I liked how it wasn't made in the conventional style, and that there was no theatrical score/soundtrack. It's worth a watch.

I thought it was an amazing theater experience, but I feel that it doesn't translate well to DVD. It just doesn't compare to watching it on the big screen and having the theater surround sound making you feel like you're in the film. Give it a watch though. You'll never know if you like it if you don't.

Its one of my favorite films. Not necessarily because of the movie itself, but because of the promotion, the marketing campaign, and everything that surrounded it. I've never had as much fun with a film as I did that movie. It was amazing to speculate up until the 18th, and it was one of, if not the greatest theater experience I've ever had.
Unfortunately, it loses a lot of its magic on DVD. Even on Blu-Ray, it simply does not do the movie justice. It is a theater experience, and if you missed it in the theaters, you can't possibly see it in the same light as those who did.
I recommend checking it out regardless, but just know that you're only getting about half of what its worth.

It was fun, sadly I never go to see it in theaters, but I still enjoyed it.

I loved it in the theater, but I doubt it's worth watching on DVD.

Okay movie. It had some moments. At the very end (when they're in the ferris wheel), keep your eyes peeled in the background. Some say you can see something splash into the ocean.

I liked it. I a big fan of the "giant monster destroys the city" genre. I will always watch a Godzilla movie, even the shitty ones. Except for the American one. that one.

What a **** ending. The tunnel collapsed and killed them, i get tht Is it dead What were those things from the train tunnel How did they find the tape What happend to NYC What was that thing said at the end of the credits There better be a #2 You have to remember, this movie was supposed to be a "home video." It was made from the experience of the people involved. They didn't know what the monster was, or where it came from...so you don't know. It wasn't exactly telling a story, it was showing the group of friends trying to survive. It's all first person view. You see what they see. You know what they know. No more, no less.
