Well if your talking about recently, then people may understand but your original post made it seem like you were just a troll, I think thats where all the name-calling came from, maybe he has been getting lazy as of late, I havent been keeping up, He is great from his past work though.

It just pisses me off, so many other wrestlers want the belt more than him.

My thoughts? You're a ing idiot who wouldn't know a good wrestler if he came up and slapped you in the face. Joe is one of the best going today, and if you don't see that... well then I would have to question your ability to judge what is talent. Those sir, are my thoughts. Well done. Calling Joe "lazy" had me rolling...

I don't see all the hype in Samoa Joe. He is a great performer, especially at Indy shows. But on national TV, I honestly don't see him as the star that people see him to be, or want him to be. He doesn't really have charisma to connect to a large audience. He usually makes his opponents look silly or inferior to him, which doesn't help those guys for the sake of building a company. So in conclusion I think Joe is a great talent, just I'm not sure if he could carry a company. There, I tried to come up with an argument/honest opinion instead of saying "he is good for a fat guy." ok this was put way better than what I said. but what I see on TV is what I judge Somoa Joe from. I apologize if I offended anyone from my strong way of expressing my thoughts but it makes me really upset when a growing company is trying their best and they get dragged by wrestlers who dont GIVE their best. with that last statement wrestlers who dont give there best. Since Jurt Angle got to tna has he given his best. not at all.

So in conclusion I think Joe is a great talent, just I'm not sure if he could carry a company. There, I tried to come up with an argument/honest opinion instead of saying "he is good for a fat guy." He doesn't have charisma to connect with a large audience? Are you blind? He's the most over guy in TNA despite what they do to him through piss poor booking. He carried ROH through a pedophilia scandal and made them the #1 wrestling company going. He's miserable right now, and is still a top 3 talent in pro wrestling. Yeah, god forbid if you have a different opinion than others do. No, you can have a different opinion as long as it's not stupid. I think Joe has toned down alot here in the last year, but alot of it has to do with him making the transition from being a guy that worked 60 minute matches in front of Indy Smarks, to working a 15 minute match on National Television, that has to appeal to the Smarks/Marks, but also draw interest from the casual/non wrestling fans. Either way, he's still a great talent, and for a guy that's 300 lbs., he utilizes his size very well. He has a great look, he's decent on the mic, and he's very over with TNA fanbase. Joe could carry the company if they'd just give him the chance. Joe has toned nothning down. Stop using the terms, smarks and marks. It sounds ridiculous and makes your point have less impact by using terms that have nothing to do with what you're trying to get at. you've basically only showed that you can call names and be disrespectful. READ BEFORE YOU START CALLING NAMES No, we've shown that we know a lot more about Joe then you. We also know how to make an articulate point instead of "he's fat and sloppy!!" MY THOUGHTS on Joe is he is LAZY and sloppy, I said he was good and im not going to start calling all of you guys names because that was uncalled for. Your thoughts are wrong. I've known Joe for almost five years now, and have the privledge of being able to call him a friend. He's far from sloppy, and he's even farther from lazy. Nobody, and I mean nobody works harder and studies the sport harder. You calling Joe false names was uncalled for. MY THOUGHTS was that he is lazy and sloppy, when he was in ROH he was like 50 pounds less than what he is now.. Actually, Joe weighs 285 right now, that's the same weight he was for the last two years. Thanks for playing. he has messed up alot lately and I think he just doesnt care, when he's in the ring he gets too excited from the fans and starts moving too fast and messes up. Joe might not like TNA or fans like yourself. BUt to say he doesn't care is absurd to the highest degree. Nobody cares more then Joe. He never messes up in the ring, unless it's someone else's fault. There's a reason he and Bryan Danielson are referred to as the two best wrestlers on the planet as far as being flawless in the ring goes. He will take a guy like Kurt angle or Christian and mess the match up because he wants to put himself over. Dumb comments like the above are justification for calling you stupid. he use to be awesome, actually he was amazing. But in the past few months and almost a year now he has been sloppy and lazy. if you dont agree, thats fine because its your thoughts on the situation. But how dare you call me names because I dont like how Joe has been wrestling. Nobody says you have to like his wrestling, but there are plenty of ways to say it in an articulate manner. You've not done that at all. ok this was put way better than what I said. but what I see on TV is what I judge Somoa Joe from. I apologize if I offended anyone from my strong way of expressing my thoughts but it makes me really upset when a growing company is trying their best and they get dragged by wrestlers who dont GIVE their best. You offended common sense, you should be apologizing to him or her. It's S amoa Joe, and he gives his best more then anyone else. It's not his or our fault you've chosen not to see it. well if I was talking about his wrestling all together I would have posted this last year. lol but these past couple months...have been garbage. It just pisses me off, so many other wrestlers want the belt more than him. Joe wants to have the title belt and be the guy to turn TNA around. It's TNA who doesn't want Joe with the belt because he doesn't respect the company or the fans of TNA because of their lack of intelligence. Joe wants out, and he'll be out in two and a half years, back in ROH where he belongs. Wrestling is fake, but everyone wants to be the top guy. For you to say Joe is content, being lazy and sloppy is ridiculous.

