WFWF Presents: Felo-de-se Location: Louis Armstrong Stadium, New York City; Manhattan, New York {The lighting dims as the infamous overture from “Rocky” is heard over the loud speakers. As it reaches its climax, a gun shot is heard before smoothly transiting into “Made You Look” by Nas. EBR pushes the curtains apart before slowly stepping out onto the stage to a mixed reaction, mostly cheers. He gradually strides down the ramp, looking around the ringside area before reaching the apron. He stands on the outside for a brief moment before swiftly sliding into the ring, immediately propping himself up before mounting the turnbuckles slowly, in unintentional epic fashion. He stares into the crowd emotionlessly before hopping down and slightly pacing around the ring. The music gradually fades out as the lights go back to their normal settings, just as EBR is handed a microphone. He backs into the turnbuckle before sitting on the top rope.}EBR: Almost one month ago, my first Felo-De-Se after a lengthy hiatus, I proclaimed that I would win back my rightful Tag Team Title. Here we are. {He holds his arms up for a brief second as the crowd catch on, and in doing so, respectfully clap.} EBR: Next week I get the chance to finally do something for myself after giving so, so much back to the WFWF. You could say I’m jumping the gun, but I’d argue I have a right to feel good going into Veni Vidi Vici. Let’s be real; Yukio Blaze holds the Tag Team Titles. Last week I beat Yukio Blaze. Considering my history…and perhaps more importantly, his…I have no reason to believe I won’t do it again. Blaze has the reputation of being a man that in a big time situation comes up a tad too short. In a pay-per-view match, with a title on the line? Well, I like my chances. But keep in mind, none of that really applies at Veni Vidi Vici. {He hops of the turnbuckle and slowly begins pacing around the ring.}EBR: Understand, for whatever illogical reason, Yukio Blaze and I are not facing for a singles title. Nah…we get to fight for the scrap metals that are currently called “The Tag Team Titles”. It’s really quite sad. Right now, neither the number one contender nor the champion have partners. However, I’ve been told that when Veni Vidi Vici comes around I’ll have one. {He shakes his head.}EBR: Again, I beat Yukio Blaze. There is nothing that leads me to believe I can’t do the same in a week’s time. With a partner? This is maybe a five minute match at the most. It’s really not even a challenge. Two against one? I don’t care who I’m facing, you give me a partner and there’s no reasonable way we should lose. Logically, any time Yukio Blaze pins my soon-to-be-named-partner I can walk into the ring and break it up. Anytime he applies a submission I can kick him in the head. We could even cut it short and straight up maul him as soon as the opening bell is rung. {Throwing his index finger up} However…I refuse to do that. EBR: I don’t like Yukio Blaze. I don’t like how he almost single handedly killed a tag team division. I don’t like how my belt’s stock dropped the second he won it, which was in a match that shouldn’t have had the titles defended in the first place. But…I’m not gonna allow any insignificant and petty personal dislike get in the way of my integrity. I don’t want to compete in a handicap match. I don’t need an advantage to win the Tag Team Titles. EBR: That said, I’m willing to cut a deal with Yukio Blaze. Unless I’m the legal man? He won’t even know I’m there. There will be no entering the ring. No attacks from behind. It’s all gonna be clean. Unless I’m tagged in I won’t touch him. He can pin my partner and I’ll watch. Simply put? This is as close to a one-on-one encounter that will ever be mustered from a technical handicap match. {In rare form, he turns and looks into the camera.}EBR: Just keep one thing in mind, Yukio. I’m a man of my word. You don’t have to fear this being a grand ploy to lure you in and strike when you least expect it. At the same time, I advise you not to take my kindness for weakness. I won’t touch you if not warranted. I expect you to do the same. {He begins to smirk.}EBR: Unless you want to be guaranteed to lose the Tag Team Titles? I hope you do the same. {“Made You Look” plays as EBR drops the mic and swiftly exits the ring.}Opening ContestDane and Child has had a very detailed history together battling over the X-Breed title along with David Williams, but this contest was a classic as usual. Dane tried to get numerous pinfalls on Child with roll ups and cradles, but Child power out of everyone of them. Dane damn near took off Child's head with a running lariat and he continued the offense by kicking him in the gut and attempt the front face dragon clutch, but Child took him down to the mat with a very unique pin that got him the 1, 2, 3.Winner by Pinfall, Possessed ChildTag TeamThis was a terrific by dominating tag team match has Castle took Spider out of the match very early with a strong brainbuster, leaving Shields all by his self. Lee and Castle entered the ring and was double teaming Shields with punches and kicks. The ref finally got some order by sending Castle to his corner, but the ref didnt see Lee hitting Shields with a low blow and that in return, Lee hoisted Shields over his shoulder and have him the Burning Hammer and followed it up with a pin.Winners by Pinfall, Luther Castle and Calvin