Ok so I've got a question... Today I was trying to get the acheivement where you win a fight without going for a takedown or using ground game. I knocked him out but, it didn't give me my acheievement. I did knock him down twice and then the game stood me over him, wanting me to smash his face in. Does that count as a grapple or ground game even though I didn't throw a punch from that position? 1. Made sure its agasint a UFC Fighter, and not a CAF 2. You should have got it already because by what yuou have said, you should have it. |

I really like how they update the advertisements on the mat and replays with current stuff like it has 'Diaz vs. Guida' now. Noticed that today as well. Very cool. |

So I am playing as Bisping and I knock Henderson out in 10 seconds, it was sweet. Whats your guy's fastest knock out or submission? I was playing with my dad the other night, reliving the old days sitting around the TV playing Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. I was taking it kind of easy on him, but he didn't even give me the chance to take it easy in one of the fights. I was Kongo, he was Sylvia. I charged him and went for a Suprerman at the opening bell, and he threw a right hook. Knocked me out in 0:06. My dad holds the record for the house, now. |

I have won a fight by knock out in 7 sec. and one in 8 sec. neither were in career mode. My fastest in career mode was 15 sec.

I finally got to play it  (Best Buy, Thursday June 18th) *Only 1 match, but was fun* My friend & I like going to best buy to play the video game set ups & look at movies/games So they had UFC: I was Broc Lesnar vs computer (cant remember who) I won by knock out 2nd round (This was Xbox 360) |

no disrespect to the 155 pund weight class....but who wants to see fights finish here? Im come i'm going to try to knock you out try to submit you, thats what I do I finish fights

Do you unlock fighters when you win in season? If you go through the entire mode and retire undefeated, you unlock a Lightweight called Punk Ass. I actually got him three fights before I retired. He has a 74 overall, and has a Kickboxing and BJJ style. I've heard rumors that Dana is in the game, but I've yet to see that for myself. |

You should have got it already because by what yuou have said, you should have it. Actually, the CPU counts standing over a rocked opponent as taking the fight to the ground. |

The best thing to do in that situation is to wait for a "rocked" opponent to get back up, then try to finish him with a big punch or kick. Eventually, you'll score the KO.
For those having trouble with the flip of this achievement, which is a submission with no striking, I can vouch that big slams from wrestlers don't count as striking. The best thing to do is to pick a solid wrestler and slam slam slam, then eventually lock on a submission to get the win and the achievement.

For the submission without striking I picked my last created fighter which thru career mode I had got up to 97 overall rating and then picked the lowest rated guy at that weight class and then just kept taking him down and going for submission after submission. If he got up I would just take him down again do the wrestling slam thing and go for another submission and by the end of the first round he tapped out.
The only unlockables for sure are the tapout guys you get them by doing different things in the game.
Punk ass-- by gaining Tapout as a sponsor in career mode
Mask--by winning three straight fights in career mode by submission
Skyskrape--by doing a button code in the start up menu
At the title screen, press Up, Up, Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Start
I seen one that was suppose to get you Dana but it didn't seem to work for me. It said you had to beat 4 specific fighters by KO and 4 others by submission. Just found the list again.
Submit:
Frank Mir, George St. Pierre, Demian Maia, BJ Penn
Knockout:
Quinton Jackson, Anderson Silva, Brock Lesnar, Kenny Florian
