I've got no problem with Sting being a main eventer. I've got no problem with Sting being world champion. But, what I have a problem is with the fact he's world champion and doesn't do ANYTHING . In my honest opinion a world champion is your number one guy. He's the one that you put on house shows, PPVs, TVs, media appearances, signings, etc. Sting's been in TNA since 2006. How many times has he done a house show? None. How many times has he been on TV/Radio promoting TNA? None to my knowledge. He's done one normal autograph signing and 2-3 fan fests.
So, explain to me what he's doing now to deserve a world title? Wait, you can't. He does nothing. I can understand him promoting/working house shows and getting the world title but he doesn't. Why can't Sting cut a promo at a house show every once and awhile? You can't give me this "Oh, well he's old and hurt and blah blah blah". Kurt Angle got dropped on his neck last year and STILL worked house shows.
Sting's basically getting everything for nothing. While everyone else (basically) is getting nothing for everything.
Bottom Line: Sting needs to either stop being a constant world champion/main eventer or get out of his nice California home and do some actual work.
Does anyone else agree?

Agree with everything you said. Angle should have walked out champion tonight. I agree 100%. Now, while Angle has his faults - he's also been doing a TON of promoting for TNA. It's not Sting going to the UK to promote the tour - it's Angle. It's not Sting showing up injured at a house show to cut a promo - it's Angle. I'm not a huge Angle fan but I gotta give credit where credit is due. |

im not trying to be a dick, but maybe he has a deal with TNA where he doesnt do house shows. i dont know, cause i dont work there. The promoting thing is TNA's fault NOT Stings. Maybe if TNA would try to get him on the radio & TV, instead of Angle.
again, i dont know how things work down there in tna, just a guess

Plain and simple. Have him wrestle main event matches but don't give him the belt for taking a leak "Hey Vince, I just took a leak." "NO WAY! We've got to put the strap on ya." (2 months later) "I need time off" (Drops Belt) Rinse. Repat. |

I've got no problem with him as champion - I just want to update my site with house show results just ONCE and his name be on it. How hard is it to do? If you have a house show on a Friday before a PPV - why can't he fly down and cut a promo? There's no reason he can't.

Angle is a good champion because he's a great wrestler, big name, and does promotion for TNA. As SG said, Sting is a bum who doesn't do much to benefit anyone other than himself. I really don't see why Dixie feels the need to bring him back every year. |

But I agree completely, this is what everyone means when they talk about TNA pushing the older guys over the younger ones. This is the reason i'm starting to really dislike the MEM vs. Frontline FUED... love the stable (MEM), but this fued is starting to suck BIG TIME.
