Lets hear what you guys think. I chose nominees that definitely have their spot cemented in the Hall of Fame, and one that is already in the Hall. Make your decision based on each man's entire career, who they've beaten, their main talents, etc. This is not a popularity contest.

Couture has bounced to much from heavyweight to LHW to be the best. He lost alot of fights at LHW also.

^^^
Agreed. I would replace him with Tito Ortiz....that is just me though..
You can make an arguement for Rampage, Liddell, and Silva..
but I would have to go with Liddell because he completely ruled the UFC for years. He never really fought dangerous strikers like he is now (which is why he is losing) but he still has impressive wins over Babalu(twice), Tito Ortiz(twice), Jeremy Horn, Randy Couture(twice), Kevin Randleman, Wanderlei Silva, Guy Mezger, and Vitor Belfort.

I'm going to say Randy Couture, but Chuck Liddell is right up there next to him.
His drop to lightheavyweight at 40 was amazing. He ran through Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz and Vitor Belfort with ease, which at the time, and still is, unbelievable. Then after he coached TUF 1, he was involved in the biggest trilogy in MMA history with Chuck Liddell that brought in whole new fans and made the sport huge. I have to go with him.

Allistair Overeem? Guy Mezger? Vitor Belfort? Vernon White? Those are all from years ago. Thing in common? Great strikers with a combined 44 knockouts.

There is a difference between a guy having knockout power and being a "dangerous striker". Tank Abbott has KO power. Anderson Silva and Rampage are dangerous strikers. Plus on top of that breakdown each guys individual MMA record and none of them have really beaten a noteworthy opponent by (T)KO besides maybe Vitor Belforts first fight win over Randy Couture.

He mauled Wandy as well. Just wanted to point that out. I see where you're coming from though. I'd probably have to pick Liddell as having a hand on this label at the moment. I think Rampage could pass him up if he continues doing what he's doing. Either way, Liddell will have a significant spot. He was pretty much at the center of the huge attention boom that UFC had a few years ago.

Okay yeah I know he isn't on here, but I mean, the guys doing great..and if he continue on the streak he's on, he'll be the best lightheavyweight ever....possibly.

I knew I forgot someone...I was going to mention that but I forgot.. but yes he did destroy Wanderlei...but both guys are similar strikers...and that is if either one connects you are going to go down...they both like to come out the gate guns a blazing and Vitor just happened to beat him to the punch..it would be a much different fight in my opinion if it were to happen again..

That is a tough one. The list you have, each of those guys were dominant at one time.
