so i was playing mlb 08 the show the other day and i hit a home run and normally you see where the ball goes and replays and all, but i hit it and it went right to the next batter. no replays or anything. has this happened to anyone before? does anyone know how to fix it?

You are probably playing on fast/quickplay mode.

One time I hit a foul line drive off the dugout and it came back into fair territory and they called it a hit.
Another time I was the Yankees and and Johnny Damon somehow caught a fly ball facing AWAY from the infield, crow hopped, and threw it into the area where the retired numbers are, and the runner from 2nd scored and cost me the game.
MLB The Show has had many glitches in the past. Hopefully they fix 09 and make it more playable.

either you have fast play on or go to settings and turn off hr celebration camera. I hate the fukudome glitch on the cubs where if he hits a solo shot when the next batter comes up fukudome is on 1st base or if hes on base and you hit a homer he is on the next base when the next batter comes up.

mlb 2k8 has had many glitches in the past. Hopefully they fix 09 and make it more playable and fun. It sucks huevos compared to The Show. better |
