WWE should do the right thing and just make him what he is: a mid-carder.

Not me, Christian isn't anything more than a mid-carder. Even look at his TNA status:
He came in as a main eventer, held the title for a few months. But if he wasn't in the title picture, he was pretty much on the backburner.
Same will happen this time in the WWE. He will be given a great/interesting fued with Jeff Hardy on his arrival back to the WWE, but once thats over... he'll more than likely be put on the backburner on SmackDown! He's a great talent, but much like CM Punk, etc... I prefer him in the mid-card, adding more to the Intercontinental/United States divisions.

Initially I wanted Christian to stay in TNA but now I don't really care either way. TNA has more than enough main event guys. Or at least guys who are portrayed as main eventers by TNA. I have read a couple places that he wasn't excited about the direction TNA was going and he had an offer elsewhere. What more can you do than say goodbye at that point. I'm sure TNA would have preferred Christian stick around but he isn't the type of guy you give anything to just to make happy either. He is really good but not great. I hope he gets a decent run in WWE. I think he will for awhile but it will fade. Just like it did in TNA. He gets kind of stale.

He's a good sport for leaving the way he did. The beating the MEM gave him was class.
