Commentators: Todd Grisham & Joey Styles
(ECW begins with a firework display as ECW comes from the Dunkin’ Doughnuts Center in Providence, RI)
Styles: Welcome everyone to another edition of the most hardcore television program, ECW. I’m Joey Styles and my partner on commentary tonight is Todd Grisham.
Grisham: Not by choice though, haha, come on I’m only kidding. Ladies and Gentlemen we got a huge show here for you tonight with Booker T defending his Money In The Bank Briefcase against Elijah Burke.
Styles: That should be a great match Todd, but also tonight, we have Test vs. Sabu and is Test wins, Test and Big Show will get an ECW Tag Team Title shot at Night of Champions.
Grisham: Don’t forget, William Regal and Big Show are barred from ringside. Oh, and one more thing, the ECW TV Championship is on the line tonight against Muhammad Hassan, and I personally hope that RVD kicks this guy’s ass.
Styles: Well let’s send it to the ring because Umaga and his manager, Armando Estrada are entering the ring.
Estrada: Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Armando Aleghandro Estrada, everybody listen to me (fans start to boo)! Last week, Chris Benoit lost to Finlay and my man Umaga. Umaga did some pretty good damage on you, Chris, and you know what he never got, his ECW Championship rematch clause, so right here, tonight on ECW in the mainevent, Chris Benoit, you will be defending the ECW Championship against UMAGA (fans start to cheer)!
Grisham: Woah! Were having an ECW Championship Match right here tonight, Joey.
Styles: This is great! Well, not for Benoit it isn’t, but for us it’s great!
Grisham: Ya got that right, Styles. Let’s send it backstage with an interview with Muhammad Hassan. Josh?
Matthews: Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome, my guest at this time, the man who will be facing RVD for the ECW TV Championship later tonight, Muhammad Hassan (fans start to boo). Hassan, why did you do what you did….
Hassan stole the mic from Josh and pushed him aside
Hassan: Listen! The reason why I did what I did last week was because RVD disrespected myself and Davari (Davari repeats Hassan in Arabic). The fans can boo me out of the building for all I care (fans start to boo) because I know that I will walk out of Providence, RI tonight the NEW ECW TV Champion!
MONEY IN THE BANK BRIEFCASE MATCH
BOOKER T (BRIEFCASE HOLDER) VS. ELIJAH BURKE W/ SYLVESTER TURKEY[/u]
The match starts with Burke getting in Booker’s face until Booker takes him down with a Closeline, but Burke gets back up. Booker T takes him down with another Closeline, same thing. Booker finally keeps him down with a kick to the head. Booker T rolled to the outside and grabbed a chair. Turkey tried to sneak up from behind and attack Booker, but Booker caught him and nailed him in the head with the chair. What Booker T didn’t see coming was Elijah Burke jumping over the top rope landing on Booker on the outside. Elijah picked up the chair and waited for Booker to get up. Booker finally got to his feet and Elijah swung at him but Booker ducked and Elijah hit Turkey to once again knock the big man down. Elijah turned around and got chopped again and again by Booker T. Booker then tried to throw Burke into the steel steps, but Elijah reversed it and Booker’s knees smashed off the steel steps.
Elijah moved the steps so they would face Booker T when he got up. Booker finally got up and turned around to get hit by a Flying Closeline from Elijah Burke after he ran up the ring steps. Elijah threw Booker back into the ring. Elijah went at Booker with rights and lefts until he got him into a corner. Elijah ran at him and went for the Elijah Express and hit it on Booker hard. Elijah stayed hooked on Booker T and hit a Monkey Flip on the former ECW World Champion. Elijah Burke then put on a Boston Crab (fans start to get behind Booker T). After a while, Booker T flipped himself and Elijah into a pin but Booker only got a 2 count. Both men got up and Elijah made the first move as he kicked Booker in the gut and attempted the Elijah Experience, but Booker blocked it and got out of it and took Burke down with another kick to the head. Burke got right back up and went to Closeline Booker, but he was caught and Booker T hit the Book End, but was too exhausted to go for the cover. Booker finally got to his feet as Sylvester tried to get into the ring, but Booker Low Blowed him before he could take another step and bounced off the ropes and hit the Scissors Kick on the giant. Burke grabbed Booker’s briefcase which was laying in the corner and ran at Booker to hit him with it, but Booker ducked and kick Elijah in the gut and hit the Scissors Kick for the victory.
