Rumors are that it is going to be pedroia from boston. With that being said do you think it would be cool if there were multiple covers for the show that had your favorite team or player on it. If your not a BO Sox fan and your a cubs fan like myself you could have someone like soriano or derrek lee on the cover same goes for the other teams. Its a bit much and probably too hard but would you guys like that being able to choose your cover.

Personally, I don't really care who's on the cover, I just want a good game.

I just hope it looks better than last years. Last years was so bland.

wfigs.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=vidgamesport&action=display&thread=109791"The first item related to MLB 09: The Show has just made its way out, and it isn’t the cover athlete announcement. Though from the loading screen it may have been revealed that it is Dustin Pedroia. Footage from an SCEA event earlier today shows the new Yankee stadium in game. Appscout has a report from the event and mentions graphical improvements such as progressive lighting."

I'm a big Mets fan and all, but you can't call the Cubs chokers and not acknowledge the Mets chokeability.

Dustin Pedroia is on the cover. sports.espn.go.com/videogames/news/story?id=3817789Rather bland cover. It looks like the same game every year (both in the game, AND on the box). Maybe this year they will actually improve somethings. But from the early screen shots, its the same faces, same bodies, same EVERYTHING from last year.

Exactly not to diss the mets or anything but the cubs have been in the playoffs or atleast very close to making it anyhow. Like us cubs fans dont know it has been 100 years since winning it all but its better than not making the playoffs year after year like some teams do. Cubs are one of the best teams in baseball ever.
