So I'm reading the March edition of PWI and it has Rhodes in the HoF description section. Dear god I totally forgot him turning on WCW and being a manager for the NWO.
"Rhodes was originally on the side of WCW in its battle with the New World Order (nWo) began in 1996. At Souled Out 1998, Larry Zbyszko asked Rhodes, who was working the PPV broadcast, to accompany him to the ring for his match against Scott Hall. Zbyszko won the match by disqualification due to interference by the nWo, but in the postmatch melee Rhodes turned on Zbyszko and joined the nWo in a shocking moment that actually forced Schiavone off the broadcast in shock; he later returned, kayfabe ripping Rhodes for his actions for most of the rest of the night."
Man the memories.

new new new - new WORLD order, 4 Life! His turn was so random. It never really went anywhere either. He became Scott Hall's manager/side kick of sorts (I don't know if you ever want to refer to the "American Dream" as a sidekick) but that was only when Hall was around - and if you remember Scott Hall's WCW run, he wasn't around too often.......

Hogan, Hall, Nash, DiBiase, Vincent, Syxx and Disciple should have been all that was involved

They had this terrible habit of putting all their eggs in the NWO basket. As someone already stated, there were dozens of guys who either joined the NWO, or whose storylines perpetually revolved around A) feuding with the NWO, B) considering joining the NWO, C) being accused of secretly working with the NWO, or D) trying to seize more power within the NWO.
And worse -- if a guy's storylines rarely involved the NWO, it became an obvious sign that WCW didn't think much of them, and they would be perpetually stuck in the lower-midcard.
