So you deny that you're a TNA mark? Are you going to deny that claim?

No, because I'm proud to be one. If you don't like my opinion then get over it and get off my back. I'm not here to get your approval for my opinion because I don't need it nor did I want it. It's MY opinion that they're not being shoved down my throat, it's my opinion TNA's a good product and if you don't like it then I'm sorry but I'm not here to impress you.
Seriously, half you guys need to get off my back. Everytime I state my opinion it turns into a "Us vs. SodaGuy" thread.

I honestly have no problem with you being a tremendous, super duper mark of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. I could live with the fact that you have a major woody for the TNA product; that's something that doesn't bother me because we all have a passion for something (me with the New York Yankees). But what IS annoying to me and probably a lot of members on this forum is that you are so obvious with your love for TNA that is actually makes me sick. I have NEVER seen you say one negative thing about the product. It's actually funny because so many people on here see the negatives with TNA but you. You're always there to defend the product, defend the wrestlers, defend the storylines, defend the matches, and even go so far as to defend how they ADVERTISE their product. We get your a TNA cheerleader but PLEASE be more objective on the product and then MAYBE, just maybe, we will get off your damn back.

Are you blind? I have my complaints about TNA and I have said them on this fourm. Just because you guys tend to ignore them that isn't my fault.

If you have a complaint about the product, then it's very minor. More often than not, you're defend the product. "Oh they did this because it makes sense for the future of the storyline..." "I think it makes sense even though you guys dont!" "Wow that was amazing! How did you guys not like that!" It's like... please. Enough.

So, me saying there's not enough time for matches is "minor"? Me saying they need to put more behind their tag/x/womens division is minor? Really? Because whenever someone else says it it's like it's holy freakin' water.

Even if you do go around saying those things, I could find at least 20 examples in the just past week were your homerism has gotten the best of you. It's so sad.

I pulled it from TNA history: Out of the 12 pay-per-views this year... Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner, Sting and Booker T were in the main events for 8 of them. Not to mention, Booker T carries a damn title that has been defended twice ( the "Legends" Championship )... hands down, the worst idea in professional wrestling history. Going into the new year, the first pay-per-view TNA Championship match is Rhino vs. Sting? Seriously? Wow... what a great way to kick off 2009, guys! And lets be honest, once this Main Event Mafia storyline is done and over with... those 4 men will STILL be in the main events, giving the same crap they've been giving for the past decade. Booker T is washed up, the reason WWE got rid of him... he's had his spotlight. Kevin Nash, please... give me a break ( or leg injury ). This guys been washed up since the end of WCW and for some reason WWE pushed him against Triple H... which were some of the worst matches of that year. Don't even get me started on Scott Steiner. And Sting... lets just say Stings on GOOD match this year, was against Styles. And thats only because Styles gave that match energy and kept it remotely fast paced. With guys like Nash, Sting, Booker, Rhino and Steiner in the main event scene constantly... we're never going to see the REAL talent get to shine as much. - Triple S

Even if you do go around saying those things, I could find at least 20 examples in the just past week were your homerism has gotten the best of you. It's so sad. You know what - there's no "if" about me saying those things. If you want I can gladly go find the post I said it in. Also, you're right I do post more positives about TNA than negatives. It's because I enjoy the product. I don't sit down and go "Okay, let's find someone to complain about only to watch it every week, buy the ppvs, and even buy their merch". I sit down to be entertained and enjoy the show and I am. No, I don't write a book about my "dislikes" in TNA like some people but that doesn't mean I "OMGZ LUV EVERYTHING" like half of you think. I enjoy the product because it entertains me. I enjoy alot more in TNA than I dislike and I do have my dislikes with TNA and just because I post "more positives" than negatives that doesn't mean anything. I remember awhile back I posted a negative or two and everyone went 'omg u lyin'' so what's the point? I'm screwed either way - I post positives I get rode, I post negatives I'm a liar. What's the use in trying to express my dislikes if I get called a liar? There is none. If you don't like what I have to say that's fine - don't reply to me - not that hard.

