I had him in my cart for about 4o minutes, but their ridiculous captcha needed to be refreshed well over 20 times. Wound up missing him, then the salt on the wound get an email that I have an item in my cart that needs to be checked out, before it sells out. Hopefully they do the 2nd run pre-order like they did with Grizzlor and Wun-Dar.

I definitely missed it. Usually I'm off on Fridays but I had to work yesterday and didn't remember till 2 pm. I've missed every MC exclusive so far except for Sun Man and Mini Comic Tri-Klops 🤦😆 Don't feel bad. Before Grizzlor I missed out on all of them except for the Tri-Klops.

I was surprised Wun-Dar was an exclusive and I'm still hoping they offer a regular version. He and Grizzlor were the only ones I really kicked myself for missing, especially with the additional preorders they did (for one or both, I can't remember). As a no-longer-young or single or part-time-working man, I fail at exclusives. HARD.

I got an email today that my Camo Khans are on the way. Can't wait to see these in person.

Space Sumo goes on sale Wednesday at 9am pacific time on Mattel Creations.
I'll probably get one since I try to get all of the Origins figures, but I'm disappointed that it's the same figure that came in the Target Exclusive 3 pack (just like Pig Head). At least change the colors or something. Frankly, I can think of a dozen other MOTU characters that would have made great MC exclusives. Rotar and Extendar come to mind first. We also need a Sy-Klone, bad.

Really just doesn't seem worth it. I love the Rulers of the Sun figures, though, and I got the MC Sun Man, so Sumo would look good next to him.

Yeah, I'm on board with you guys. I got the RotS 3-pack for $25, and that's good enough for me.

This is a long shot, but do you happen to have an extra MC Sun Man moc? I missed out on Sun Man, Wundar, and Koldar. If so I have an extra Grizzlor and also got an extra Camo Khan coming. Should be here tomorrow.

I like that packaging. I wish Hasbro had slide out card backs.
Big Bad sent a "processing soon" email for Masterverse Stratos, Evil Lyn, Frosta, and Roboto around 11/20, but nothing has come in stock.

My Target had SheRa and Hordak on clearance for $16 and change. I got SheRa. Was a little more than I wanted to spend, but went ahead anyway.
No offense to MOTU fans, but I really want to know how these lines are profitable, much less stay afloat. They are always on sale or clearance. Target and Amazon always have reduced prices for them. The Walmart I went to today had many of them in the first rounds of clearance.

The Walmart I went to today had many of them in the first rounds of clearance. I'm a huge MOTU fan, but I don't take offense to your question. I think Origins is doing fine, but Masterverse is an inferior version of Masters of the Universe Classics, and I think the sales and discounts reflect that people share my opinion. For me, many of the sculpts and parts just don't look good. The quality seems a bit low, too. He-Man and Skeletor look goofy to me in pretty much all their releases. The female figures are pretty excellent, but so many of the rest are lacking. Then you add the extra cost for these deluxe versions, and it's not worth it. Tri-Klops, Trap Jaw, Beast Man, Hordak (Filmation), She-Ra, and Faker are all deluxe at a 30-dollar price point. They should have gone with regular releases for them and cut out some accessories. I haven't bought any of them except Faker because I have a solid MOTUC collection.

If the new MOTU media (even going back to Netflix SheRa) had set the world on fire. Truly brought MOTU back into popularity and the public conscience, I would not be asking these asking questions. But lets be honest, it hasn't.

But lets be honest, it hasn't. And that's unfortunate. It's been great to see all the MOTU content and merchandise, and I really hope it keeps up, but there's a disconnect between those watching She-Ra and He-Man on Netflix and those of us who grew up with MOTU and now watch MOTU Revelation. I think Mattel put all their Masterverse eggs into Revelation, and that series was polarizing (though I enjoyed it). The 40th Anniversary He-Man and the New Eternia figures are a step in the right direction, but now it looks like it would have been better to get those figures earlier instead of all-Revelation waves to start (along with not making core characters deluxe editions).

Massive MOTU mark here & I have less than zero interest in Masterverse. I've got a huge collection of original MOTU that I'm spicing up with origins & a massive MOTUC collection so it's redundant to me.
MOTUC will likely never be beaten for character depth etc

I realize the Horsemen did MOTUC, but whomever is sculpting Masterverse is not in the same league. Props and good luck to its fans, but I've decided to not stick with it unless it lasts long enough to really change/improve.

I'd rather spend $150 on a great Classics figure than $20 on any Masterverse figure.
And that's what I've been doing.

I've gotten a few masterverse figures of characters I like. I didn't go all in. Like the upcoming Two-Bad looks pretty good. The Deluxe price point at 30.00 and higher is a bit crazy, but follows Hasbro's suit of Deluxing the Darktrooper and Ned droid nothing that should be over 30.00. Croc Master and Snake Eyes from GI Joe at the 40.00 deluxe price point are more worth it as it seems like you get more bang for your buck. The toy companies if you have diehard completitsts that need everything they will buy it. Casual collectors will buy or what for sales before they get them.
