TNA Impact thoughts as I watch the replay. - Recap of nonsense, why is Joe even feuding with Christian? He just lets Angle go and forgets about losing everything...wow. - Already starting out with Angle amazing! - Gail Kim is a sight for sore eyes due to terrible Roster Management. First match was alright, Roode has been so mis-booked since beating JJ its sad. Kazarian is a fresh face but TNA has no idea how to push its stars that aren't AJ or Abyss. - Christian "hurt" which means he's showing up later tonight since TNA still does this swerves that everybody see's - James Storm segment dragged on with the only funny parts coming at the last 10 seconds. - Black Goldust is lame as hell - Young and Truth bores me, Pacman jones is a joke and I doubt anybody on ESPN gives a craphe spray painted anybody. Why are these guys getting tag title shots? - AJ/Tomko looking for Joe, again I hate how Joe is booked. Dudleys are "faces" yep means another SWERVE is coming up. Keep insulting the Audience more than you have already. - joe attacks Tomko and locks the door and chases AJ out into the ring all in a span of 3 seconds, AMAZING. - LOOK its Christian, stupid swerve and the crowd is dead, love the piped in boo's. - More Total Nonstop Angle ending with a "one-liner" Line of the night as we hit a commercial break: Kazarian: "Problem Number one is, your a PRICK" Don West: " WOW can we say that on this station?!" Wow that just makes TNA look more bush league not "edgy" - Well done James Mitchell Promo, betcha $1000 he costs Abyss the match vs Angle. - Christ the Steiners are in horrible shape - I'm glad the IWGP title has been phased out, wait nm he still has it. I hate Angles new song though, doesn't work for him. - I've seen more commercials for TNA Mobile than X-Division Wrestlers. Commercial Break: while I'm on it, why the hell is Angle having a "lottery" with 2 guys who are faces and 2 guys who have matches already? I've seen better booked figure feds. If you wanna see a well booked "partners who hate each other" check out the Hardy/MVP vs Duece/Domino Angle that played out friday on Smackdown, done perfectly. Back to IMPACT! - I miss when TNA had good teams in the spotlight like the Naturals,AMW and XXX and built around them. Not slow slugs like the Steiners and Team 3D. - I give credit for the crowd still being able to get into this. Nice Suplex on Angle from Rick. Steiner tons of Suplexes and Chops. Bad roll up and Olympic Slam for a 2! Karen Angle is already overexposed in this match. - omgz the dudleyz! Another SWERVE in less than 20 minutes lolz. Angle wins again whoopeee. When you are showcasing the Dudleys and Steiners as your top teams getting the most tv time, it is truely sad. What happened to the XXX push? The whole EY and Truth/Pacman thing is stupid. Do they really think people care? I completely saw Angle winning the whole time. Not one X-Division match. Not even an X-division promo, eww. The AJ/Joe thing seemed pointless to me. The James Mitchell promo was very good, and had me interested in what was going on, now only if TNA could do that for the other 57 minutes of programming. The saddest part is, I still watch TNA because deep inside I hope they get out of this shitty period they are going threw, but damn with shows like this, my intrest in the product is leaving at a fast rate. |

Time to play MLB2K7 on PS3 Joe's feud with Cage is because when Joe came into the building...the first thing he heard was how Cage is the real champ. Joe addressed HJ and Cage last week, thus the feud...it's new but it didnt just pop outta nowhere. Like it or not..Angle is the focal point for TNA, just like vince's bastared baby stoyline is WWE's focal point  Kim/Kaz team up to piggy back off the feud between her and brooks from hj. EY is feuding with killings because of the week before...so you have two new storylines that are continued from something tht happened previously..make sense to me. the Christian segment, predictable or not was gold...and typical christian..what exactly did you want? Stom segment again...continues the feud...does this not seem sensical? I was not in favor of black goldust but seems they are giving him a split personality type thing which is fresh and should work well Young and truth bore you? Fine, but the match made sense because of what predicated the match So YOU hate how JOe is book but it makes sense based on what i previoulsy stated...and It's a fresh feud. Should Joe be after angle...Yes, and I believe eventually he will...anyway, i could go on and on but it seems to me your disapproval of the product is based on your own personl likes/dislikes, not that the matches dont make sense. |

- Dustin Runnels is terrible now, no matter what rehashed gimmick you give him he isn't over and wont draw money nor pop any ratings barrier.
- Fresh Feud? Last time i checked TNA already forced people to pay for Joe/Christian on a PPV to see these guys fight and atleast that was for a title which made some sense.
Its not my personal dislikes its also obvious dislikes of people other than the same million TNA attract every week. Atleast WWE Ratings go up and down from 4.1 to 3.6 meaning they get some new people and lose some people. TNA gets the same crapeveryweek and there horrid booking is the only people to blame as to why people see it as bush league and don't wanna watch.