Lee*** As we find ourselves outside of CBT's office once again, we spot EBR walking in with a fairly easy and relaxed look on his face. As we try to get a closer look we can see CBT jumping off his feet to greet EBR as both men shake hands. EBR takes a small bottle of hand sanitizer out of his pocket and uses it as CBT simply stares. Finally, he speaks.CBT: So I guess you’re getting that tag team title shot, huh? EBR: This just gonna be small talk? CBT: Fair enough, I really can't see what explanation I owe you, but I'll try to meet you half way. You beat Blaze, therefore you now have the facts to support whether or not you deserve a title shot. However you still lack a partner, and while Blaze fell through the cracks, I wouldn't think of disrespecting you and I imagine you trust me to be the one to pick your partner. EBR: Well, see, it’s kind of complicated. Mainly since there’s no one I really want to team with …so yeah… CBT: I guess you got me there. So let's try to get something accomplished. I talked to Alex Sean… EBR:…You don’t know Al. CBT: I was just kidding- EBR: In fact, I’m quite sure he doesn’t like you. CBT: Again, joking. {EBR shakes his head and chuckles.}EBR: Anyways, my partner? CBT: I'm not real sure, I tried calling guys like Destroyer, Raider, Shape and Opal but none of them answer my calls EBR: I heard Opal’s father was impotent. Anyways, I’m sure they all intended to call you back. CBT: Yeah I thought so, but I can't have uncertainties in this match. I mean I questioned signing TA. But yea, others I've contacted like Immune... EBR: I don’t know who that is. Sorry. CBT: Don’t worry, I only asked him who he had in mind, since back in 05, 95% of the roster was a part of the UIA. But he told me he hasn't been in contact with Saku, and everyone else is in rehab. EBR: I see, well do you think I'll know by PPV? CBT: I don't know, but I've changed my mind on the whole situation. I'm putting the choice in your hands, just to make sure we our clear on it. You won't get a title match if you choose no one but yourself. We clear? EBR: How about Wayne McGurk? I have no issue with him. CBT: He already has a match. EBR: Josh Dean? CBT: Again, has a match. EBR nods his head before rising out of his chair.EBR: Alright, you can just pick a name out of a hat or something… He turns and leaves.*** Three-Way-Four-Man-FrayThe match kicked off with Yukio Blaze, Thunder, and Master of Destruction squaring it off in the ring. The three men took their time joking for their opening, going back and forth. Thunder picked his spots and seemed to be the aggressor for the most part. Mikael West came into the match and threw Thunder over the ropes, and put the works on Yukio. Yukio fought them both off, but in the end MOD and West seemed to over power Blaze; MOD clipped Blaze with the enziguri and West took him down with a powerbom. MOD made the cover, but Thunder broke it up at two; via. Diving elbow from the top rope. West charged toward thunder, but Thunder ducked West’s attack and took him down with a reverse ddt. Former enemies, Yukio Blaze and Thunder worked together, and in their efforts fought off MOD and West, thus evening out the match; MOD and West sent Blaze and Thunder into the ropes, both men bounces back and took MOD and West down with the shining wizard. Yukio covered West; Thunder covered MOD. Yuiko released West at two, rolled through, and hooked the unsuspecting Thunder into a school boy for the cover and got the victory. The Winner: Yukio BlazeThe Next EncounterCBT tried his best to take Obo out. Cbt was applying submissions that he normally doesnt do and he almost got Obo to tap out with a Crossface type of move, but Obo was able to gets his hands on the ropes. CBT let go and stood back waiting for Obo to get up, but CBT ran towards Obo and gave him a wicked running foot wash and send Obo out of the ring. The ref started the ten count, but CBT slid under the ropes to the outside and he rolled Obo back in the ring. The ref started to count out CBT, but he didnt care as he was looking for something under the ring. CBT takes three seconds under the apron and he then pulls out a steel chair and slides back in the ring. The ref steps in front of him trying to take the chair and CBT overpowers him by pushing him to the mat, but he doesnt see Obo behind him and when CBT turns around to blast Obo, Obo kicks CBT in the face with the Yakuza kick to the steel chair, to CBT's face and Obo covered him and the ref gave a very quick count, 123.Winner by Pinfall, OboMain EventMcGurk made JD his bitch fair and simple. McGurk wouldnt let JD get even get a kick or punch in and thats when McGurk nailed JD with the Blister City Slam and a pinfall, 1, 2, 3. The ref tried to raise McGurk's hand but he continued the offense on Dean by giving him another BC Slam and he followed that up hoisting Dean in the air and giving him the Dead End. McGurk still didnt give up and he put Dean in a front face choke and thats when the ref exited the ring and told the announcer to reverse the decision and that Josh Dean has won the match. McGurk looked to the ref and appeared to be coming for him, but the ref booked into the audience, but then appearing on the ramp was Obo with the World title raised in the air. McGurk was yelling to Obo that this is going to be him as he was pointing to JD's near dead body.Winner by Reverse Decision, Josh Dean

