I tapped out on Masterverse right away. I bought Teela/He-Man/Skeletor/EL from Revelation but then didn't end up liking the show very much. So that stopped me dead on the line. I already have a good amount of Classics, and agree they're a superior version of what Masterverse is trying to be, and I absolutely love the Origins line and feel it deserves all my MOTU attention and money. Masterverse just doesn't check any boxes for me. Although, if Mattel doesn't give me an Origins Sy-Klone soon, I'm going to shake my fist in the air.

I will update my Horde with Origins & because I got such a rush of nostalgia getting TC Skelly and FF he Man I will get more guys I didn't have as a kid. Ill be very excited if they can include some movie guys in origins. Dont have any of those in my vintage display. But anything Horde they do/ I'm there...Horde trooper variants are pure $$$ for Mattel too. give us the Horde troopers as they appeared in the 200x toon for instance...Horde Knights I think they were called. |

  Got my Space Sumo on Wednesday. Haven't really had time to open them until today. As a MOC collector I like it because of the packaging, but I still don't understand why they released the same one that comes in the Target 3-Pack as a Mattel Creations Exclusive. Can't wait for Frog Monger. |

The box art on these Origins exclusives is incredible. I'd love it if Mattel would put out prints or posters of them, even in (especially in?) black on cardboard brown. So clean.

 I was at Target tonight looking for Legends 17 and found Thunder Punch He-Man and King Hiss. They only had one of each and they were hidden behind some Legos. Hopefully sometime soon they will have the whole Snake Men set. |

 Found Mekaneck at Target last night. It was the only one they had. I told myself I'm don't buying the MOTU vehicles, but I had to have this one. As a moc collector the vehicles take up A LOT of space and get damaged easily with their enormous packaging if I store them in boxes, which I have to do for most of them due to their size. |

 Frog Monger 🐸 goes up Tuesday 1/17 at 12pm Eastern Time. Can't wait for this one.. He-Skeletor should be coming out next month or March at the latest. It looks cool even though it's pretty much Faker 2.0. Although I do love that they're making a handful of new/unique figures alongside the originals. Mattel is really killing it with this line. Now all they need to do is fix their distribution problems. I haven't seen any of the last 4 waves in stores. Most places are still LOADED with Wave 7 (which would have been a great line if they didn't mass produce it). |

Sad thing is no one seems to be clearancing it out (at least here) to get rid of it. And sadder is the fact I panicked and preordered from Big Bad way back when and then forgot and received it after I found all of them at retail. So I wouldn't even buy up the clearance stock if it happened. |

I'm hoping they get to the likes of The Horde Mummy etc.... It's gotta happen. I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened yet given the previous Classics and retro releases and the other former exclusives and rarities they've done. Only problem is it'd take a new sculpt, so that could be a factor as far as why they haven't done it yet. They could do Slamurai, too, because we got Ninjor already. I actually have him higher on my want list than Horde Mummy. I'm a sucker for ninja and samurai and anything related to them (same as I was in the 80s haha). |

My local Walmart in Bartow clearanced them out back in like September/October and has since gotten more, lol. Seems like the same thing is happening with Leech and Snout Spout. Every Walmart I go to they are practically falling off the pegs. Idk what wave to look out for next. I assume the Snake Men wave since I found the deluxe figures in store the other day. Although I hope we see the King Randor set first. I have one preordered on EE just in case. |