This is 5 ways i would like the legends title in my likeness by 5-1
5: Call it something else 4: Dont Make it like the million Dollar championship 3: Have it Defended more often, this isnt the U.S title rule where you defend it every 3 months 2: Destroy the belt 1: Make it the TNA hard core Title!

Haha, touche, Cass... touche!
As for the SG bashing, guys. Really, it needs to stop. In "minor" ( haha, sorry... I had to ) defense of him, he has had some complaints with the product. But at the same time, SG... you do normally defend TNA in every which way. I mean the original poster said a bunch of stuff ( that I didn't bother reading ) and Ripper replied kind of agreeing, but making it more legible.
Less than 30 minutes later, you defended TNA by claiming "You fail to see how TNA is horrible at advertising". But it's right infront of your face why they are... iMPACT! ratings are terrible and TNA should be lucky WWE doesn't put SmackDown! back on Thursday nights. Because if they did, iMPACT! would be dead. Especially lately.
But again, you don't really give any reasons to back up your opinion. Just the word "my" in capitals. We all understand it's your opinion and your more than entitled to it. However, this is a forum where people come to discuss and share opinions/reasons for things. So, i'm gonna ask you:
Why don't you feel guys like Sting, Steiner, Nash, Rhino, Booker, etc. aren't being "shoved" down your throat?
If you like them, again... thats your opinion, man. But at times it does seem like your a little close-minded to the product, and 95% of the time... you agree with everything TNA does.

1.) The reason I fail to see how TNA sucks at advertising - I gave my reasons. Which I saw first hand (the adverts for the SC House Show back in July). I also, stated that could advertise iMPACT better and gave a easy solution yet.. that got ignored. Interesting.
2.) I don't see the Main Event Mafia being shoved down my throat because I'm enjoying the storyline. I can see how some people might think so but my interest in this storyline is pretty high which is why I don't mind seeing them alot on the show. Plus, it's not like it's when Angle was "running the show" in a way where he would be in ever segment for the most part. They appear alot but there's five guys and alot of time there's differences in why they appeared unlike when Kurt did it. Kurt was just one guy and one guy getting that much TV time was to much. The Mafia is 5 guys (6 people including Sharmell) who's in the main feud so they need the TV time just like how The Front line gets more time than some of the other guys. I do think they need to find the right balance between FL time and MEM but it's not being shoved down my throat and it's like that mostly since I enjoy the storyline.

First off, thanks for the reply. I agree with the Main Event Mafia part, as I too am loving the stable. But what i'm asking is those guys being in 8 out of 12 main events for the pay-per-views this year.
Also, when this storylines over... them continuing to be the focal point of TNA.

I don't mind them main eventing ppvs to be honest. I think as long as the storyline supports it and they've got someone good in there to kinda "carry" them it's fine. But, as long as the storyline supports it I see no problem with it. Like with Rhino - I don't agree with it 100% but I understand why they're doing it. It makes it seem more "real" in a way. Rhino beat the world champion and he should get a title shot. On PPV? Maybe not. But, it makes it a little less predictable with it not being taped. I'm not saying Rhino stands a chance of winning but it adds that kinda "Wow, can Rhino win?" feel to it compared to iMPACT where it would be "Oh, it's taped there's no chance". See?
But as far as "after the storyline" goes - we can't see the future so I'm not going to comment on that.

So, as long as the storyline supports it... you'd rather see them main event, than getting the younger ( and MUCH better ) talent up higher in the card?

To me, it's not that you're a mark, its not that you religiously defend it as it your last name is Jarrett, its that you post every little tidbit about TNA.
"Kaz is engaged to Traci!" "Suicide is injured" "Joe takes a leave" "a Trading card is errored!" "Chris Harris is returning in better shape" "Don West will be on the Orlando morning news show tomorrow!"
Really, its like I'm stuck at the hair salon and I'm forced to listen to every little old lady gossip. Yes, I know, most of those are sarcasm, so spare us your "when did I even post any of those..." speech.
You're a good kid, but please when you spot something you didn't report on on what I'm guessing is your homepage of "TNAnews.com" just, let it go.
and just for the record, you don't need a saddle to ride a horse. It's called bareback

