OK, Pacman was contractually unable to compete in the ring... Mayweather is wrestling at Wrestlemania... So right then and there, Pacman was the bigger waste of money because he never actually did anything. He was a waste of space that brought awful publicity to TNA. It all boils down to the fact that Mayweather will actually be competing in the ring while Pacman was not allowed to. It doesn't matter if he wanted to or not, the fact is Pacman didn't do anything. Not to mention the Mayweather/Big Show thing has been hyped so much better than anything to do with Jones. Mayweather is a great athlete who hasn't squandered his gift. Pacman Jones just sucks at being a human being and anything he does is a failure. Especially his run in TNA.
I like Mayweather, He belongs in a ring as he's a boxer. Football players and NASCAR drivers don't belong in a wrestling ring. Boxers, Wrestlers and MMA fighters do belong in a ring. Not to mention compared to Pacman, Mayweather's promos are listen-to-able unlike Pacman.
Do you get the point I'm trying to make here? I'm not a Boxing fan by any stretch of the word nor am I a football fan but a Boxer in a Wrestling ring will peek my interest more so than a Football player in a Wrestling ring because atleast Boxers and Wrestlers compete in a similar fashion...

Pac Man because TNA didnt even let him wrestle. Yea he was tag champ but Killings did all the wrestling while Pac Man did the cash throwing. He was no doubt the biggest waist of money.

Pacman only because they barely got any attention over it and he couldn't even touch the other wrestlers. If he could have wrestled it would have been alot better.

Pacman. He did NOTHING for TNA. He couldn't even wrestle. So what does TNA do? They give him the tag title. Mayweather has already had a positive effect on WWE/Wrestlemania. As far as hype and promotion goes.

Football players and NASCAR drivers don't belong in a wrestling ring. The two biggest bullies in the WWE locker room would like to have a word with you...

You people know nothing.. Pacman WAS training to WRESTLE with Jeff Jarrett, Jerry Lynn, and I think James Storm. He had a TNA Ring in his backyard. The NFL/Tenn. Titans said he couldn't wrestle not him. TNA didn't put him on their biggest show and hype him up more than their world title match and we got something "awesome" out of him - "Awesome" Austin Creed. If Pacman wouldn't have came in they wouldn't have had to replace him therefore Creed wouldn't have gotten picked, therefore this 21 year old with only 3 years in the business wouldn't be in the 2nd biggest promotion. What has Mayweather done? Nothing. He's just stood there (just like you are saying about Pacman). It's not even 100% confirmed if he's wrestling. Anything can happen between now and 'Mania. My choice - There both a waste of money.. who cares who's the bigger waste? So spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a guy is exempt because some young guy replaced him out of the blue on a PPV? If there is anyone who knows nothing, it would be TNA. The fact that they signed Pacman before clearing what he can and cannot do is hilarious.

Pacman, he did NOTHING for TNA. At least Mayweather can get in the ring. Sure it wasn't Pacman's fault he couldn't, it was TNA's. They've booked football players before and should know how the teams feel about it. TNA pretty much set money on fire with that one.

Yeah, I'd have to say Pacman as well. Unlike Pacman, Mayweather is actually doing something while he's there.

It's good to see that there are a large group of people on here with some sense that don't go out of their way to endlessly defend TNA against EVERY SINGLE THING that can be construed as remotely negative. ;D Now with that said, whether you love TNA or don't, you would have to be the blindest follower on the planet to actually defend TNA's use of Pacman. Nothing good came out of it. Saying Pacman is bigger than Mayweather? Mayweather is WAAAAYYYY bigger in every way, shape, and form than Pacman Jones is now and before. Pacman got brief coverage for an incident in a strip club and played two mediocre seasons with the Titans before getting kicked out for the entire 2007 season. Meanwhile, Mayweather had one of the highest grossing fights of all-time against De La Hoya and is an undefeated boxer that most media outlets claim may be the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. Another major difference is WWE will make plenty of money back from Wrestlemania, how much money did TNA make with Pacman through his entire tenure? Not a dime. The buyrates and ratings remained the same on every PPV/ every Impact he was on. In fact, Pacman probably hurt more than helped draw in people. So therefore, by a long shot Pacman Jones was much more of a waste of money.

Pacman got 6 figures.. not 7 .. and he made a good amount of appearances.. it actually got TNA mentioned on ESPN. I actually saw people talking about TNA online because of it.. good or bad.. they at least are aware of TNA now.. im a firm believer you gotta lose money to make money. WWE on the other hand.. spent 20 million.. they couldve got Austin - Rock - Hogan for a match at Mania with that kind of money The guys on ESPN thought TNA was the Arena Football league equivalant of the WWE... Why would people want to tune in after hearing that? I mean, Pacman Jones is going to some bush league crap wrestling promotion that apparently no one cares about? Whatever... The Rock will never, ever wrestle in the WWE again... guaranteed. Austin probably won't do a match but will stick to doing random appearances and beer drinking contests... not exactly worth 20 million. And Hogan? Well Hogan is garbage anymore anyways and I'd much rather see Mayweather/Big Show than Hogan/Big Show... The dollar amount might be pretty steep for Mayweather but considering the fact he is being touted as pound for pound the best boxer in the world... not to mention the fact that he has been on every RAW since NWO... I'd say they are getting the most out of Mayweather. With Pacman, they signed him to a contract even though the Titans said he couldn't participate in matches or any kind of physical confrontation... When you are supposed to be an active competitor in a wrestling company and your contract stipulates that? You are the biggest waste of money in the promotion...

Whoever chose Pacman obviously doesn't know anything about the buisness aspect of Wrestling. Pacman did **** for TNA, nobody gave a , nobody bought the PPV's. No Publicity = No New Viewers Say what you want about Mayweather but he got the WWE its publicity and people not intrested in WWE will watch. Thus its not a waste of money but a success. Also who says Mayweather is REALLY getting paid that much? Thank you. Mayweather's generating a lot of publicity, unlike Pacman. The only publicity he got was for club shootings. And let me pose a question for all the defenders of Pacman: Why would TNA waste money by signing someone they know, cannot do anything physical?

Dude, WWE is getting tons of media attention for signing Mayweather. He sucks, really really bad, but he is getting WWE some face time. I think it's a stupid move, but not as stupid as Pacman. TNA put one a title on a guy who literally can't wrestle. I mean, at least Kevin Nash pretended to wrestle when WCW put the title on him.

I also doubt Pac Man Jones got several million dollars.. I agree. Plus Pacman isn't that well known. I didn't know who he was when he came, plus I found him boring. Mayweather doesn't deserve $20 million, unless he is going to lose.
