Well I tried Expert for the first time today and Shogun made me tap to an armbar in like 30 seconds of the first round, then the next fight he knocked me out with a flying knee..

Finally tasted victory on expert in a match that lasted longer than 3 seconds. Once you've felt out expert you can't go back, so addictive.

i find expert pretty easy until I get grounded, I've managed to avoid getting knocked out so far but eventually shogun always locks in an armbar.

On expert Shogun always seems to submit me with a triangle choke... But I love this game so much ;D

Just had an awesome KO.
It's late in round 1, Rua (me) and Chuck are just going back and forth striking, till I catch him with a shot that rocks him. He goes down and I get on top and start punching him like mad, but he starts to recover on the ground till I rock him AGAIN! He still manages to survive my punching barrage and right as he is getting back to his feet I throw a monster left hook that catches him on the button. This time he doesn't get up.
Winner via KO @ 4:58 of RD1 - Shogun Rua

hey how do i bring down lidell into an armbar. I seen a video where a guy was standing and out of no where grabbed lidell into an armbar. also how do u bring someone down into a guilotine?

I love how the commentators point out cuts and swelling on a guy's face. They mentioned how bad Chuck's right eye was getting, so I just kept punching him in the face to make it worse. I even wasted time at the end of the round just to get the closeups between rounds to see his face. ...then I was knocked out by a Superman punch in the next round.  |

As soon as I saw what you needed to do for submissions, I immediately thought "Mario Party Lawsuits"... Well you can also tap any of the face buttons... that's what I do. Yeah but the whole two options thing there.  |

I swear submissions are  ing impossible to pull off, even on beginner. I get nailed every time I go on expert. I really want to win via decision to see what it's like, but I/the computer ends up doing a awesome punch when just filling time |

The closest I've gotten to a decision had approx 1:30 left in the match, and then Liddell knocked me out. |

Man this si sooooo realistic. Being in the clinch (body or thai) will gass you out in a heart beat. I put Liddell in the thai clinch for about 15 seconds and he blocked every knee. I came out of it doubled over and gassed out. He knocked me out about 20 seconds later.  |

I have only played on Expert, I never even tried the other difficulties. MY quickest knock out was against Liddell, I was Shogun. I was peppering him with leg kicks, and kept smashing his sides with body kicks. He came in looking for a left hook, but my right hook smashed him in the chin, knocked him out cold.
Round 1, 0:45.

lol, I let it sit there on 2 player and did absolutely nothing for the whole fight, and Rua still won by a unanimous 29-28 decision
