Some might find this stupid but whatever, I noticed something while looking at the No Way Out 2003 DVD cover. This one: Notice how everyone on the left side are WWF/E guys (from attitude era) while everyone on the right side are all people who were in wCw/nWo at the time (during the monday night wars). Also notice how everyone on the right side lost their matches that night. Was this coincidence or more revenge on wCw? we'll never know.

Agreed. I don't feel WWE would have gone into the 'minor' detail which you just said.

Coincidence, any real shot at wCw would have occured right after its closing.

not to be a conspirer, but i think you could be right. especially considering the kind of names you got right there (besides steiner ) and if it was real, then the motives behind it i bet were just nothing more then for Vince's amusement, however its nothing that can be confirmed nor denied, and even so it really doesnt mean much now.

Vince always took potshots at WCW.
Want to know something more interesting?
Every major feud that Triple H had in 2003 was with a wrestler who main evented in WCW. With the exception of Goldberg, Scott Steiner, Booker T, Ric Flair, and Kevin Nash all got jobbed out to The Game. If that isn't a shot at WCW(being all these feuds were over WCWs old title, the re-activated World Heavyweight Championship), then stick me in a coffin with a Kane mask on and call me Katie Vick.

It was WWE booking. They never let the other guy win.

Also on that card, the Undertaker defeated The Big Show.

Matt Hardy defeated Billy Kidman too at that event if you wanna start to get technical with this.
Clearly WCW was long forgotten when No Way Out 2003 rolled around... but it would not surprise me if Vince did that just for his own amusement like someone had said already.

I don't know if it was meant to be a shot at WCW, but I think the idea if putting the WWE stars on one side together was definitely done on purpose. Most posters will groups faces on one side and heels on another. They're mixed and matched here.

Nope, it was originally bumped by the guy with Nash holding a gun in his sig saying "Classics board, and coincidence", but he deleted his post.

Bump a thread to have a go at someone for posting in the wrong section. Vintage WF.

Nope, it was originally bumped by the guy with Nash holding a gun in his sig saying "Classics board, and coincidence", but he deleted his post. someone bumped this before him. It must have been bumped before I posted. I didn't even notice the date until CenaIsGod called me out for allegedly bumping a 3 year old topic. I'll take the blame if it's my fault though. I never look past page 2 so I have no idea how it happened but if it's my fault then I apologize. I certainly didn't go to page 500 (or whatever) and pull this up just to tell someone they posted in the wrong board. That would just be ridiculous.
