Okay. Well MLB 09 is less than a month away. So I figured I would do this. I did not do it last year, but I did it on my old forum so basically this is what it is: Before I actually get the game, I am going to write a few magazines articles for my dynasty that I will do when MLB 09 comes out for the Tampa Bay Rays. I will ONLY do regular season and post season games, and will just sim through spring training. I might follow through on this, or I might forget about it. But enjoy.
Article one: Warming up
The weather is finally warming up, and that can only mean one thing: Baseball is back. Usually there isn't anything special about this time for people in Tampa, Florida. But this year they have something to cheer about. Last year the Tampa Bay Rays had a season a team could only dream of, making it from worst to the World Series. This season they enter with a new confidence from last season, and although faces like Rocco Baldelli and Cliff Floyd won't be with the Rays in the 2009 season, faces like Pat Burrell and Gabe Kapler have arrived. Other young faces like David Price and Evan Longoria want to also make their presence known. Some people think that the Rays will have another dream season, while others are talking about a sophomore-slump. After 2008, rivalries have been created, and hope has risen in Tampa. Nobody really knows what will happen, but one thing is for sure, it will be an exciting year in the dome.
