-A GTAIV engined game based in Vice City
-A console Metal Gear game, not a ripoff story line (not Solid, cause Snake is done. Even without Kojima, there is no way they won't continue milking it for cash)
-Battlefield: Bad Co 2- It was a good game, with some stuff to work on but overall solid.
-Army of Two 2 (:/)- See above, also, it was short.
-Lego Batman 2- If Star Wars can have two games, so can the Batman. Even if it isnt til Batman Begins 3. Plus Lego Batman 1 is very sucessfull.
-Sonic Adventure 3- No gimmicks. No Werewolves. No storybooks. I want a fast running blue hedgehog who goes against a fatass in a red jumpsuit. Maybe Tails, maybe Knuckles. That's it.

Super Mario Bros 4, easily. I don't know why it hasn't been made yet...it'd sell well in stores and now there's the WiiWare channel and the DS platform. Keep it as 2D sprites just spruced up a bit.
Dead Space 2. I think it has a definite sequel but we don't jack about it yet. After the ending I'm really curious what happened for sure.
Parasite Eve 3. Not gonna happen at this point.
Mario Party - new. I hope the reason we didn't see a new MP in 2008 was because they're working on a new one from the ground up instead of rehashing. They should just throw in Sonic characters and boards while they're at it. But yeah, I love the idea behind MP and the older games/DS game. I just want a brand new game that doesn't feel stale.
Silent Hill 1 remake. They should just save this for the next consoles but I'd like to see the PS1 game remade. It's been a long time and this game deserves a graphical upgrade if it remains true to the first game. I know they have a Western team working on the series right now so maybe this isn't the best idea...
WWE No Mercy-styled game for the DS. There's rights issues with the game engine so it wouldn't be exact. They could still make a new game that is similar, though. Spruce up the visuals a bit, include the ability to edit your wrestlers' appearance and stats, put in online Royal Rumbles, CAW trading online, etc. No touch screen B.S. outside of menus and maybe a stylus logo maker or something like that.
Shadow of the Colossus sequel/retelling/something similar. I love this game and scaling the Colossi in HD would be amazing. Team Ico is working on something big but it keeps getting pushed back. Hope it's something as breathtaking as SotC. I'll take a new IP too since I have complete faith in them.
Sonic the Hedgehog 4. They'd just screw it up so nevermind. The Sonic 2 HD fan project will be good enough.
Mega Man- Mega Man X bridge game. I want to see Zero kill everybody. They should do this one in 3D. Oh, and do X9 in 2D via the online consoles.
Metroid Dread. A brand new breathtakingly gorgeous and creepy 2D side-scroller. A really, really, really good soundtrack on par with the original game, Metroid II, and Super Metroid. This is one of my top wants.
Twisted Metal PS3. This is technically in the works but I don't think there's really anything certain we know about other than that. They put a hidden message in the PS2 version of Head-On that stated they were working on a game...but that was awhile ago, so maybe we'll see it at E3 this year. But yeah, if they can make this game as addicting and fun as #2, I can't wait.
Donkey Kong Country 4. Obviously not gonna happen.
I would've also said Punch Out and Mega Man 9 but I got my wishes. :-)

haven't both been announced? Technically neither have been announced, though Bioware has said multiple times on their Mass Effect forums that they're working on ME2. As far as we know there is no true KOTOR 3, though Bioware is making the KOTOR MMO. So in this case, I want to see Mass Effect 2 (and 3 since it's supposed to be a trilogy) Too Human 2 (and 3 since it's supposed to be a trilogy) Mirror's Edge 2 Left 8 Dead (See what I did there?) Battlefield Bad Company 2 Saints Row 3 Fable 3 Actually, for the most part, I wouldn't mind seeing sequels to all those games forever, as long as they were spaced well and felt reasonably fresh each time. |
