As reported yesterday, TNA Wrestling has released homegrown stars Petey Williams and Lance "Rock" Hoyt. You can now add Jimmy Rave to that list of released stars.

The fact Hemmes name alone probably has more drawing ability on a wider scale than Petey Williams, Lance Hoyt & Jimmy Rave combined might be a factor in why she's there and they're not.

I don't think ROH is going to be so quick to pick everyone up. They might let them wrestle some shows, but beyond that I'm sure they are trying to be careful with their money.

I'm waiting on the day that all of these old farts have to retire and TNA is left with AJ and Joe in the main event. I bet then they will realize how they ed up. |

Rave left ROH because he felt mistreated in the first place. Believe me, he'll be back there. At his size, Rave honestly doesn't have too many other options. |

You guys have to realize something - these people being released contracts are expiring which basically means two things
1.) They're going to release guys that they don't have plans for (See Hoyt/Rave)
2.) They're releasing guys that they can't agree on a new contract with (See Petey Williams)
It's not like they're going "Petey, you're fired for no reason". Petey/TNA couldn't agree on a new contract - so that's why he's gone.

It's not like Rave and Hoyt were doing anything or had any talent in the first place. Yeah, I agree. Plus, they can always bring 'em back working under a "per apperance" (which isn't the smartest thing tbh) unless WWE picks them up which I don't see happening for Petey/Rave. |
