Yeah, i suppose we can have a thread for this, Maybe even get it stickied if we have enough fans.
So September is looming soon enough and all teams are going to be getting into preperation, This years rugby world cup, Perhaps the winner is already announced in New Zeland but of course Australia are outsiders then with IMO France 3rd favourite, Not trying to sound cocky but ireland would be my fourth pick.
I cant see Wales or Scotland getting past the last 16 or Quarter finals tbh, England if they can play welland form well frankly im not expecting it all the choping and changing since the last world cup with johnny barley playing since the final, Its going to be tough but i can also see them doing it, Not winning the competition but putting out a respectable showing, Possibly falling to Ireland or SA,
Which brings me onto South Africa, With their dicision to rest alot of players in the tri nations, and them only winning one match vs australia brings you to wonder, Are they really saving up for the world cup, I mean they were demolished by NZ in the Tri nations, But they are a team that are tricky to beat, Ireland only beat them in 2004 because of ronan o gara, Most of our points came from his kicking.
In Retrospect, Its going to be a great competition, I just hope ireland dont fall short early due to silly mis conseptions

I think England stand a pretty good chance of lifting the cup, would like to see it happen. But i think France will take it this time. NZ and Australia stand a really good chance in getting it. I just hope Wilkinson can stay fit

My mates got tickets for the final. Lucky bastard.
Funny part about it, is that he's Scottish. I honestly don't expect Scotland to get past the 16's tbh.

Ireland will have to finish top of their pool to avoid New Zealand as winner of Pool B plays runner up of Pool A so Ireland will basically have to beat France to go on and do well. New Zealand are beatable if obviously the supply from D.Carter's cut off. Habana and S.A will probably be there, I can see them doing better than the Aussies anyway. England are unpredicitable..got hammered by Ireland in 6 nations then beat France..will depend on impact of Catt,Dalaliagio,Wilkinson and the youngsters like Strettle, etc. Wales will get past the pools but I don't think the Scots will
