OK I finally probably have a problem with this game. Seems that button mashing will suit non gamers just fine. I was playing my GFs brother and I had to execute a good ten or so takedowns only to have him mash the analog and go fro a submission. Same with stand up. Chuck's got range on Shogun so he was just mashing the punch buttons and I could't get inside. In the future I'd suggest a parrying system or bobbing and weaving Silva and Evans style.
Other than that I have no complaints. It just suck to get owned by a noob when you know they're no good and just button mashing.

Yea, my brother kicked my ass three straight times despite not knowing many of the controls. I'm trying to kick his legs and go for takedowns...and he just eventually hits me with that one punch and I go down.  Still fun though. |

Idk I kinda had the same problem with a friend but I still managed to KO him twice |
