Did you not play UFC for the Dreamcast?
It's about as far as you can get from awful.

For the flying armbar, execute a striking clinch (if it's the thai clinch, you'll need to free up an arm) and click the right analog wichi triggers a submission attempt.

Submissions are a complete bunghole, no matter how much I rape the right analog stick I cannot get a submission on the computer, even on beginner. Is there something else I can be doing that would make it easier?

Until May 19th, the best MMA game to ever be on any video game console was the Pride game.

i cant wait for this game...i attempted to play the older UFC games...they were all such garbage...fights last like 30 seconds and its an easy tap out or KO.
this game is so damn realistic...im playing on expert, and win like 2/3 of the fights now.....i've done about 3 submissions in close to 100 fights...thats the one thing i have yet to get down

Well, with this game being released in less than 2 weeks, I think I have figured out just who's unlockable. Credit to some of these names goes to Patrick Bateman so let's hope that everything's accurate since this game should have an absolutely perfect UFC roster.
Real Fighters:
Ken Shamrock Renato Sobral Randy Couture Evan Tanner Jens Pulver Royce Gracie Kevin Randleman Tank Abbott Dan Severn Pedro Rizzo War Machine
Joke Fighters:
Dana White Bruce Buffer Joe Rogan (not confirmed) Mike Goldberg (not confirmed)

Whats everyone's favorite fighting style? I personally like Kick Boxing and Boxing. I'm a striking type of guy.

Finally got to play the demo, and I totally fell in love with the game. The controls are, to be honest, completely ing awesome. Can't wait for this to come out, soooooo glad I preordered and paid in full. That said, my favorite fighting styles are BJJ and Muay Thai. The Thai clinch is just plain nasty when it's used by an expert, as is BJJ. Knockouts give me "oh ****!" moments, but it's the vicious knees and the epic submissions that really make me cringe and feel bad for the guy on the receiving end.

In regards to style i perfer the punching knockout style, dont like being on the ground.
