I watched a few minutes of the show and came to the conclusion that Scott Steiner needs to be on every Impact segment.

This episode of iMPACT was very, very bad. MEM reeks of nWo like hell. The only thing that saved this show was Nash & Booker on commentary and Steiner on the mic. Those segments were GOLD. I can tell that Steiner's announcing wasn't meant to be funny, but it was funny as hell. Petey Williams getting offense on a big guy like Morgan should NOT have happened. Morgan is needed by TNA to be a legit big-man. And what do they do? Have a cruiserweight get offense on him with ONE ARM. Makes sense, doesn't it?  Angle vs. LAX. WOW. LAX is suppose to be one of our elite tag teams. They should have gotten the immediate advantage on Angle. Angle should have never won. You're suppose to push Hernandez in a title match again, and now it doesn't make any sense because ANGLE BEAT BOTH OF THEM. Hernandez should be able to beat Angle by himself. This crapwith Joe is just too funny. Why have the facepaint on him? Now everyone will compare him to Umaga, which really isn't fair or right. I haven't had faith that TNA can book Joe ever since they missed the boat a long time ago by not giving him the title, but why would you do that? Why would you do something like that where people can instantly look at him and think Umaga? It also looked like he gained a little weight while he was gone. If he's gained weight, it is NOT a good thing. ****ty booking once again. |

I like the joe facepaint. Obviouslly people are gonna assume umaga but he's not him. he's Joe with more of a warrior mentality and back to hie roots. He cant help his culture is to have facepaint/tatoos, etc. I think he comes back as a bad boy as opposed to a raving lunatic that grunts and snarls( see umaga). I thought the MEM thing was good and people comparing it to the nwo i think is unfair. There's just not much else you can do when you back yourself into a corner and say MEM is taking over. what else were they gonna do. At least they didnt do the whole show like that, which woulda been like nwo. But again, it's what they had to do and i dont think they were/are trying to be like the nwo.. I thot booker was funny at times, but it did get annoying. havent watched all matches yet, so i'll reserve that for another time

I think last week's iMPACT! was one of the worst in years. People have said it before but they solidified it that episode...MEM is the new nWo. And not in a good way...in an annoying way. nWo came off cool...MEM gets more lame with each week. And Booker T calling matches made my ears hurt.