WINNER AND STILL MR. MONEY IN THE BANK: BOOKER T[/u]
Grisham: What a fight that was, huh Joey?
Styles: Those two guys just despise eachother and everyone can tell. Elijah had some pretty nice moves, but not nice enough to put down Booker T.
Grisham: What a match that was Styles, Booker T, still Mr. Money In The Bank.

We return to ECW in Providence, RI with an interview with Big Show about his actions last week.
Matthews: Big Show, last week, you attacked the ECW Tag Team Champions, William Regal and Sabu to get yourself and Test a shot at Night of Champions, how do you think you guys will do.
Big Show: Well, Josh, we have to get their first. You see, tonight Test is going one on one with one half of the ECW Tag Champs, Sabu, now ECW General Manager Teddy Long asked for myself and Regal not to be at ringside, which I promise that I will not be interfering in the match tonight, but if and when Test wins tonight, at Night of Champions, Test and I will be going for the ECW Tag Team Titles.
Matthews: Thanks for your time Big…
Big Show: Hold on, can I say something else (Josh nods)? Batista, you have been talking some smack on ECW lately and quite frankly I don’t like it. You seem to think you’re better than everyone here, but you forgot about one person, me. I am better than you Batista, and if you’re not too much of a coward how bout you come to ECW next week and I beat some respect into you, and if I don’t have my answer by next Monday, well, then I might just have to pay a little visit to Monday Night RAW.
Styles: Woah! Way to go Big Show! Standing up for ECW, that makes me proud, and hopefully Batista gets beat to a bloody pulp next week either on ECW or the so called spectacular RAW.
Grisham: Batista has some trouble with Big Show, but not as much as this Sunday, former ECW Star Rey Mysterio will be defending his WWE Championship against Batista at Night of Champions, don’t miss out on this folks.
Styles: Yeah, Rey’ll take care of Batista, anyways, let’s get underway with our next match, the ECW TV Championship is on the line as Rob Van Dam defends his belt against Muhammad Hassan.
ECW TV CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
ROB VAN DAM(C) VS. MUHAMMAD HASSAN W/ DAVARI[/u]
As RVD entered the ring and taunted with the fans during his entrance, Hassan Closelined RVD from behind to start the match. Hassan then climbed on top of RVD and started hitting him in the face continuously (fans start to boo). RVD got to his knees but Hassan didn’t let him get up as he kicked RVD right in the gut. Hassan motioned for Davari to grab him a chair so Davari slid in a steel chair. Hassan swung at RVD, but RVD ducked and hit a Drop Toe Hold on Hassan to make Hassan smash his own face onto the chair. Both men lay in the ring exhausted. Both men finally got up and RVD ran at Hassan and hit a hard Dropkick sending Hassan over the top rope. RVD then went to the top rope and waited for Hassan to get to his feet. Once Hassan did, RVD hit a Split Legged Moonsault to the outside onto Hassan
Davari came running over to attack Van Dam, but RVD caught Davari with a kick as Davari came after him. RVD grabbed a sheet of metal from under the ring and nailed Davari with it. Hassan came after RVD but RVD then took him out with a shot to the head from the metal sheet (RVD taunted to the crowd and the crowd started to cheer). RVD threw Hassan back into the ring and then grabbed a table from under the ring and slid that in as well. RVD rolled into the ring with a trash can. RVD turned around and got hit with a Low Blow on Hassan. Hassan then grabbed RVD and hit a Suplex onto the trash can.
