely assist from Drew McIntyre, Jackson pinned his shoulders to the mat. Cena gives Jackson credit and admits that he is a dominating presence, but that does not change the fact that Cena wants him out here right now.
Chris Jericho’s theme hits as the entire Best in the World come to the stage. Jericho says that Cena will need to learn how things are going to go around here from now on. They will call people out and not be called out. He says that as much as Jackson would love to hurt Cena once again, Jericho has advised him not to do it again as he has nothing to prove. It’s Cena who has to prove that he can top the dominance that is Ezekiel Jackson. Cena says he wants to show the world right now. John “Bradshaw” Layfield appears on the titantron and says that people need to remember that he runs things around here. He says that he has decided on a big match for The Bash Pay-Per-View as Ezekiel Jackson will go one on one with John Cena! The crowd goes wild at this announcement but he has two more to make. He says that the “Best in the World” will be featured in two tag team matches tonight. One will see Drew McIntyre & Jackson team up to face Cena and Bryan Danielson! The other will be tonight’s main event when Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho take on Kofi Kingston & Edge! The “Best in the World” are not happy about this announcement as we go to commercial.
Commercial Break
Singles Match | John Morrison vs. Sheamus | With John Cena visiting ECW tomorrow night, Morrison was on loan from ECW tonight. He faced a tough test in Sheamus and this contest went back and forth. Ted Dibiase Jr., who still isn’t cleared to wrestle, was on commentary. Morrison looked to be on the verge of victory until he missed Starship Pain. Sheamus then connected with the Brogue Kick and got the 1-2-3. | Winner: Sheamus [8 :26]*** |
After the match, Sheamus gets in Dibiase’s face. They jaw at each other for a few until Sheamus mushes Ted to the ground. The referee intervenes before more can go down and Dibiase looked livid.
Commercial Break
Ashley Valance is standing by with Elijah Burke, who she says requested this time. Burke says that he wanted to make sure that everyone knows he still has his eyes locked on the Intercontinental Championship. He claims that it is rightfully his and even though Mr. Kennedy is the current number one contender, he wants to be next in line. He is interrupted by Carlito, who stakes his claim to the Intercontinental Title. They jaw at each other until Burke tells Carlito that they should just prove who’s better in a match next week. Carlito agrees and it looks like the competition for the Intercontinental Title is heating up!
Singles Match | Curt Hawkins w/ The Dudebusters vs. Evan Bourne w/ Justin Angel | The Airbourne Angels have been tearing up the tag team scene lately and a date with the Tag Team Champions seems like it's right around the corner. Beating one of the three champions tonight would only help their cause. This was better than expected as they did a lot with their little bit of time and after some back and forth action, Bourne picked up the victory following the AirBourne. | Winner: Evan Bourne [6:01]**¾ |
We now see John Cena and Bryan Danielson together in the back talking strategy. Their big tag team match against the “Best in the World” is up next!
Commercial Break
Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler is shown warming up in the locker room, when Ashley Valance comes up to him and asks him about his title defense against Mr. Kennedy tonight. Ziggler says that he's never worried about any match because he is the best Intercontinental Champion in the history of the WWE. He guarantees to steal the show every single night and it begins tonight. He will show the world that nobody is better than Dolph Ziggler.

Bryan Danielson & John Cena vs. Drew McIntyre & ECW Champion Ezekiel Jackson

Boy, did Danielson and Cena make a great team tonight. They managed to incorporate a few double team moves early on and really had great chemistry. Towards the middle of the match though, Jackson and McIntyre cut the ring in half and really worked over Danielson. He managed to make the hot tag though and Cena came in roaring, running through both members of the other team. Cena finished the flurry by nailing McIntyre with the FU and picking up the victory!

Winners: Bryan Danielson and John Cena [11:28] ***¼

Danielson and Cena celebrated handing the “Best in the World” their first loss. Jackson and McIntyre retreated up the ramp as it was clear that Danielson and Cena are far from done with WWE's newest stable.Commercial BreakWe return to hear the theme of Kofi Kingston, the former Mr. Money in the Bank, who failed at cashing in his briefcase last week on Raw. He is just not the usually happy Kofi Kingston that everyone is used to. He grabs a microphone and begins a somber speech about how his dream, ever since he was a little boy, was to be the World Heavyweight Champion. He talked about how he's worked his way up to the top throughout his career and got to the point where he could taste the gold last week. But Alberto Del Rio intervened and destroyed his dream. He calls Del Rio out to the ring right now. Del Rio obliges, but only comes out to the stage, flanked by Gail Kim. Del Rio tells Kofi to stop crying and take what happened like a man. Kofi promises that he will get his revenge, but says that a tag team match tonight won't do him justice. He wants Del Rio one on one at “The Bash”! Del Rio denies, but Kofi says when he got to the arena tonight he asked General Manager Layfield for the match and was granted it! The crowd roars loudly as Del Rio is fuming while Kim tries to calm him down. Commercial BreakIntercontinental Championship |

Dolph Ziggler [c] vs. Mr. Kennedy

Dolph Ziggler's promise to show the world that he is the best Intercontinental Champion got off to a good start tonight. Despite a solid back and forth match where Mr. Kennedy did everything he could to win the coveted Intercontinental Title, Ziggler came away with the victory. He was much more of a showoff than usual tonight, doing a headstand midway through a headlock and kicking up after an elbow drop. He retained the belt by hitting Kennedy with the Zig Zag.

