Ever since Sting signed with TNA, he said he was doing it for the younger stars. But can anyone give me an example of somebody he put over and established?

im sure someone will say abyss but that character is a joke now I still don't see how losing to somebody by DISQUALIFICATION after making him look like a bitch all match is putting somebody over.

I think you're able to put someone over even if you beat them. This has happened for years. No one needs to be the winner to look good. I think anyone who Sting has had a good match with was put over in some way.

Christophe.... Aby.... AJ Sty... Samoa... Um... yeah.. He made Christopher Daniels look like a bitch in 7 minutes. He never put over Abyss. He never put over Samoa Joe. And he never put over AJ Styles.

Your shoulders don't have to be pinned to the mat to put someone over in essence. If you make the guy look good, they can get over just fine.

See Jeff Jarrett vs. Jay Lethal for the NWA World Title back in what '06? Lethal gave him a run for his money and had a good match and I (personally) become a fan of Lethal then.

It has happened many times in wrestling history. Austin lost that match to Bret Hart and he got over like crazy after.

While I agree with James, the question still stands. Has Sting really put anyone over in his TNA run?

Who cares if he hasn't put over anyone? He shouldn't lose, he's a huge star and a great wrestler, and noone should be him unless they get bumped to a new level..
Look at Kobashi, Mutoh, Misawa, etc etc, they don't lose unless they get bumped down the card and the guy they lose to gets bumped up

Who cares what you think anyway, there's millions of wrestling fans out there that think differently than you, and KNOW he's a huge name and a great wrestler...
Other than these indy hotshot guys who have no clue what a match is

That's how the business is furthered right?

Misawa got pinned by Samoa Joe on Joe's first night in NOAH. Kobashi was also pinned on his return match in 2007.

Misawa also lost to some fat schlub Morishima pretty convincingly too.
