I agree with EBR. I dont' see what the meaning of this iron match is. Because I just know inthe match there's going to be like....5 falls. It'll end up being 3-2. it always does. And like, yeah, I dont' even see why we need such a match for a feud that is barely building up as it is. Aren't Iron man matches suppose to be like, hard, and like, BIG? Just my opinion.

For the first part of your post I say just let the match happen. This sequence isn't the same as the other two WFWF has seen. Two totally different wrestlers and roleplayers we are talking about. Not to mention a different writer depending on who takes the job of writing the match. Pure Rules gets some heat, but it's a slightly modified take on what the basic rules are. So that alone can change the outlook of the match. Not to discredit, these two have faced in some pretty big fights, I think while it's a Heavyweight title match. Just your normal run of the mill match would be dismissing the fact they've had a big feud with lots of focuse and many matches between eachother. This does though bring some interesting questioning though as aside from a PPV concept, a match was being talked about that may get more argument than this. But yea, best answer I can give it the match was made as a way to refuel the fire. WFWF doesn't pretend these two haven't met, and for people to even give a damn, the match should be made interesting without being completely over the top.

but an iron match match seems like a feud ender, not a feud starter...

so a razor blade board match and a ladder match both get dismissed because they were "stips for the sake of stips" but an Iron Man match is okay? Iron man is stips for the sake of stips, plus it's not even a good stip, just a long one..

Yeah... A JaRule album. And my take, in short, simple, honestly, I don't really mind an Iron Man match... Save the rest for something really big.

Uh, no it's not. Jeez, what's next. Felo De Se a gospel album?
Do some history folks; veni, vidi, vici has long been a phrase used dating back to well... long before that asshat Ja Rule.

what is up with these short ass cards, btw? this is the second PPV in a row that's had 5-6 matches.. that's not a believable PPV. Even if every match went 30 minutes or more, it would still barely break the 3 hour PPV mark. And considering the main event is GAURENTEED to only go 30, it'd make absolutely no sense for a match like Possessed Child versus Dane Christian versus David Williams to go more than 15, max.
Make the Iron Man an hour.. seriously.. it'll take more writing, but the overall outcome and believability of the rest of the show will help. This will truely make it an "Iron Man". putting Wayne and Obo over and on longer than the rest of the show. In this scenario, Thunder and Dean could end up going as the "big match" simply because of the limitations on the main event, on the match side, not the roleplay side.

Want some cheese with that whine? yes, swiss please Harvati is a real man's cheese. Seriously though, for a writer to go out of their way and be expected to write an hour long match is kind of asking a lot, especially with the most likely scenario of nobody reading it.

Want some cheese with that whine? Simple yet effective. And Obo, please.... the card is fine and you know it. So don't let me see the next PPV come around and you think you actually did anything to sway a change.

Do ya'll not have non title feuds throughout the month? I don't see anything wrong with the card, myself, but noticed there weren't any matches between people to settle any score.

Actually the X Breed Title match is sort of that, because while I have no say in it, I think if Possessed Child loses he should be called up. So that would be a closer on a more level. Less on an angle. But I can see your point. I still kinda think Blaze rushed it, and should have had the pre-show be the pre-show, because the matches had angles that would seem like they were just shy of PPV matches. But yeah, next month without reccomendation from Obo, I did plan to have more matches. It'll make sense in the weeks to come.

I never did rush the pre-show because if the FDS results were up within a good time period of 2 to 3 days, then it would have been on par with the PPV. I just cant have my guys have a week off could they could be rusty.
See last years Detroit Tigers team. Damn losers....
