i gotta admit, this could be something. hes in great shape, already has the acting part down. this could really be something special. and theres no better worker then jericho to make it truly shine.

As much as I'd dislike for Jericho to lose, I can't see how this can really go THAT wrong. As dude said above, he's got the acting, he's got the shape, and he knows at least a bit about wrestling. And Jericho could carry just about anyone to a good match, in my opinion. So it could be entertaining at least.

It's a brilliant idea to bring in a man who's up for the oscar for best lead actor to garner mainstream media attention. Absolutely brilliant!

Good publicity for WWE, bad publicity for the movie.
Why would an Oscar nominated movie wanted to be involved with a company that the majority of America thinks is a total joke?
Not to mention the match is going to be absolutely horrible, and there is no way in hell that Chris Jericho deserves to lose to Mickey Rourke, and god knows Rourke isn't going to lose.

He shouldn't have worded it, "Vince asked me to do Wrestlemania". He should have just challenged Jericho from the start. Regardless, I am still marking & CAN NOT WAIT for this haha.
EDIT: I watched this video first,

I'm really digging this tbh. Could be a decent match depending on how much Rourke was actually trained.

I wish Jericho still did the Highlight Reel, that way they could just do a WM Highlight Reel with Special Guest: Mickey Rourke. That way Jericho doesnt come off looking weak

Very much looking forward to this. Considering that the movie's accolades are all about Rourke's performance, it's damn intriguing to think of him trying it out in realtime, live on PPV, in front of a huge audience.
The "ZOMG Burial~!!!!" nonsense is already making me laugh. Jericho is the perfect guy to take Rourke to a good match, and it's not like Jericho has many other options for WrestleMania (he can either be in Money in the Bank or he can start a feud with Rey Mysterio, none of which are going to put him in the spotlight like a match with Rourke). Whichever way the result comes out, I'm excited for the match. I hope it does happen. For those of you caught up in the wrestling bubble, a loss to Mickey Rourke does much more for Chris Jericho's star power than a win over Rey Mysterio or competing in a ladder match does.
It is very weird to imagine an Oscar nominee wrestling at WrestleMania, though.

I think its a good idea, will be great to see, and its better to have him in a match rather than some other celebrity that dosnt know anything about wrestling, aleast he has been trained.
