SHIMMER star Ashley Lane (real name Ashley Simmons), who appeared as Madison Rayne, has signed a deal with TNA, so she'll be a regular member of the TNA Knockouts roster going forward.

Is TNA looking to make the Knockouts division it's focal point? Getting rid of Petey, and signing YET another useless female talent?

Also, they couldn't agree on a new contract with Petey. It's not like they went "YOUR FIRED PETEY FOR NO REASON". If Petey wouldn't agree on a new contract how can ya make him? You can't.

Hasn't MsChif said she wouldn't sign with a "major company"? I would LOVE to see her in TNA but I Just don't see it happening. Honestly, release Bolt, Khan, and Hemme and sign her and Sara DelRay.

Because not everyone's in it for the money. I'm not sure of his current finisher but when i use to watch her everyweek as Lexi Lane I think she used a Reverse STO I don't see why anyone would want them to stop hiring women like Ashley - she's very very talented. Yes, I said useless. I don't despise women wrestling nor think "women can't wrestle"... but it's clear as day, MOST people could care less about womens wrestling. And theres a reason for that, it's not entertaining enough. For the most part, it looks forced and not smooth.

I have never seen her wrestle before but I have heard a lot of good things about her and she is amazingly hot so this is a win for TNA. I just wish TNA didn't bring out the worst in everybody. I mean I have seen some of the TNA Knockouts wrestle on the indy scene and they have way better matches than anything you will see on TNA. I guess that could be said for most of the male workers as well though.

Personally, I am not a huge fan of women wrestling, so any signings they do for the Knock Out Division do not excite me.
I think TNA needs to focus more on shaping their main event scene a little bit better and obviously using their talent better. Kevin Nash, Booker T, Scott Steinner, Sting...they just don't have me running to the television like they did nearly 10 years ago.

The knockouts is highest rated because... I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's because most are drunk rednecks that like to watch some good ol' wrasslin' and hope for some titties to pop out during a match.