Again you are basing your opinion of the product on what you personally like or dislike not that its nonsensical. Everything you mentioned had logic behind it whether you liked it or not. So consequently the product is only good if it's what you want to see..which, like most fans, is gonna be fickle. If you dont like it fine, but if you're gonna bash it bash it becasue it's proven to be bashed not becasue it doesnt line up with your personal feelings about what's goin on in the company...Hey Punk lost tonight...am i gonna bash WWE, like some people have done? no, I'll continue to watch and even if I dont like it I'll watch it...now if they give boogey man a world title shot outta no where and Punk into a feud with the miz, without some explaination to the transition, then I'll be like WTF. |

When i see guys who should get pushed get pushed and things make sense as i said then i will give credit. Low Ratings should be enough proof that things make no sense and nobody is intrested in what TNA is doing.

Are they pushing the talent that "should" be pushed? There;s got to be more than just ratings to justify why TNA is not a good prodcut |

WWE Ratings were higher earlier this year because the build for Wrestlemania was good, they were hitting in the 4.0-4.1

I just dont think people in genral have given TNA a fair shake...TNA's ratings havent been above a 1.0 since they've debut, even when they've had X division guys being showcased. Again you've got TNA fans and WWE fans...the fluxuation in rating in both TNA and WWE is do to those...non mainstream fans. Fact is WWE's been around longer, people know more about WWE and they have a bigger follwowing. If you put WWE and TNA out at the same time you'd see the same ratings.
the monday night wars have to be considered an anomoly becasue wrestling was at its peak. Both shows had high ratings in the 4,5's and sixes on average. Fact is wrestling is not as popular as it was. You have more people watching indies wrestling but not enough to make a significant difference in ratings for WWE or TNA. And less watching the overall product except the mainstream fans.
All I'm saying is that you cant expect ratings to go up when the overall state of wrestling is different...it's not in anymore, it's for the hardcore fans, and until TNA or WWE really get the attention of the public your gonna basically see the same ratings each week. I mean you cant completely blame the booking casue god knows both programs have thrown stuff out there to grab people attention...people just arent interested. thats my view anyway

If TNA tried they could be the alternative and get good ratings, they wanna be WWE-Lite then people will look at them as bush league and watch the real WWE.

Since they have gone on spike they changed the way they book and the influx of ex-WWE stars increased. I want to see them book properly as in the past but NOW with the T.V. Deal and all and see what ratings they get.
They might aswell, whats gonna happen?

A Low Rating? well if they implement it the way so many people want...more x guys, less WWE guys, etc, then the ratings shouldnt go lower. Isnt this the arguement? Bad booking, ill use of home grown stars is the reason for low interest/ratings. If these elements are integrated into the program the ratings should increase? Again, if this is done and it goes up then thats the answer, if it doesnt go up, then what the hell esle more can they do? Personally i think it'll go up but not much, 2.0 tops and that's pushing it...why? becasue there's not enough non mainstream interest, even if TNA changed the booking and focused more on the X divison that would not help pull a significantly or on par with WWE, higher rating. It didnt when they started out and it wont now...if it was something that worked i think TNA woulda stuck with it. they try different directions to test the market. As long as the rating doesnt drop to a .5 they believe they are doing fine and will continue in the way they are going...so every attempt to do something different, although, some dont agree with it is an attempt to improve ratings...they did it with the X division, the S.E.X. bringing in one athlete after another, etc. Nothings popped the ratings, not becasue of booking but becasue of the state of wrestling. |

Booking? yeah right. Batista vs Finlay and Kane vs MVp everyweek isnt much of an undercard either. It's because in spite of WWE shitty asss booking the core fans will still be around. |
