Because he's  ing old.. The dude can't wrestle every night.. The man's just extending his longevity in wrestling, which you can't do if you wrestle and blow your load every night Which brings us back to the original point... |

And besides, it's probably in his contract which TNA was gladly enough to agree to. And Sting could easily go to Jeff Jarrett/Dixie Carter and go "I wanna work a few house shows" and they wouldn't turn him down. Why? Because, they know it'll be a draw "Come See Sting Live For His Very First TNA House Show Appearance".. |

sting is building household names by putting the younger talent over, so that tna doesn't need to depend on someone that doesn't have interest in house shows etc.
it says way more about tna than sting.

He is boring these days. I haven't watched much of his recent stuff, I'll admit, but that's because I'm tired of him. I was never a fan of him in WCW, only his face paint. His matches are something like punches, punches, scorpion death lock. In my eyes of course.

The reason why Sting is champion is because nobody is GOOD ENOUGH for it!
He puts asses in seats, I don't blame Jarrett for pushing ex WCW talent over TNA talent because about 10 people will want (TNA guy) as a World Champion.
Sting shouldn't have to put himself out at this stage of his career, be thankful he's doing this for you, ingrates.....
He's earned all the respect he has, I hope he stays champion until retirement.

I've got no problem with Sting being a main eventer. I've got no problem with Sting being world champion. But, what I have a problem is with the fact he's world champion and doesn't do ANYTHING . In my honest opinion a world champion is your number one guy. He's the one that you put on house shows, PPVs, TVs, media appearances, signings, etc. Sting's been in TNA since 2006. How many times has he done a house show? None. How many times has he been on TV/Radio promoting TNA? None to my knowledge. He's done one normal autograph signing and 2-3 fan fests. So, explain to me what he's doing now to deserve a world title? Wait, you can't. He does nothing. I can understand him promoting/working house shows and getting the world title but he doesn't. Why can't Sting cut a promo at a house show every once and awhile? You can't give me this "Oh, well he's old and hurt and blah blah blah". Kurt Angle got dropped on his neck last year and STILL worked house shows. Sting's basically getting everything for nothing. While everyone else (basically) is getting nothing for everything. Bottom Line: Sting needs to either stop being a constant world champion/main eventer or get out of his nice California home and do some actual work. Does anyone else agree? /end rant. I agree. I understand what you mean.
Take Cena, now this guy hasn't been on TV that much (in comparrison to how it used to be) but he wrestles/appears on every show. He does all the house shows and radio/TV.
Some people are saying he shouldn't wrestle house shows because he's hurt, thats fair enough, i have no problem with that, but as you've said, why can't he just come out and cut a promo, just make an apperance.
I mean if this guy is going to be champ (basically the top-guy of TNA) needs to be appearing alot more.

If TNA was smart(there's a wasted line of thought), theyd progress these storylines with payoffs of joe, aj, Lethal consequences all having the titles by April/May....oh and let me clarify...of 2009!!! |
