New Promo for Turtles of Grayskull; MOTU/TMNT crossover...
The "To Be Continued" at the end makes me hope there are more of these. Nick and Mattel should really get together and make some dtvs, a miniseries, something, of this.

Nick and Mattel should really get together and make some dtvs, a miniseries, something, of this. Freddie Williams (comic artist) has art he did for a crossover comic on his web site. It got scrapped, but with this line, I'd love to see it revisited. I'd really love a show or animated film, too, though.

There will be a baf Metal-Boto figure. toynewsi.com/241-50626The Metal-Boto is stretched out across 4 figures. I am guessing those 4 are the deluxe figures of Mouse-Jaw, Krang, Moss Man, and Sla'ker. I was going to skip a few of those, but Mattel found a way to rope me back in. Guess I really am getting EVERY FIGURE in this line. Also artwork of the possible, future Teela action figure... toynewsi.com/241-50638The more I look at this line, and all of the other TMNT lines out there across several companies... It makes me wonder/conspirize that Nick must be desperate to get the toy license away from Playmates so they can put it up on the open market. Mattel is desperate for major IP at the moment; they would JUMP.

Mondo Panthor came today. First mondo product, with no issues. I really dont want this version, but if the flocked sells fast and i cant get one, i would be out on panthor. So hes a back up for now. If only they would ship the deluxe skeletor.
Just got email this morning, mondo Adam shipping.

Amazon has the Netflix CGI animated Castle Grayskull for really cheap over the last week. A Black Friday sale for less than $50. I never had Castle Grayskull as a kid, so it wasn't something I needed. But cheap with effects to make it look like Heman is transforming; I bought.
As a Black Friday deal, it has a little ticker showing how many people have claimed the deal. It has been out for a week, this morning it was only at 10%. NO ONE wants this thing. Other toy deals have come and gone over the last week, but this thing is in no danger of selling out.
UPDATE: Nearly 2 weeks later after I bought Netflix Grayskull, it is still less than $50 on Amazon. For REALZ: NO ONE Wants this thing!!!
UPDATE 2: The next day, and it is now ~$5 cheaper at $43!!
UPDATE 3: 12/15/23 Nearly a month after I originally bought Netflix Grayskull, it is now $30!!!! on Amazon. I ordered it again and put in for a return on my original purchase. Glad for Amazon holiday return policy and that I was too busy to open it. Yeah, I will put in some work to save $20. But once again: For REALZ!! NO ONE WANTS THIS THING!!!!!!

Origins Point Dread is $15 and change on Amazon. I wasn't going to get it because I have the original mostly complete, but $15 seems too good to pass up.

Turtles of Grayskull went on sale today. I started to buy them on Amazon and then decided to hold off for now. They feel a bit too distant from Origins/MOTU in general to really grab me.

I read this and RAN to Amazon. They only had Donatello and Man-At-Arms in stock. And I knew they would be $20 when they finally hit.

Some online stores have all of the first wave, but I only saw the ones you did on Amazon. Not sure if the others haven't gone up there or if they sold out immediately or what.

Turtles is a pass for me. I don't particularly care for the designs so far and we've seen TMNT pimped out to everyone at this point. I collect NECA Toon, Super7 (the party wagon is insane btw), and I have my original playmates Turtles on display. I don't need them crossed into my MOTU collection. Mikey not being available right away is a turn off since he's my favorite Turtle, but I wasn't buying them either way since they're too stylized for what I'd want out of these matching Origins.
Just patiently waiting for Sy-Klone, Rekkon, and Night Stalker. Hopefully we get Two Bad this year, as well. I'm just not excited about Turtles or the Cartoon Collection the way I've been about Origins replicating, modernizing, the original line. They've done a wonderful job with Origins. It's bittersweet to watch the run largely come to a halt as they transition to other areas of the fandom.

I don't have any in hand, but so far the thing I like best about the Cartoon Collection is the packaging. I have a collection of MOC He-Man and Skeletor figures, so I might get those two just to add to it. Right now I'm not interested in a loose Cartoon Collection.

After Eric said Turtles of Grayskull were on Amazon, I ran to get them. But I started rethinking my position on these. I started to wonder: What am I going to do with these things after I get them? Do I really need all of these? I kinda decided no. I cancelled my Man-At-Arms. But I am keeping the Donnie. I really want to read the comic. I will regroup once I have Donnie in my hands and read the comic. I could change my mind again and need them all.

Haven't confirmed it but I took it as truth. That changed my opinion a lot because I was hoping to have "regular" Turtles to display that match Origins. But I bought extra re-release Storage Shell Turtles not long ago to go with my Origins collection (I also bought the Mega Construx Turtles a while back for the same reason), so that was another reason I don't need these. With that said, if I can get these for cheaper (say, $15 or so) at some point, I'll probably go for it.

There is a small green shell pre-molded onto the figure.

FYI - the MOTU point dread playset and talon fighter vehicle is 70% off at Target. I got one in-store today. Pretty sad when all you need to do is wait a few months and you can get at least the vehicles on clearance...now if they would only get some new origins figs...

If you are ordering from Amazon, be careful of 2 things.
1. My ToG Donnie came with its box all bent up on one side from shipping. Good thing I was going to open it anyway.
2. Amazon must be shipping out international versions of the figures. I opened my Donnie, all excited to read the comic. But my comic had no words. Just pictures.
Be wary of these when ordering from Amazon.

Be wary of these when ordering from Amazon. Can confirm. I got the international version of the new Origins cartoon He-man yesterday. I complained in chat and they let me keep it and gave me a refund, but I'll still have to order one from somewhere else, as well as move all my MOTU figure preorders to another place.

Anyone watch MOTU Revolution yet? I'm two episodes in. So far, so good, but I will admit the novelty isn't there as much as with Revelation. Seeing all the characters the first time was total geek out mode for me.
