As many of you may or may not read...the company known as AWF is done. I hope Jamal doesn't mind me doin this but I think it's necessary. Here's what was written:
Hey guys watsup. In case you couldn't tell by looking up in the left hand corner... its wwefan617 lol. Ummm I hate to put a downer on everyone, but I have decided to leave pic fedding. There has been a lot going on in my neighborhood. Recently I lost someone very close to me (I have talked to you about this DJ). I don't want to say specifically what happened, but yeah I need to spend more time with my family and friends instead of being behind a camera and in front of a computer all day. So I am done with pic fedding and you can mark the death of AWF. I'm not saying I won't ever come back, but my family and I are moving as well to a better town. If I do come back it will be in 2, 3, or even 4 months. If I don't come before 4 months... I'm gone. I want to thank all of you who made AWF possible. And don't forget about good ol' wwefan lol. I will still try my best to hang around the boards and hell I might even get the pic fed spark later. But as of right now I need to leave for a while. Once again I want to thank all of you. I wish I could thank you guys individually but you guys change display names so often its hard to catch up lol. I love you guys... no homo... well... maybe a lil homo. lol. Take care guys. And I hope AWF entertained you.
I will have somewhat of a showcase and show you guys some unreleased matches (matches I didn't put in shows cuz I wasn't too fond of them) I will also tell you how the story lines would have played out and stuff. Just like a goodbye kind of thing... Hopefully I come back =)

On a personal note, I would like to say thank you to wwefan617. He's been an absolute great partner to work with. I couldn't have asked for better. He really is the one that brought me back to the pic fed game and arguably single handedly revived this board with his persistence, support, and dedication. I think we can all learn alot from his example.
As far as AMERICAN WRETLING FEDERATION(AWF) is concerned, It will be a greatly missed fed. It had great poses and camera work. Let's hope wwefan617 gets the spark again
That said, since GENEXT was a part of AWF, Genext will now be temporarily run as a separate entity.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM GENEXT CEO Pete Gruner:
It is with great disappointment to hear that the American Wrestling Federation will be shutting it's doors. I am thankful to the AWF for the opportunities it has given me and the opportunities it's given to many wrestlers. As CEO of Genext I will continue to run the Genext brand as a separate entity, pulling all our resources to secure the survival of the brand. Also, the Revolt X Division is still on course. However, with funds being pulled, the future of GENEXT now also stands in jeopardy. Recently, I've been in talks with several interested investors but, the recent developments may put a strain on negotiations. Stay tuned for more.