I'm leaving this here as a pacifier.
You know, in the past we've actually waited a lot longer, patiently, for the results to get up.
As for what I put into the results, I'll still be posting them up.

see, add a segment or two, and these results are perfectly acceptable. there's really no reason to go all out on weekly results. PPVs, I can understand, but a paragraph or two for weekly results is more than fine..

I completely agree with Obo. And like Yukio said, it takes a half hour to write them. And yes, we've waited longer, but whent hat happened I got fed up and left, like a lot of others did.

This is an omen of sorts. heh. I'll admit, in the case of FDS and HS the matches could probably benefit to be in highlight or caption format. I think there was just a point where everyone tried to one up the last, and there was definately a point where match could be more fun to read when it was written in depth. Personally I know results like these are easy to write, I just think at times it can disappoint somebody. Someone who pulls out the best rp of their time here gets a sentence of offence, sentence of defense, and loses because regardless they were gonna? See what I'm saying is, results like these are clear cut and while some might like to just get to the point. It's a bit of a letdown to see such vague results that don't do much to explain how you lost. I dunno, it's strange. I guess I'm a fan of telling a story.... yeah I know someone wants to say it's more like novels. But results like these are almost secondary to me, because they make the match seem not at all competitive, and very easy to call. Regardless of my comments above, nice to see Blaze giving us something of an eye opener.

you are exactly right CBT. The only reason results are so big as they are, is every week people try to make it better then the last. It all started out when Flaps decided to try to post these 20 page results for PPVs, which lead to weekly shows, and like, it went from there. Then it got to the point where these amazing results, were coming later and later. What would you rather have? Bad results that are on time, that MAY disappoint a person or two. Or late results, and disappoint pretty much EVERYONE because they are gonna lose their rping momentum, and stuff like that, just beacause you want them to be amazing. I think A is the better choice.

up to as total of 6 wins over CBT.. :-P Maybe in Obo versus CBT 45, CBT will win. Maybe. Well, probably not.. Funny. Not to contradict myself by any means, but consider yourself lucky the belt wasn't on the line..... Oh and Lee and really anybody whose interested in future change, here's what me and Mike are gonna do for future shows. HS and FDS results will be exactly like this. However, PPVs we will go all out because both me and Mike aswell as a lot of writers, EBR and Josh Dean, Dane Christian and Thunder come to mind, they don't write long or lengthy just to do so. We like to tell a story, because we enjoy a good match, and whether it has a enlightened side like E's or just intensity like some of the stuff I've seen Obo write in the past. It's a nice way to differentiate from the pack so long as stuff is coming in on time. But yeah see what I was getting at is, PPVs will be more detailed, and also in the case of FDS we will take more time not in the actual sense but in focuse on title matches and the FDS main event. In the sense matches will probably be short review but what's essentially important like title defenses and as I said a main events on FDS... those will generally be done in a way so that the matches still carry the importance they deserve. Only thing I can say that probably will go on a deaf ear is that with the change you'll probably see less matches in the WFWF 24/7 although in all fairness I'd like to think when I leave so do my personal creations.

Also, the CBT/E segment was a joint effort, with CBT writing the majority and me changing any parts that didn't work. I'm getting my credit, mang. Roleplays of the week 1. Wayne McGurk - Running Around 2. Obo - Striken 6 3. Possessed Child - Cowardly Behavior? Speaking of, I think it's kind of sad that McGurk put out one of the better roleplays of the year this week and no one replied.

Oh and I don't see the resembelance especially considering the dude is the clean shaven type and I'm not. On top of the fact while my hair grows quick I usually always keep it like a fade. I'll settle for the fact though if I was selling the pics for $5 you'd be quick to send me $20 with a post it note suggesting I sign as John Edwards.

One of my better RP's this year, it only took one sitting and an hour and half to whip up...
