I promise this will be the only other news article I post today, heh. www.fightersonlymagazine.co.uk/news/viewarticle.php?id=1632Dana While Talks UFC 100: Liddell vs. Silva; Cro Cop Return All Possible
Chuck Liddell could face Anderson Silva at UFC 100, according to organization president Dana White.
He says the match would be possible if former light-heavyweight champion Liddell wins his next fight.
"If Chuck can win in his next fight, then we could see that fight. Liddell has been open to fighting Anderson, so maybe that can be a fight we can make," White explained.
He also said that he would be open to talking with Mirko ‘CroCop' Filopovic about returning to the UFC in time for the iconic 100th show.
"We will welcome him with open arms. He is a guy that I respect, and when he left, there was really no bad blood," White said.
"He needed to clear some things up, so if he wants to come back, he is welcome."
The UFC has said little about what format its 100th show will take, but industry pundits expect to see a show that is out of the ordinary.
One rumour has it that all five title belts will be on the line at the event, which would mean at least ten star names on the card.
Awesome, awesome news. Hopefully an opponent for Liddell will be announced for his return fight. I'm also very hopeful that Cro Cop will come back to the UFC even if it's for one more fight. I've always been a fan of his.

So many rumors about UFC 100. I'm going to wait for something concrete before I get to excited.

I really can't wait for UFC 100. There are so many rumored bouts that it sounds like the UFC is going to be putting on a stacked card from top to bottom.
I would want to see Anderson Silva vs. Liddell. It would do little for both guys as far as their career goes but it would just be a fun fight to see. Anderson is stuck in an awkward position because there is nobody really for him to fight in the MW division...besides perhaps a still "green" Bisping or Dan Henderson.
I really hope CroCop comes back because it was bulls*** when he left. The guy lost 2 fights...every fighter gets in a slump. There are still so many dream matches at HW that need to happen with CroCop.

I've wanted Cro Cop back ever since he left because he has some unfinished buisness with many of the heavyweights. Just don't expect him back before June in the UFC. He said after the Choi fight that he's taking 6 months off to heal some injuries. Hopefully he comes back better than ever and starts wrecking people again like he did in PRIDE.
UFC 100 should be the biggest show ever. Ideally, they could get it sanctioned in New York and hold the show there. Chuck Liddell, arguably UFC's biggest draw, would be a must to main event MSG and the 100th show.
However, I can't see the Chuck Liddell/Anderson Silva fight happening. There's just to little time and too many factors. First, Chuck would have to win in March, Silva in April, and both would have to be completely injury free in order to fight in July. I just can't see that happening. If this fight did happen, it could be one of the biggest draws in the UFC in a while and it woiuld definately sell out MSG.

Man, all 5 belts on the line in the same show?? That would be freakin' incredible. Definitely the most stacked UFC card in history.
Now, here's a problem with that scenario. What if, and it's a big what if, but what if B.J. Penn defeats GSP in their upcoming fight and then he's stuck holding 2 belts from two different weight classes??
Does that mean he would have to forfeit one of the belts?? Or what if on the night of UFC 100 he's still the reigning champ in Welterweight and Lightweight, does that mean he would fight twice and defend both belts in the same night??

It would mean that he will only fight one and they will not have all five belts on the line. They will go with his LW defense aginst Florian I assume...

There are 2 things wrong with this I see.
1. If Penn wins against GSP then that means only 4 titles will be on the line. 2. Silva would have to move up weight to 205 to fight Chuck. Which means his title wont be on the line. So 3 titles would be on the line.

All of the titles win NOT be on the line, Dana has said this already.
I'd rather see Lesnar vs. Liddell for the heavyweight title as the main event, to be honest.

I'd love to see Chuck vs. Silva. And I would be all for Cro Cop back in the UFc. Good news all around there.