I'm not saying young guys shouldn't get a chance but I would much rather see a big "built up" good match between say Sting and Jarrett than a great "no build/I don't care" Shelley and Sting. You see? It all just depends who it is - you can't just go "Oh, Shelley's young we gotta push him to the moon". It can't work like that and that's what this whole storyline between the FL/MEM is gonna do - they (FL) don't have to win every match but if Lethal or someone takes Sting to their limit they should get a world title shot (See Rhino getting it for beating Sting). See what i mean? To me, it's not that you're a mark, its not that you religiously defend it as it your last name is Jarrett, its that you post every little tidbit about TNA. The thing with Rhino is... WHY? It could've been ANYBODY, seriously:
Abyss - What the hell are they doing with this guy? He's majorly over with the fans and can work for a big guy. Why stick him with crappy Matt Morgan, yet do nothing with them?
Hernandez - He's obviously not going to be winning the TNA Championship ( dear god, I hope not ). Have him "cash in" at Genesis. Kills 2 birds, with 1 stone. Gets Sting a logical opponent and gets Hernandez's shot out of the way.
Petey Williams - Unless he's injured, i'd love to see Petey at least get a SHOT at the title.
Pretty much ANYONE who's been in TNA and made their name with TNA. Not Rhino, who made a small name for himself in ECW. Then got a bigger name in the WWE. Then once WWE said "Hey, you don't really bring in money... leave", TNA picked him up.
TNA has the potential to be great, they just need to stop putting money and time into these washed up former WCW talents and more into the younger guys.
EDIT: Just read your reply before this, SG. Thats the thing with wrestling, though. They can make the fued.
Example ( Shelley/Sting ): Hypothetically, Final Resolution hasn't happened yet... blah blah blah. Weeks leading up the Final Resolution, the Guns start working for the MEM... trying to get in. They continue to embarass them, by barking ridiculous orders at them and whatnot. Final Resolution happens ( same results ).
First week of iMPACT! after FR, Foley makes Sting vs. 2 opponents of Foley's choosing, in a gauntlet-style match.
It winds up being the Guns, as Sting and MEM laugh. MEM are ringside for the match... blah blah blah. Sting orders Sabin to lay down, but Shelley prevents him. Shelley talks to Sabin and Sabin tells him he's got it and to not worry. Sabin lays down and Sting pins him. Sting then orders Shelley to lay down. Shelley then gets on the mic and tells Sting this has gone too far... blah blah blah. Sting begins to insult Shelley, until Shelley snaps and slaps Sting across the face. The Mafia attack Shelley and beat him down, while Sabin looks on wanting to help... but refrains.
Following week Shelley asks Sabin why he didn't help him out last week. Sabin tells Shelley they made a decision to join the Main Event Mafia and to do whatever they needed to, in order to gain entry. Shelley tells Sabin he's not about to lose his dignity of it. Shelley demands a title match against Sting from Foley, but Foley declines. Later that night, Shelley screws the Mafia out of a tag match and quickly escapes.
Following week, Sting opens the show calling out Foley. Sting demands a match against Shelley, to get his anger out. Foley tells Sting he's got his match... at Genesis, for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! Later that night, Shelley says that he made the wrong decision to join the Mafia and that everything he's done in TNA would've meant nothing, if he had joined. Shelley then claims that at Genesis, he will bring true meaning and dignity BACK to the TNA Championship.
At Gensis, Sting and Shelley square off. Sting dominates most of the match, until the end... where Shelley gets a few near falls. Shelley then hits the Sliced Bread #2, but Sting kicks out. Shelley goes for it again, but Sting pushes Shelley off and lands back first on the canvas. Sting then applies the Scorpion Deathlock. Shelley fights for a minute or so, but eventually taps out.

It's most likley to keep him off TV for his hair to grow back so he doesn't look like a mini-steiner while he's feuding with him - that'll look weird lol. I'm not saying Rhino should get a title shot.. but atleast they attempted to set it up okay. Ya know?
