I have only started watching TNA fairly recently and was wondering, Is there any year since it's formation that TNA have regularly put on good weekly shows? I don't mean to come across as negative, but from what I have seen at the moment, I am not impressed. I was thinking of watching some older years action if it is any better, to give it a chance. What do you think?

Their shows back when they had the weekly PPVs were amazing. Then they went on cable and it was great, then all the former WWE guys came and ruined TNA.
2002-2005. TNAs best years.

TNA was the ing **** from 2002 until 2006. Especially 2005 to 2006. i completely agree..the jaff hardy and sabu sort of era and when DDP was feuding with jeff jarret and jeff was feuding with abyss als othe 2 divas were like fighting to be with dusty and all that sota era it was the [glow=gold,2,300]GOLDEN ERA[/glow] for tna in my opinion...that was sort of like wwf attitude era as it were and NWA TNA in the assylum was like old wcw and i liked that too......but since like after christian cages run as main eventer its sort of gone down hill for me

Weekly PPV's were the best. I however liked when Christian FINALLY got his chance to shine. I also miss the days wondering when Monty Brown would be NWA-Champ. Same for Hardy but he seemed to be pushed out of the spotlight in TNA around Unbreakable '05.

2002-2004 was the only time I really enjoyed watching TNA consistently... you could probably stop watching religiously after they bring in Johnny Fairplay only stopping to tune in to a couple matches like Joe/AJ/Daniels' matches from 05 or 06 I believe they were.

I loved TNA in 2005, it had a mix of the Wrestlers that you'd seen before in a new scene and the fresh new wrestlers you had never seen before and were amazed by their skill in the ring. 2005 was the first year I got into TNA and couldn't get enough of it, the In-Ring wrestling was great and couldn't get over how talented these guys were.

TNA was the ing **** from 2002 until 2006. Especially 2005 to 2006. Says it all really. TNA was infinitely better when they actually put a focus on the X-Division.