"He will take a guy like Kurt angle or Christian and mess the match up because he wants to put himself over."
When I read your first post, I just thought you were ranting like an idiot.
But the quote above proves that you have no idea what the hell you're talking about at all.

How can you say Joe hasn't toned down? He's nowhere near as stiff as he was when he first came into TNA, which is one of the main things that got him over in the first places.

Joe has toned nothing down. You must not have watched enough of him. I've watched Joe since 2001's APW King of the Indies. The only things that have changed is he's learned to work with lesser opponens and control the crowd.

Coming from one of the biggest Joe marks on this board, I've seen plenty of Joe. As far as TNA goes, he's very toned down as of late, especially with workers like Angle, Christian, Jarrett etc. You don't see Joe being nowhere near as stiff with them as he was with Styles, Daniels, Sabin etc. in TNA back in 2005/early 2006.

Other then the spot on the penalty box last night, Joe has toned nothing down. He's just more comfortable with who he's working against so you do not notice it. The same could be said for KENTA's ROH work.

In all honesty, maybe it's just me...but I find Joe terribly over-rated. And I'm a huge ROH fan, and I ing loved Joe until like mid-06...when I realized he's been having the SAME match since 2004. He's like Chris Daniels, except not as bad. Dude put no effort in anywhere except ROH...and when TNA came knocking, even that dimmed out a little. Sure...he did put on some great matches from 6/06 to 2/07...but he was never the same as the 2004 monster that he was. He has the same gimmick, same moveset, same character, same mannerisms, same spots, same ing everything. When so many guys are evolving and changing year by year (Low Ki, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, NIGEL MCGUINNESS, Bryan Danielson, Necro Butcher all being some), seeing Joe literally become stagnant really turned me away from him. Like 70% of his matches in his last...8 months were absolutely boring and predictable (see vs. Rave at the FYF). And I thought TNA fans over-rated Shelley...

Sgt. Intelligence, I'm not going to quote your whole post because that'd take up too much room. But you stated:
"He doesn't have charisma to connect with a large audience? Are you blind? He's the most over guy in TNA despite what they do to him through piss poor booking. He carried ROH through a pedophilia scandal and made them the #1 wrestling company going. He's miserable right now, and is still a top 3 talent in pro wrestling."
No I'm not blind. I would not call TNA or ROH audiences large. ROH is not the #1 wrestling company. Just because it is your favorite, and you like the match quality, does not make it #1. Whether anyone likes it or not, WWE is clearly the #1 company, and anyone who argues that is really foolish. And him being a top 3 talent is your opinion, and I respect it.
(trying to have a civilized conversation)
