TNA wrestler Abyss doesn't want to be known only as a hardcore wrestler, but he's also proud of his accomplishments as a hardcore wrestler and wants to be considered one of the great brawlers in wrestling history.
"I want everyone to consider me as one of the best big men in the business," Abyss told Daris Brown of Bleacher Report about the legacy he'd like to leave behind. "And also that I was one of the premier hardcore wrestlers."
Abyss is scheduled to face Matt Morgan at the Against All Odds PPV next Sunday after their storyline "friendship" was ended by Morgan on last week's Impact. Abyss says they're looking forward to working together.
"You can expect the Matt Morgan and I are going to revolutionize how the big men square off," Abyss said.
Abyss also talked about wrestling his hardcore style and whether he's concerned going into a hardcore match.
"You know going into these hardcore matches that there's a good chance that you could get hurt," Abyss said. "And you prepare yourself for those moments. But I don't worry too much about them."