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler [9:43] ***

Ziggler celebrated with his belt and continually shouted about how good he truly is. We cut to the back where John Bradshaw Layfield is in his office. A knock is heard and in steps the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho. He asks JBL why he requested to see him. JBL says that due to Edge's rematch for the belt last week ending via disqualification, Edge has been granted another shot. This one will happen live on Pay-Per-View at The Bash! Jericho didn't get angry as one would expect. Instead, he calmly said that it doesn't matter as he's not the Best in the World for nothing.Commercial BreakDivas Match | Layla w/ Divas's Champion Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James | The rivalry between James and Team LayCool continued here tonight in this singles contest. As usual, this match didn't get that much time, but was good as Layla has shown some solid in-ring improvement. Jame is a veteran though and proved to be too much as she put her down with the Mick Kick. | Winner: Mickie James [3:55] ** |
James motioned to McCool that she's coming for the Divas Championship. McCool backed away with Layla and looked very worried.
We cut to the back where we see Edge and Kofi Kingston prepping for the main event which is up next! Kofi Kingston looks extremely focused and seems to be a man on a mission.Commercial BreakTag Team Match | Alberto Del Rio & World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho w/ Gail Kim |
vs. Edge & Kofi Kingston

After a bitter rivalry towards the end of 2009, Edge and Kingston picked up some in-ring chemistry as they worked as a pretty well oiled machine. Kingston is in fact, a man on a mission as he was all business in the ring tonight. Surprisingly, it was Edge who the Best in the World cut the ring in half again. He fought his way through it and made the hot tag to Kingston, who electrified the arena when he got the hot tag. He connected with Trouble in Paradise on Del Rio, only to get leveled in the back of the head with the World Heavyweight Title by Jericho!

Winners via disqualification: Edge & Kofi Kingston [12:54] ***¼

Jericho stood over Kingston and hoisted the World Title high in the air, only to get leveled with a huge Spear from the Rated R Superstar! Edge grabbed the World Heavyweight Title and stared at it for a few moments before raising it in the air to the crowd's approval as we fade out.© WWE 2010

I like the announcement of Ezekiel against Cena at The Bash. I was surprised to see him win last week, so I expect Cena to get the W at The Bash. An expected win for Sheamus. I like the after match antics with DiBiase. I would really like to see DiBiase get the win at the PPV. I really like the IC Title picture. A lot of good names in there. A good win for Evan Bourne. I would think that the Airbourne Angels get the title shot at The Bash. I'm kind of disappointed that TBITW lost. I was hoping they would dominate everyone put in their way. I like the mean Kofi we got tonight. You could tell that he wants to not only beat Del Rio, he wants to hurt him. A good title defense for Ziggler. I was hoping Kennedy would get the belt, but I'm also a fan of Ziggler. Good win for Mickie. I can easily see her getting the crapat The Bash. Stinks that Kofi didn't get to pin Del Rio, but a good cheap shot from Jericho. I wasn't expecting Edge to hit the Spear, but what a great ending to Raw that was! I very good show. I really like the way you layout your show and I really like all of the story lines you have going on right now. Great job!

Hey, dude! I remeber checking this thread out some time ago and really liked what I read as you had some great storylines and stuff. I was sad to see it end and hoped that you may bring it back someday so I'm glad you're resuming it.
I enjoyed this episode of Raw. Jericho has a cool United Nations-type stable and its interesting to see Edge and Kofi gunning for his belt. I'm not so sure about the whole 'exchaning belts thing' but we'll see where this goes. Some of the other stuff you've got going on is also pretty intriguing.
All in all a goosd show and again I'm glad to see this is continuing. Keep up the good work. And I hope you check out my diary as well.

WWE Monday Night RAW Wow, it's been a long time since I've read this classic. Perhaps the greatest current WWE diary of all time? Good way to kick off the show with John Cena calling out Ezekiel Jackson, only for Jericho to come out instead. Jackson and Cena may not sound like an appetizing match to some, but it's great for the Best in the World storyline. Two huge tag matches tonight, awesome. Sheamus defeating Morrison in the first match of the night is fine, probably a good match. DiBiase and Sheamus at the Bash could be fun. Liked the segment between Burke and Carlito to set up some competition in the Intercontinental Championship division. Bourne over Hawkins is alright, probably yet another good match tonight. Cena and Bryan over Best in the World was a nice first hour main event, hopefully Jackson and McIntyre do something to get their heat back tomorrow on ECW. Glad to see Kingston getting promo time after his failure to capture the World Championship last week, a match with Del Rio at the Bash can be great. Ziggler retaining the Intercontinental Championship over Mr. Kennedy is fine with me, this show has been stacked with some enjoyable matches tonight. Jericho and Edge at the Bash for the title is great news, card seems to be shaping up nicely. Predictable win for James over Layla in her hunt for the title, nothing much you could do about that however. Finally, an awesome main event to close out the show. Disqualification finish after the Trouble in Paradise was the best way to go with all of these guys facing each other on pay-per-view in a few weeks. Great ending to the show as Jericho gets laid out by the Spear. Overall, an enjoyable episode of RAW with some great matches, but I felt like there wasn't too much story progression outside of the Best in the World/WWE Superstars feud. The Bash is still shaping up to be a stacked card, anyway.