Hassan then started to kick at RVD’s face. Hassan then grabbed the steel chair and put it over RVD’s face and stomped on it many times. RVD moved the chair off his face to reveal his crimson mask. Hassan picked RVD up and went for a DDT onto the trash can, but RVD hit Hassan in the gut a few times and reversed the DDT into a Northern Lights Suplex onto the chair. RVD went for the cover but only got a 2 count. RVD then rolled to the outside again and grabbed Joey Styles’ laptop and brought it into the ring. RVD stalked Hassan as he got to his feet and then smashed the laptop over Hassan’s head. RVD then set the table up and put Hassan on top of it. RVD went to the top rope and went for the 5-Star Frogsplash, but Davari crawled in and slid Hassan off the table as RVD was in the air. RVD went crashing through the table. Davari handed Hassan a steel chain and Hassan used it as he hooked on the Camel Clutch to make RVD pass out and become the new ECW TV Champion.
WINNER AND NEW ECW TV CHAMPION: MUHAMMAD HASSAN[/u]
Grisham: What a brutal match that was, huh Joey?
Styles: My laptop!!! Oh, yeah, that was a brutal way to end the match, and damn it! Muhammad Hassan is the NEW ECW TV Champion! We won’t hear the end of this.
Grisham: I doubt it, but both of those men have got to be seriously hurt after that match, especially RVD.
Styles: (looking back at the footage) I can’t believe how much pain both these men went through, those shots to the head from that sheet of metal.
Grisham: Yeah and then RVD crashing through that table and getting choked out by Hassan. That ladies and gentlemen was extreme.

We return to see Teddy Long back in his office with Josh Matthews.
Matthews: Well, Mr. Long, how do you think the show is so far?
Long: Oh you know it’s on and poppin’ playa. We saw Booker T take Elijah Burke to school and we crowned a NEW ECW TV Champion in such an extreme, like we do best here on ECW, and speaking of that match, this Sunday at Night of Champions, Muhammad Hassan will have his first title defense against none other than the former champion, Rob Van Dam, ya feel me?
Matthews: Oh I feel ya on that one, what do you think of the rest of the night, sir?
Long: Listen here, playa. Coming up next we got one half of the ECW Tag Team Champions Sabu going against Test which is gonna be a great match up. Then later on, the ECW Championship is on the line as Chris Benoit defends the belt against Umaga, we got ourselves a hell of a night ahead of us. Well, let’s keep it right on movin’ with Test vs. Sabu right now!
ECW TAG TEAM CHAMPION SABU VS. TEST[/u]
The match started out with a Lock Up in the middle of the ring until Test poked Sabu in the eye and hit a Back Suplex on one half of the ECW Tag Team Champions. Test then picked up Sabu and took him to the corner and hit him a few times. Test then tried to throw Sabu into the opposite corner, but Sabu reversed it into an Arm Drag. Sabu rolled to the outside and grabbed a chair and brought it into the ring. Sabu threw it at Test as he turned around and then hit a jumping DDT onto the chair. Sabu went for the cover but only got a 2 count.
A Providence fan sitting ringside had a crutch so Sabu rolled to the outside again and took the crutch from the fan. Sabu rolled back into the ring and broke the crutch over Test’s back and then hit a Bulldog. Sabu went to the top rope looking to end the match with an Arabian Facebuster, but Test moved and Sabu crashed. Sabu got up and turned around and got nailed with a Big Boot from Test. Both men lay motionless in the ring. Finally, after a few minutes, Test got to his feet and grabbed the steel chair. Test swung at Sabu, but Sabu ducked and then kicked the chair into Test’s face. Sabu went for another jumping DDT, but Test caught him and put him on his shoulders for the TKO, but Sabu slid off his back and hit a Reverse DDT. Sabu grabbed a guitar from the outside and swung it at Test, but Test ducked and hit a Low Blow on Sabu and then smashed the guitar over Sabu’s head. Test then grabbed Sabu and hit the TKO for the victory.
WINNER: TEST[/u]
Grisham: That was kind of a fast match, and now Test and the Big Show will be going for the ECW Tag Team Titles at Night of Champions.
