If you could choose one kind of angle or just one "thing" that happens in wrestling and banish it away so it could never happen again or atleast not happen for a VERY long time in WWE or wrestling as a whole, what would you banish?
To me, the "corrupt owner/gm/commissioner" thing could just fade away for a long time and it would make me pretty happy. Ever since Bischoff joined NWO, variations of a corrupt and powerful official manipulating things to his advantage has just been done and overdone nearly non-stop. Since 1997 or so I dont remember one period of time where this angle wasnt happening in one form or another and if there was a period where no WWE product on TV had this sort of angle happening, I'm sure it was brief.
To me its just stale and anything revolutionary or intruiging that could happen with this type of angle has already been done. They book matches to keep their wrestler champ and stack odds against the guys or guy they hate. That's it, its been done for almost 12 years straight, non-stop. To me, this kind of wrestling stereotype just needs to go away for awhile and maybe return a longtime down the road or something to make it seem fresh again.
Most currently, its the Vickie/Edge thing. Its just so tired seeming. They make the matches they want and do all of this unfair stuff, blah blah blah. You could almost predict every step theyre gonna make because its been done forever. This is why I find RAW cool lately because RAWs actually avoiding this kinda thing ... at least for now. Opinions?

Anti-American angles, they just generate cheap heat, and you always know what's coming next.

I'd do away with the "we have a past" and "I have a secret" storylines. 1. They've just been done so ineffectively and have been sooooooo anticlimactic that I just can't take it seriously anymore when they even try. 2. Sometimes they seem to take said storylines to such extremes, that they later end up having to contradict it for the sake of development of another story, rectifying the entire thing.
I know that we saw the return of this with the current Jeff Hardy story, but I'd like to see the occasional "who done it?" storyline every now and then. Austin/Triple H/Rikishi is still to this day one of my favorite storylines ever.

Oh poo...I read the title and had something to type all thought up and it's different :-(
Oh I think the stereotypically race or ethnic characters are kind of stale. You know like Cryme Tyme and although hilarious Santino Marella.

^ Well exactly, even though it's apparently 'stale' or 'tired', the majority of fans must like it because the WWE are making money.

You may not agree with me but I don't like when they have banishing matches or loser leaves matches I wish that would just be done with.
The One more chance storyline.
Mystery attackers too.
Yeah the corrupt owner is just so play out now. Vince and Eric ran that to the ground.

I wish people would cool it with this stereotype garbage. Just because somebody is put in a gimmick and they happen to be from some foreign country doesn't mean WWE is disrespecting the country by making us think all people in it are the same. Take Kung Fu Naki for example, he's japanese and does kung fu. What were they gonna do? put an american man as a kung fu fighter? no. Jimmy Wang is employed too ya know.

I know this sounds awkward but gay characters or teases of something gay, in example the Charlies Haas-Shelton Benjamin kiss deal....
Why? Because WWE never gets behind the angle, they only go with flamboyancy. Goldust was the only exception, forget Rico, Billy and Chuck, and a few others WWE has had a go with. Goldust kissed Ahmed and did things that really sparked interest. If you plan to tease or do it, do it to an unsettling degree... like every other angle in the WWE.

You mean Rico wasn't unsettling to you? And the "Commitment" Ceremony? Maybe it's just me. Billy and Chuck were a sword fight away from being vomit worthy in my book.

It never got to be unsettling... didn't help either when they admitted to shamming the audience. I mean, I remember a promo where the FBI (Stamboli, Nunzio, Palumbo) and maybe even Cena talked about their shoe sizes in a hot tub or something... what I'm getting at is that more than covered the unsettling homoeroticness. I mean, Rene Dupree unintentionally gave us it... I guess what I'm saying is I want WWE to make the move and not tease it. I mean, they didn't hesitate in having Edge and Lita's live sex segment, or Vickie and Edge making out, might I add Mickie's interactions with Trish?

Ok well when they constantly do it, it gets very stale. It's not like he's the first character like that. Just like Cryme Tyme are not the first stereotypically black characters. It's getting stale, they need to come up with something a little more unique.
