David Williams House Show RP, The Heart Of The Shadow
David loomed in the shadows, his head bowed low as the rain trickled down his emotionless face, it had been five days now since his son had gone missing, and still no word, his head was fuzzy a black cloud of thought shadowed his mind. David slumped himself down into the darkest corner in sight, grabbing a box of fags from his pocket and proceeding to pull out his lighter, swiftly he let the cigarette alight holding it too his mouth and blowing a ring of smoke into the air as he slowly exhaled it as the moonlight started to gleam threw the darkness of the cold winters night. David threw the cigarette to the stone floor and pulled out from his back pocket a cold metal hip flask, David screwed open the lid and took a quick gulp of the whisky.
David was lost now, he had tried everything and everywhere and still he couldn’t find Jake, the police had done nothing, just as David had predicted, seems there are more important cases, or some s*** like that anyway. David was tired, he hadn’t had any sleep for five days, he looked a complete wreak now as dark black bags hung from his eyes.
David took another short sip of whisky from the flask before popping it back into his pocket, leaning his head back and rubbing his fingers threw his greasy dark hair. His face was now red in anger, in fear and in worry. David had never felt like this before, his emotions where overwhelming and left him with no idea what to do next. Their was no one else, just him and Jake, nobody else would no what was going on, whatever the had happened to Jake on that night had a grasp over David, it left him almost incapable of doing anything else but search for him. David hadn’t ate much either, just a few scraps to keep him going, he couldn’t be bothered to cook, or eat for that matter, his life was pointless without Jake, if he had thought their was no chance that he would get Jake back he would have took his own life their and then, but alas David was not going to let go easy, this was perhaps the first time he had stopped searching, and perhaps it would some good to allow him to get his head around the situation before tackling it head on.
In the past few days though David had also discovered some things about himself, he felt as if for the first time he knew he was, and why he was here, the past few days had been a journey for him both emotionally and mentally, he knew now that he isn’t here for no reason, he’s here to be Jake’s farther, and if he can find Jake, he knew that he’d nether take it for granted again, you see David did take the fact he had jake for granted, many a time he would go out and get pissed leaving Jake all alone. The fact that he nether visited his son in hospital for two years just proves he took Jake for granted. But not now, not anymore, he knew that as soon as Jake walked back threw that door that he would treat him like a king, some people would call it spoiling him, but after the years Jake spent alone, well Jake needed something and David needed to make it up to him. David couldn’t bare the thought of Jake being out there alone or with whoever or whatever may have taken him.
David really didn’t have any ing clue where to look next, he’d tried everywhere but Jake was nowhere it was like he had been snatched form the earth at the grasp of a hand.
Whilst all this was going on David had practically completely forgot about the WFWF, he had lost his drive, all he wanted to do was find his son, nothing else was as important to him now.
David rose to his feet yawning for a second as the rain started to pond down on him, harder and harder, David walked down the corridor and stepped into his car switching on the window wipers which seemed to be useless as galloons of water fell from the sky’s and persistently pounded against the window screen.
David twisted pressed down on the pedal, switching gears and sped off into the distance the window wipers still trying to get the better of the rain that pounded down onto the card.
A few hours passed before David pulled up outside his house, he kicked open the door in fury as the rain continued to beat down onto his cold, wet face.
David sat down in the arm chair of the dull, damp room picking up the TV remote with his cold wet hands and turning on a replay of Scars and Stripes, Williams wanted to get his hands on Flamez for costing him, or atleast he had done at the time, now he didn’t give a crap he just wanted to find Jake, but Jake was nowhere to be seen.
David longed to have Jake beside him, he wished that he could see his son, even if it was for the last time, just so he could say good by, but he didn’t know where he was or what to do.
The Phone started to ring as David darted towards it lifting it up and listening to the voice on the end, he knew exactly who it was and what they had to say now, but he couldn’t think why they would do this and where they would be, at least this explained why there had been no sign of a forced entry.
