For the submission without striking I picked my last created fighter which thru career mode I had got up to 97 overall rating and then picked the lowest rated guy at that weight class and then just kept taking him down and going for submission after submission. If he got up I would just take him down again do the wrestling slam thing and go for another submission and by the end of the first round he tapped out. The only unlockables for sure are the tapout guys you get them by doing different things in the game. Punk ass-- by gaining Tapout as a sponsor in career mode Mask--by winning three straight fights in career mode by submission Skyskrape--by doing a button code in the start up menu At the title screen, press Up, Up, Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Start I seen one that was suppose to get you Dana but it didn't seem to work for me. It said you had to beat 4 specific fighters by KO and 4 others by submission. Just found the list again. Submit: Frank Mir, George St. Pierre, Demian Maia, BJ Penn Knockout: Quinton Jackson, Anderson Silva, Brock Lesnar, Kenny Florian can someone explain to me why Skyscrape can have his hair...yet they wanted Clay Guida to cut his hair? I don't know, but it's rediculous.

That is stupid, Guida should be in the game, with his hair regardless....it was quite disappointing when i heard that.

I was just playing the demo earlier and I was playing as Shogun. And I had Liddel in a muy thai clinch which I then clicked in the RS button and which made me go for the flying armbar.
Does anyone who has the game know if you need to hit any other button after hitting the RS button to do an armbar?
Hope that was easy to understand.

It sounds like you got the armbar applied, you just need to finish it... To do that, you either rotate the right analog stick in a circle, or mash the A/B/X/Y buttons.

I would have rather them just gave him short hair in the game than take him out all together.

How do you get someone's back? I'm trying to do the classic fights but can't ever get the rear naked choke. I did it with each fight in Classics by getting Mount, then not blocking their attempt to escape which basically involves them rolling through & giving you their back so just press RSB & there you go. Hope this helps

Minor transition to side control, major transition to back mount. Second, get in guard, then rubber guard your opponent. Minor transition into side control, major transition to back mount. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. Be sure to check if your guy has BJJ as a tourniquet or else you won't be able to do rubber guard. Also, and this is more general-purpose, try to get rubber guard down. It's beastly if you can get it right.

I'd say it goes over the line from "beastly" right into Cheapsville. Somebody can hold you in it, and from there you have 3 chances at most of escaping. After your third failed attempt, they're going to roll you over into mount no matter what. And chances are if the player knows how to rubberguard spam like that, you won't get out of his mount. Alternatively, you can try to flick the stick back and reverse it, but the timing window is so microscopic that it's almost not worth it. I say almost because basically you're picking whether you want to get rolled over in three attempts or one.

I honestly have to disagree with you bro. In my play time, rubber guard is great if you know how to use it, but can be null and void if somebody knows how to defend it. For as many mounts as I've gotten, I've had just as many failed rubber guard attempts or rubber guard breaks. It all depends on how good on the ground you are, IMO.

So I finally got my 100th win in Ranked and my 1,000,000 fan achievements. Would've have both of them about ten fights sooner if people wouldn't be bitches and disconnect when they know they're gonna lose. Where the heck is that "you disconnect=you lose" DLC?!

Currently 20-0-0 & Middleweight Champion in career. Just need to get my grappling technique award and a submission of the night award, and I'm sure I'll be put in the HOF, so that'll do for the 'trophy collector' trophy, all the while getting the 'No Touch' trophy for going undefeated.

Don't you hate when you have an absolute barn burner and don't get fight of the night?
