I thought impact was pretty bad tonight. Nothing really stood out as being good. The angle with Team 3D/Angle and such was decent, but the thought of a member of 3D in a title match makes me laugh.

Yeah, the matches won't be the usual "TNA" matches but atleast it's got a good story behind it and they didn't just throw someone in there..

On Thursday night, TNA Wrestling returns to SpikeTV for two hours of Total Nonstop Action as the road to the February 8 “Against All Odds” Pay-Per-View continues.

- After what happened this past week, the featured bout will be Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle taking on his nemesis “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles in a Tables Match!

Wow! Styles/Angle table match will be sweet. X-Division fourway will be awesome if it's given enough time. The Elimination Tag will be good.. but shouldn't be elimination because what'll happen is they'll get rid of EY and beatdown on Petey with him byhimself.

TNA sucked this week.. Nothing new really.. Explains why i change the channel after 25 mins.
Did they say anything about Hernandez getting a rematch? That was a very shitty way to cash in a "Money In The Bank" type case in.
The show was so unorganized.. i forgot 90% of it already.. heh. TNA needs to go back to 1 hour because they dont fill the 2 hours up properly.

And then everyone will whine and cry on how their precious "fan favorites" aren't on every week.. True.. But when iMPACT was 1 hour.. i personally enjoyed it alot more. It was 80% wrestling 20% segments.. Now its like 75% segments 25% wrestling. Same can go for WWE.. Thats probably why i enjoy ECW so much. |

Honestly...the show put me to sleep
it was seeming like the first segment never ended...
mafia come out/ Hernandez comes out for match/ Homicide/aj and dudleys come out/dudleys talk... THAT LASTED 35 MINUTES...
then to follow up with nothing important at all (velvet and love get crapped on?)..during the street fight i just pasted out

Is TNA trying to sabotage there PPV buyrates? Someone get me the stats because there is no way they should be doing well in this area... first Rhyno, now Ray and D-Von get main event singles matches on PPV? Who wants to see D-Von/Angle or Ray/Sting? Maybe on an Impact just to get it out of the way... not on a PPV people have to pay money for. It seems like TNA could use less PPVs because the cards now just reek of filler.
Kong-tourage? Okay, this has to be the most random, potentially-challenged assortment of wrestling characters in pro wrestling history. Kong and Saeed were fine by themselves, but they had to ruin it.
TNA should be ashamed for the Palin segment, and every one that preceded it... they didn't generate one slightly humorous moment, and the novelty of a Palin impersonator wore off a few seconds into her first appearance. I hope that was the blowoff to that series of wasted air time, because it did in fact blow... and to insert the lines "We aren't divas" in the middle of it all is just icing on the cake of irony. Boy does TNA love to feast on that cake.
Abyss and Morgan turning against eachother was quite underwhelming and cliche... I would have liked to see them start hitting moves on the security holding them back. Two huge monsters hitting moves on guys left and right would've been a cool visual... only for them to stare eachother down when the ring was cleared.
TNA seems to do one thing right (Shelley X-div Champ) and a bunch of things wrong... the main event is stale. I'm tired of hearing Kurt Angle cut the same promo every week, and I could care less about Foley's in-ring return. All the good matches have already happened and now it's about throwing as many WWE/WCW/ECW guys up against eachother as possible. The tag titles are being needlessly hot-shotted and everything else is just there. TNA is slipping badly.