Styles: That’s right, Todd, it’s going to be one hell of a match. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a video package of Chris Benoit we would like to share with you.
(Benoit Tribute)
Benoit: Two weeks ago, I was attacked by Finlay from behind, and last week I was pinned by him, no matter, because tonight I take my rage out against Umaga and I will retain my ECW Championship, and Finlay? If you try attacking me again tonight, I promise you, you will not make it to Night of Champions this Sunday.

Styles: Welcome back everyone to ECW, and have we had a show here tonight.
Grisham: That’s right, Joey. These fans in Providence have got a great show so far.
Styles: Yes they have and what a way to finish such a great night with and ECW Championship Match. Chris Benoit defends his belt for the first time against Umaga.
ECW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
CHRIS BENOIT (C) VS. UMAGA W/ ARMONDO ESTRADA[/u]
The match starts with Estrada getting in the face of the champion and slapping him in the face. Estrada turned around a laughed and got hit with a German Suplex from Benoit. Benoit then went at Umaga and kept punching him until they made it to the ropes and Benoit threw him off them and then caught Umaga with a Big Back Body Drop. Estrada was struggling to get up so Benoit tossed him over the rope to the outside. Benoit then went back over to Umaga and hit a German Suplex. Benoit then rolled to the outside and got a sheet of metal. Benoit brought it back into the ring and swung at Umaga, but Umaga moved and then sent Benoit across the ring with a Swift Kick.
Umaga then got up and placed the sheet across Benoit’s back. Umaga bounced off the ropes and did a sitting bomb onto Benoit’s back. Benoit struggled to get up, but when he did, Umaga nailed him with a Back Suplex onto the sheet. Umaga went for the cover but only got a two count. Umaga then took Benoit to the corner and hit him continuously until Benoit was sitting in the corner. Umaga ran to the opposite corner and ran back and Benoit and smashed him even further into the corner (fans start to boo and chant *Benoit*). Umaga motioned for Estrada to grab him a table, so Estrada did so and slid Umaga in a table. Umaga set the table up and then put Benoit on top of it. Umaga went to the top rope to go for his Splash through the table, but Benoit moved.
Umaga jumped down from the top rope and went after Chris. Umaga grabbed him and went for the Samoan Spike, but Benoit ducked and then hit 3 German Suplexes in a row. Benoit then picked up Umaga and placed him on the table. Estrada tried to attack Benoit, but Benoit caught him and he hit another 3 German Suplexes in a row. Benoit then placed Estrada on top of Umaga on the table. Benoit then went to the top rope and hit the Diving Headbutt on both Estrada and Umaga through the table (fans start to chant *Holy Sh*t*). All three men are down for a good while. Benoit finally gets up and kicks Estrada out of the ring. Benoit saw Umaga getting up so he went for the Crossface, but Umaga caught him and hit the Samoan Drop to have both men lay motionless in the ring once more.
Umaga was the first to get to his feet and Benoit was not far behind him. Both men went back and forth in the middle in the ring, Umaga with punches and Benoit with chops. Umaga finally stopped the rally with a Closeline. Umaga then went to the top rope and hit a Splash and covered Benoit only for a 2 count. Umaga then picked Benoit back up and went for the Samoan Spike, but Benoit caught Umaga’s arm and hooked in the Crossface. After a minute or two from being in the Crossface, Umaga tapped out.
WINNER AND STILL ECW CHAMPION: CHRIS BENOIT[/u]

Umaga was the first to get to his feet and Benoit was not far behind him. Both men went back and forth in the middle in the ring, Umaga with punches and Benoit with chops. Umaga finally stopped the rally with a Closeline. Umaga then went to the top rope and hit a Splash and covered Benoit only for a 2 count. Umaga then picked Benoit back up and went for the Samoan Spike, but Benoit caught Umaga’s arm and hooked in the Crossface. After a minute or two from being in the Crossface, Umaga tapped out.
