Word. Another question if you don’t mind haha how often does super7 do these pre orders? Is it quarterly or monthly or something? Really it’s hard to tell because Super7 just started to figure out production. They usually do 4 Filmation figures and 4 Classics figures up for preorder at the same time. Wave 2 preorder was just over in May. So we could see another preorder in the fall but they may not ship until January 2019. They do exclusives and some random vehicles inbetween but you’re really not looking at more than a couple of times a year based on how they are doing it now. They also started doing releases based on the original He-man figures from the 80s and they make He-man figures in the ReAction style as well. So it’s not just all Classics style figures from them all year long, and they’re a small company. Ok yeah I’m definitely going to pre order the vintage wave those are awesome and idk about the reaction figs there’s hardly any articulation for $15 a pop but they do pump out a ton of characters I’m torn on those as well

Stridor randomly arrived today. Zero notification he'd shipped or was in stock. He’s what you’d expect. Would a bit shinier be cool? Yeah. But he’s nice overall and I’m very glad to have him. Thing and Mikey were all I had on my coffee table. They’re the duo I never knew I needed.

I have come across a MOC scareglow while going through bins of collectibles I had stored away.
Any of the classics even worth anything?

He's worth somewhere in the $100-150 range depending on how frisky eBay is feeling that day. Most of the main pieces are still worth plenty of money. Sorceress, Fisto, Ram-Man. Definitely cross reference what you have against ebay Sold listings.

I never understood the love for the POP Funkos, I never would have thought in all my years collecting that they would have taken off the way they have. I still look at them in stores and say to myself, WTF? But each to their own. I have heard it from many collectors and retailers, POP’s are this generations beanie babbies. In another few years when the buzz pops ( no pun intended) these will all drop in value to the point that Dollar General will pick them up. Oh the landfills that will harvest the souls of Pop collectors in the next decade or less is sad. I'm sure there will be a time when Pops aren't as big a deal as they are now (like back when they first started making them in 2010), but they will most likely be making Pops in some way, shape, or form for quite a while. Pops are really no different than any other toy. Are toys completely dead or out of style? No. Marvel and WWE figures are still some of the biggest sellers around. Same with Hot Wheels and Barbie. How many different colored El Camino Hot Wheels do you need? Beanies were stuffed animals. There's a much smaller market for something like that. Pops are actually licensed characters with a passing likeness.

The He-man vintage wave 2 is up for pre order at Large Evil and Super7 for February shipping. Eldor and He-Ro as well. Not sure what the deal is with those two but they look the same only on the different carding.
I ordered Teela, MAA, and Beast Man from Large Evil. At $20 a pop I’m only getting my favorites from when I was a kid.

Opened what will likely be my final MOTUC figure last night in Karg. It’s been a bumpy ride, but I think my collection is finally done.

How do the Super 7 He-Man figures stand? Are they solid, or will a slight jostle send them over? They stand pretty well. The legs really only have the one pose for standing but there is a joint where the legs connect to the trunks so you can move the legs freely if you want. I would say they can tip backwards if you’re really trying to knock them over because they have that natural squat position but they by no means just tip over when you pose them. I forgot to mention they have the slingshot function too like the originals. So if you turn back the torso and let go it will swing forward to simulate the sword swing action. I thought that was a cool nod. That was probably the worst explanation ever but if you had the old ones you know what I mean. Cool. Yeah, no I totally know what you mean. I was asking because the FYE near my house got a Hordak and a She-Ra in, and I kinda wanted to buy the Hordak. I just wanted to be able to stand him on a shelf with the rest of my collection. Good to hear.

Good to hear. No problem. I didn't realize FYE was getting them in but that makes sense since I've seen the ReAction style He-man figures there before. I'll check for my doubles of She-Ra and Hordak there first. So thanks for the heads up on those.

I'm guessing they got two sets and someone bought a Skeletor and He-Man already. So you know, She-Ra doesn't seem to stand as well as the guys because she has the smaller feet. I was still able to get her to stand fairly easily but she's not as solid on her feet as the others. Conversely, Hordak is absolutely the sturdiest on his feet of the group because he's got the wider feet.

I stopped by FYE on my way in to work today and grabbed Hordak, but haven't had the chance to open him yet. I will tonight after I get off. The girl at the register commented on how popular these had been. Apparently they got in six of them (3 Hordak and 3 She-Ra), and I got the last Hordak. Glad I went back, but it sucks that my store never even got He-Man or Skeletor in. Crossing my fingers that since these sold well, that they might restock the whole wave.

One Hordak left at one of the few remaining fye stores in my area. It wasn't too long ago when FYE at a location in nearly every town around me.
I recently bought a handful of the Four Horsemen' Mythic Legions. Nice looking figures, but I'm not sure how sturdy they are. I wasn't too happy snapping an ankle peg on a $50 toy.

I wound up getting Holiday He-Man from BigBadToystore, and Laughing Adam came from Super 7 finally.

I bought a He-Man from FYE. I think his misplaced strap made him less desirable to anyone with plans to keep him MOC. That's okay, I'm an opener. I kind of forgot the old 80s Mattel figures had an elastic through the pelvis to hold the legs together, while Super7 has newly designed hip joints.
