They did something similar to this with the last Affliction event.

this is crazy..
it is like I don't even need to order the PPVs since they are just going to end up showing it on spike a month or two later anyways.. I'm not sure if I should be mad or happy..
but whatever, I'll watch I guess.

I'm just pissed no bar around me is showing the Affliction show. Every place I call says they are showing the UFC instead the following weekend.

I know which one I will be watching. Even though I would rather watch the live Affliction, I will save some bucks and watch the free UFC.

What a stupid move by UFC. This could really upset fans who just shelled out money to buy the ppv a few months ago. There used to be a wrestling company that did things like this...they WERE called WCW.

Why would it upset fans exactly?
If it was shown a few days after the actual event for free then fair enough, but a few months after shouldn't bother anyone. If you're prepared to have the event spoiled by getting the results & waiting two months that is your choice but how many fans would do that? This way in current economic cloiment fans rewatch a great show for free, bars pick it up instead of the PPV & Affliction gets screwed again.

I'll end up watching this since I'm not ordering Affliction this time, and I never saw it the first time around.
